Ivy V Nightwing: The One Liners

DGNightwing: -Nightwing was sitting on the ledge of a building looking over the city of Bludhaven. It was slightly chilly outside. Maybe cold enough for a hoodie. The sky was dark, the city was quiet besides the usual city traffic. There was a slight breeze. He was on patrol, which is what he did every night. Nightwing had his two escrima sticks in his hand. He was twirling them around his fingers, his escrima sticks were shatterproof polymer Escrima Sticks that were capable of sending volts of electricity to people. He had a stun gun on his side in his utility belt which sent 100,000 volts. Nightwing was over veiwing the city. It was unusually quiet, he had lifted his hand to his mask, and pressed a small button on it which activated his built in communicater- "Nightwing to oracle, can you check the radar to see if there is anything going on? Its really quiet and im getting rather bored doing nothing. Id hate to call it another early night. Back in Gotham ther ewas always something to do. "Oracle would take a few seconds to reply, she wuld reply with dissapointing news that there wastn anything yet, Grayson sighed and kept twirling his sticks

Alexithymiaa: -On her current quest to break into the city's research lab in an attempt to free the animals and destroy their research, Poison Ivy was standing on the roof of the labratory. Disappointed that none of her colleagues had been able to help her on the more personal plans for the evening, she was in the process of melting the locks off the door to gain access to the stairwell. Using natural acid, the locks sizzled and fell from the door which only resulted in an excited giggle from Ivy followed by a swift kick to the center of the door so it would swing open. "I'm coming babies." She spoke in a high pitched voice, venturing down the staircase and into the building. She'd researched the blueprints of the lab and was able to navigate the rooms she had in mind fairly quickly.-
Alexithymiaa: (For reference, my keyboard is messed up and sometimes duplicates certain letters. Most of the time it happens so fast I dont catch it.)
DGNightwing: (Im an idiot, cant spell, try to type faster then my brain processes so sometimes some letters would be out of place or capped. So dont worry)

DGNightwing: Well, hack into some cameras or something. Im bored= Nightwing would lay back and look up at the sky, resting on his hands- "Youre getting lazy, Dick. Maybe if you move around the city some, instead of relaxing ontop of the library, something would happen" -Nightwing would sit up, playfully angry- "Touche"- he would stand up and brush himself off, he ran and leaped off of the building, extending his body, the acrobat would then tuck and front flip as he landed on another, he would patiently wait while Oracle did her job and checked the security footage to see if anything out of ordinary was going on

Alexithymiaa: -Navigating the intricate hallways of the labratory, she turned around the next corner only to see a security guard standing watch. With a dramatic pout, she started to saunter towards him, tossing her hair over her shoulder and sending him a devilish smile. "Well aren't you cute?" She asked before she was close enough to attack, pushing her forearm against his neck and leaning in quickly to press her lips to his. Releasing toxins into his system, she let him go to drop to the floor, swiping his keycard to make her navigation a little smoother from here on out. Unfortunately for her, she didn't notice that he'd been able to trigger a security breach on the radio that was strapped to his hip. Slipping through the doors, she found herself in a room filled with caged animals lining the walls. "Oh my poor babies." She spoke with a frown, reaching for the first cage to unhook the latch and pull the door open to let the birds fly out.-

DGNightwing: "Nightwing, I got something. Security breach over at the research lab over in east Bludhaven, I hacked into the security cameras. Its Ivy. You know how she is, get there fast- Nightwing would nod even though she couldnt see the nod- Im on it. Nightwing out- He wasnt far, actually just a couple of blocks away, he was coming up on the alleyway where he parked his bike. He dropped down in the alleyway, getting on his bike, and speeding through the city An estimated time of 2 minutes and 43 seconds rom the time he got on his bike and to the location, alot faster then the cops. he grappeled up ontop of the building, he didnt see any goons anywhere. She seemed alone he looked through the window. AN easy access point. He silently removes the panel, and climbs down, he would appear in the same room as her, but he was on the foundation in the ceiling, looking down at her, he jumped down quickly, landing behind her- Well well well. Its been a while, I didnt know my geen house class was today, I wouldnt have been so late. Totally forgot- he shrugged holding his arms out- Now, just dont make this hard, come with me, and we can see about reducing your sentance to forever?

