Tisserand [PTU]

A Tisserand warps and distorts the veil between this world and the next by way of weaving a portion their own soul into symbols engraved on cloth or paper. Once these are integrated onto their person, the symbols activate, blurring the line that separates reality and the ethereal. While limited, this power to blear the void allows them to, for instance, divert force into the other realm and see through the eyes of their ethereal soul.

The Tisserand specializes in Cleanse Tags, and finding other uses for them; as such, they often find themselves gravitating toward the Sage and Hex Maniac classes especially. They tend to play a more supportive role, rather than an offensive one, so Classes like Musician and Medic also work well, as does Channeler. That said, offensive Classes can find use for the defensive Features here, and those such as the Rogue can make great use of the Skill and Capability benefits.

Tisserand

Trigger: You scribe a Cleanse Tag
Effect: You attach the scribed Cleanse Tag to yourself until the end of the day, after which it is destroyed. While you have a Cleanse Tag attached to yourself, you gain a bonus to Perception, Intuition, and Focus checks equal to half your Occult Education Rank. You may destroy an attached Cleanse Tag to increase this bonus to your full Occult Education rank for the rest of the Scene.

Notes: Whenever a Feature states that you need a Cleanse Tag attached to yourself, it means specifically attached by this Feature - you can't just staple one on. The attached Cleanse Tag can be used for its normal applications, but it cannot be detached unless it is burned or destroyed.

Master Scribe

Effect: When making an Occult Education check to create or use a Cleanse Tag you scribed, you gain a bonus on the roll equal to your Occult Education rank. Additionally, you may use the Tag Scribe Edge a number of times per day equal to your full Occult Education Rank, instead of only half.

Veiled No More

Effect: While you have at least one Cleanse Tag attached to yourself, you gain the Blindsense and X-Ray Vision Capabilities.

Fluttering Veil
[+Defense or Special Defense]
Prerequisites: Tisserand, Expert Occult Education
At-Will - Free Action
Effect: Whenever you are targeted by an attack, you may destroy X attached Cleanse Tags in order to gain Damage Reduction equal to 5 times X until the end of your next turn. Additionally, whenever you declare an attack, you may destroy any number of attached Cleanse Tags. For each Cleanse Tag destroyed this way, you gain a +1 bonus on the attack's Accuracy roll, and the target loses 3 Hit Points. If you destroy 3 or more Cleanse Tags at once using this Feature, choose one of the following effects. Each effect may be activated only once per Scene:
* The attacker or target loses a Tick of Hit Points and becomes Suppressed.
* You gain two Ticks of Temporary Hit Points and may cure yourself of a single Status Condition of your choice.

Connected By The Veil

Prerequisites: Fluttering Veil

Effect: You learn the Moves Destiny Bond and Memento. Whenever you use Destiny Bond, instead of its normal effect, you may destroy a Cleanse Tag(it does not have to be attached) in order to cause up to two legal targets within 10 meters to become Bound to you for the rest of the Scene. When used this way, the Bound condition is removed if the target Takes A Breather.

Pinned To The Veil

Prerequisites: Tisserand, Expert Occult Education

Effect: You gain the Shadow Tag Ability. When you activate Shadow Tag, you may destroy an attached Cleanse Tag to Disable one of the target's Moves of your choice for as long as they are affected by Shadow Tag.

Banished Beyond The Veil

Prerequisites: 4 Tisserand Features, Master Occult Education
Scene - Standard Action
Effect: You may destroy a Cleanse Tag attached to yourself in order to attempt to banish one target within 5 meters. Make an Occult Education check opposed by the target's Occult Education or Focus; if you succeed, the target is Banished for one full Round. Before the target returns to the battlefield, it either gains or loses(your choice) two Ticks of Hit Points.

Note: Banished - While Banished, treat a target as if it were not there; it cannot Shift or take any actions with a Range other than Self, cannot be seen, heard, felt, or otherwise interacted with, cannot be targeted in any way, and is immune to all damage and effects other than from this Feature.
