- How can hardware vendors get an edge on the competition? By using sneaky tactics, such as guerrilla marketing... infiltrating hardware enthusiast message boards and subtly (or sometimes blatantly) suggesting certain brands or products. It's extremely effective and most people don't even consider the fact that people pushing a certain brand or piece of hardware are related to the company itself.

- And aside from guerrilla marketing, there's viral marketing... think "unintentional guerrilla marketing". People who own a product and decide to recommend a certain product merely because they own it, and they think that their judgment is best, so surely the product they chose to buy is the best.
- Just a reminder to take /g/'s "suggestions" with a grain of salt. Hell, don't ever take /g/'s advice. Make your own decisions when buying hardware (that means don't using Falcon's shitty guide or listen to specific feedback in build threads).
