The eldest child of the newest generation of House Koketsuna, Ginsei is a skilled warrior on the battlefield... And little else. While he's yet to be bested in combat by any man with his obnoxiously huge greatsword, his social skills are nowhere near the same level of mastery. Ginsei is completely full of himself, a pretentious show-off who thinks he's all that and a bag of rice. (Yes, I said "a bag of rice." Got a problem with it? Eat me!) He actively despises being told what to do; while he often says that he would rather die than work for someone else, if such a situation ever arises, he usually ends up being a lazy sack and just lolling about idly instead of doing what he's told... Unless that "what he's told" is "killing people" or "fighting". Or you appeal to his ego... Or threaten his manliness.

Ginsei thinks little of women, that their place should be in the kitchen cooking sashimi, and views them as little more than objects to be collected and stored in a harem. With boobies. Yeah, Jirou got his fixation on boobies from Ginsei.

Aside from himself and boobs, Ginsei's greatest fixation is upon his personally modified sword, Ryuushi, the Dragon's Tooth. And by "personally modified", he totally just glued the teeth he ripped out from a Druddigon he slew in single combat. He thinks he's good at forging weapons, but that's only because his glue didn't wear out yet. The weapons he crafts are dingy and half-assed at best, but that's good enough for Atsuko, from whom he had Tendou forged.

Speaking of that Druddigon, when Ginsei isn't pre-occupied with slicing people's heads open or sparring with his own Pokemon in single combat, he often hunts Pokemon for sport, if not for just trophies. The fact that he often puts up stuffed mounts of his kills is the biggest reason why he hates Atsuko with a burning passion for accidentally destroying their room. He blew away over three dozen mounted heads that Ginsei spent over five years collecting.
