- Abyssal RE-class aviation battleship.
- The RE-class are rarely seen, likely due to the tremendous amount of resources required to build even one warship of this scale. Additionally, as a result of their nature as aviation battleships, RE-class warships carry only half the aircraft a proper fleet carrier of their size would be able to, and share similar disadvantages to the Nelson-class battleships, due to their "all forward" armament design - a necessity to accomodate the flight deck on the aft of the ship. While the angling of this flight deck does limit the degree to which the conning tower interferes with flight operations, it does also mean that the ship has a much larger, and thus much heavier, armor belt when compared to other warships of it's size.
- Additionally, compared to other 18" gun armed battleships, it is woefully under armored, resulting in it lacking any form of immunity zone against even Japanese 46 cm guns firing non-superheavy ammunition, never mind the 18"/48 Mark 1 guns of Ohio-class fast battleships.