Alexithymiaa: -In the time it took him to get there, she'd managed to open all of the cages in that room so an assortment of birds, rats, mice, a monkey, rabbits, and several snakes were now roaming freely. She'd just started on destroying research by way of fire when Nightwing dropped in. Whirling around, she smiled at him, cocking her hip and letting her gloved hand rest easily on her waist. "Aw, my favorite bird. I knew my best student couldn't be too far behind." She took a step back from him, keeping him at arms length. She knew his combat well enough to know her advantage was a ranged attack. "First lesson? Be on time." She grabbed the flaming paperwork to her side, tossing it up into the air in his line of sight and darting backwards, spinning around to run across the room to the open door that led to the hallway. But of course, not without more laughter because he was purely a game to her.-

DGNightwing: -He looked around at all of the animals/reptiles roaming around the floor- Oh...Oh jeez. -he noticed the little fires from her destroying the research, he looked back at her, shaking his head- Now...why? Why do this?- She attempted her distraction tactic, this one was slightl clever, he couldnt let the papers hit the ground, it was a research center, there was bound for something to be in here that could explode. In one of the cartriges on his utility belt, he had a little gun that produced the same type of foam that a fire hydrant does, he would spray it at the paper, and in other areas, quickly. He turned torward ivy. Grayson was really quick, he could catch her. However, he had tobe careful not to let the animals out,he also had to be mindful of her moves. He should have set traps on his way in, the door was open, he stood in direct line of her= Come on ivy..- he would quickly dart torward her, assuming she would run a bit further- Youre inside. We are in my domain now, I have the advantage. I could end you really quick...i just want to give you the chance to make it easy ivy...last warning.

Alexithymiaa: -She turned quickly once she was out in the hall, not wanting to keep her back to him for very long. "But where's the fun in that? Nothing in life is fun when it's easy." She said with a pout, trying to distract him and be coy. "Besides, the longer we stay, the more time we can spend being tangled." She quirked her brow, unable to hide her smirk when she swiftly stomped the heel of her boot. On cue, the experimental plants from inside the lab rooms grew through the doorway, coiling themselves around Nightwing's ankles in an attempt to stop him from moving further. "Gotta run, babe!" She called out with a laugh before turning again to take off running down the hallway.-

DGNightwing: Its going to be easy for me reguardless Pam, stop thi..- he was cut of be her statement, he knew as soon as she sai the pun what was going to happen, the lenses in his mask rose on que as his eyes, he shoudlnt have even hought he had the advantage inside. It wa a research lab. H felt a slight tug at his ankles, the planks yankig him from his feet, holding him upside down- "Dick, whats happening" - he could har oracle caling from his commuter- Oh yanno. JUst hanging around. I got it babs, dont worry- He could feel her scolding him through the com. He reached in his pocket, pulling out a hand sized wing ding, it was really sharp, h would slice at the plants, cutting them enough so he could break free, he would fall to the ground, and instantly roll to his feet, she didnt get far, but this was a good distraction. No police yet outisde, but soon, he chased after her, the acrobat was dodging, ducking, and dipping the clingy plants as they tried to grab him, he pulls out his grapel gun as he closed in, aiming it at her feet- See you next fall gorgeous. - he would pul the triger, if aimed correctly with no interfierences, the gun would tangle around her feet, only to trip her, if it were to miss, he would obviously continue to chase her as the hallway was nearing the end and think about his next move, he wouldnt stop, seeng as if he stopped, a plant would sweep him up again

Alexithymiaa: -She couldn't resist the urge to laugh her way down the hallway as she ran from him, her hair billowing behind her and her thick boots making deep thudding noises on the tile. In hindsight, her chosen costume was extremely conspicuous. When she heard his footsteps fall into line behind her, she stole a glance over her shoulder to see him with her beloved plants close at his heels. "Be nice to them, they like it gentle!" She called out before the gun tangled cord around her legs. With the loss of motion in her lower half combined with her momentum, she fell forward onto her hands with a huff. "Well now that's just not fair."-

DGNightwing: -As she fell, he held the grappel gun, and walked closer to her, he would kneel at her as she was on the ground, he would smirk- Its always the crazy girls that fall for me huh? - he would laugh a bit and sit her up, attempting to tie her hands behind her back, if she didnt fight it, she would be sitting down, fully tied up, waiting for police to arive, he would then stand up, crossing his arms as he heard the sirens- Welp. Im not really supposed to be here, so im going to have to bail, I had a nice date though, it seems that i have forgotten my wallet. Can you get the check? -he would head back into the data room to escap the way he came in so he wouldnt get in trouble by the police, Nightwing would exit the building, and ride back to his apartment

Alexithymiaa: -Narrowing her eyes at him as he tied her hands behind her back, her flirty facade fell away because now she was just irritated she'd lost their little dance. "You're the only crazy one here if you think it's this easy to be rid of me!" She yelled at him, watching as he took off in the direction they'd come from. Giving a pout, she sat until the police had made their way into the building and stumbled upon her, hoisting her up to her feet. Waiting until they undid her feet so she'd be able to at least walk down to the patrol cars, she batted her lashes at them, keeping her voice a low whisper. "A girl could get used to being handled by such good looking men." Tipping her head to the side, she leaned in and kissed the first cop, his hands falling away from her. The moment he let go, she took off running, quick to flee the scene... UNTIL NEXT TIME.-
