  1. If anyone wants to get faster, I recommend you learn the following in the order they are listed:
  2.
  3. F2L - http://youtu.be/IT5BPHEZGJE F2L is a faster method of solving first two layers in which-- oh come on, if you guys doesn't know what F2L is already I don't know what I'm going to do.
  4.
  5. 2-Look PLL - http://www.cubewhiz.com/2lookpll.php These are faster algorithms for permuting the last layer pieces. (In the Fridrich method, a.k.a. CFOP, orientation is done before permutation, but I find permutation more essential and easier to learn. After orienting the edges of the last layer you may either twist the corners or use the last step of your beginner's method to orient the corners early. These algorithms are special because they perserve orientation and move ONLY the corners/edges, so you can do them in any order.)
  6.
  7. 2-Look OLL - http://www.cubewhiz.com/2lookoll.php Performed before PLL, after F2L, in a solve.
  8.
  9. Full PLL - http://www.cubewhiz.com/pll.php This is what I'm working on. 14 new algorithms to permute the edges of the last layer and corners of the last layer at the same time. It's hard, and you definitely don't have to learn it if you don't want to.
