It's clear that deepfakes are most certainly something to be concerned about. That being said it's important to know how to spot them. It was discovered by US researchers in 2018 that deepfake faces rarely blink given that most images contain people with their eyes open. However, as soon as this research was published the flaw was quickly patched. This presented a problem given that whenever an inconsistancy is brought to light, a signficant upgrade is made to deepfake technology.
