- Mugil Lionare asks, "So- what is this place anyway? A school?"
- Marchande dipped her head in a nod. "Thanks. I lost my memories so I need to recall a lot of things."
- (Marchande)
- Marchande exclaims, "This is an academy!"
- Mugil Lionare asks, "Academy of what?"
- Arthur Rowan says, "Pleure Academy of Valmasian settlement."
- Marchande says, "Lots of things! Magic, history, murder, religion.."
- Arthur Rowan says, "As name implies, I am oft--"
- Arthur turns his gaze to Mugil.
- (Arthur Rowan)
- Arthur Rowan says, "--Oft puzzled what are non-Valmasians doing here."
- Mugil Lionare says, "Traveling. Not that it matters to Valmasians."
- Mugil Lionare says, "Besides, this used to be Ardent. To me you're the intruders."
- Arthur Rowan says, "To me, you're murderers. The blood that runs in your children is the same blood that slaughtered my people."
- Arthur Rowan says, "I suppose we're at a crossroad, then."
- Mugil Lionare says, "I don't have children. I did it myself."
- --There was a sudden clutch of his fist.
- He personally did it? He, among many others, was the reason why their people were lost around Agartha for so long, wandering like beggars, living off eating insects, being miserable, if only to make their life worse by living under literal Demons in Aetherius?
- No. That can't be forgiven easily.
- Despite what Cho said, that past must stay in the past, it's things like that which caused Arthur's blood to boil, his heart to pump in adrenaline and anger, and his mind to be clouded with desire of justice. It was the point at which he was akin to a wolf, just waiting to pounce the prey.
- "...Get out."
- "Leave this settlement. I do not wish you to see here, ever, or you'll pay for your crimes."
- (Arthur Rowan)
- The old man shrugged. "Shut up." He simply said, not taking the young one serious either he goes back to admiring the buildings, as he alwasy did in Valmasian towns. They always had such good word and stone work, and did great planning their cities out.
- He took a second to himself, thinking if he should follow up, tease or be serious about it. But his mouth started moving anyway.
- "It's in the past. Unless you want to fight me yourself then you can shut up. If I held anger from seeing my whole tribe slaughted by the Valmasian and then Jianghu alliance I had to sit though because my Chieftan said I was too young to do anything about. I survived, she didn't, and only three of us remained." He turned to the kid, his face oddly very relaxed, still not serious at all.
- "That happened when I was 16. If I let that take me over I would not be alive now. I really wouldn't."
- (Mugil Lionare)
- The fairy seemed to hear, or maybe feel, the hostility raising from Arthur. He fluttered up from his spot near the lamppost, staring. Smiling nervously, the boy flitted over next to Mugil, raising a hand up. His flame-patterned wings flapped rapidly.
- "I... I see no point in forcing him out. If he comes here without want of harm, he should be fine, yes? So long as no malicious feelings are felt." He paused,"Which I cannot feel any, myself."
- (Asterial)
- Things seemed to be escalating! The panic of the girl took the form of twirling her hair nervously, staring between them. She hadn't yet learned how to de-escalate a situation but it looked like she had no choice but to try.
- "No need to fight!" Her tone... shifted slightly, but the peppiness was not suited for the situation. Maybe she couldn't do much better.
- "If you didn't want to fight, then you shouldn't have said all those things. So let's all be friends."
- Truly, a master of de-escalation.
- (Marchande)
- Blood begets blood.
- And the young one could not be calmed down so easily. Immediately stood up from his seat, he immediately made his way to stand against the Gehennan- no, his words is not something he took to the heart. It's not something that removed the years of pain, of suffering, of misery, of sorrow and anguish.
- And memories of all the horrors he's lived through.
- "You won't silence me."
- "Your people was the reason we were scattered across the continent like naught but a band of beggars. Your people were the reason why many of ours have starved to death, or died to sickness and disease."
- "Your people were the reason we lost our home. Your people were the reason why we had to live under Demons, who treated us as nothing more than just a cattle."
- "And your people are the reason why my family is gone."
- The staff was drawn. The likes of the Fairy that tried to intervene, or therobotic creature? They were disregarded. Neither of them could possibly come close to even understanding what Arthur feels right now, and because of that, their words were not even taken in account.
- "If a fight is what you want, draw your sword."
- (Arthur Rowan)
- The immense pain that Arthur was going through- The fairy might not have shown it, but he could indeed feel it. Empathy, after all, was one of his traits. He gulped quietly, shutting his eyes. He almost felt like crying, but he needed to try and stop this.
- "Mister,"He offered, quietly,"You… You can't place all the blame, of all this pain, upon one person. Revenge is not sweet." He raised his voice slightly, though it trembled,"I know, I know it's painful. You can't...- You can't let it get to you, though."
- He fluttered forward,"I do not know your name, but I know your pain. It is very deep, and you... feel like he deserves to suffer because of what his people did. However- D-did you... ever stop to think, that they too were oppressed? No one... No one has the life of luxury, Mister." He clasped his hands together,"You may think that it is not fair, but you should be able to empathize the most with what has happened. The wars, the families broken apart."
- The fairy shook his head,"I… I won't interfere if you really will fight, but I wanted to know that I can understand Why." He turned next to Mugil,"I… do not know why you brought it up, at the beginning of this, but perhaps it would be best not to do so again. I do not... I do not enjoy feeling the suffering of others."
- (Asterial)
- Like ants scurrying from a dug in hill, people seemed to seep from the tiles themselves at the first sign of violence. The girl felt relieved as she took a small back- her own meagre attempts weren't working very well anyway. Instead, her gaze turned upon the fairy.
- She wasn't too surprised to see such a creature- there had been dozens of their corpses in her place of residence, after all. They were a lot different than she imagined they'd be while alive.
- "The old man and the young boy are being aggressive towards each other. The old man said he had killed lots of Valmasians so the young boy got upset." she explained at dry length to Sarah.
- (Marchande)
- He shook his head.
- "I didn't bring up nothing, but if you really wana take your pointless anger out on me kid then so be it. I don't hold back anymore." He paused for a second, gripping the leather wrapped handle of his sword.
- "You caused this, and people like you are the reasons wars start. I just came to make weapons and enchanctments for people for free and you're all feely. Kid, get a grip." With that, he lifts the heavy blade over his shoulder, nearly doubling his own height and let not talk about his weight.
- He looks to the crowd that has formed... "Should somebody stop him or should I..."
- (Mugil Lionare)
- Sarah says, "He... killed lots of Valmasians, huh..."
- Alice Ostromov asks, "He fuckin' whot?"
- Alice Ostromov exclaims, "Disgustin'!"
- Mugil Lionare says, "Heh, you're idiots."
- Mugil Lionare says, "I haven't killed a single valmasian personallu."
- Asterial says, "Please, please stop. I d-don't want this."
- Mugil Lionare says, "But I was in the wars, I fought. But I promise you, you guys did much wrong to me than to you..."
- Marchande says, "It looks like some sort of contest! Is fighting here legal? I'm not supposed to get into trouble..."
- This couldn't stand.
- The words that he'd try to use to excuse himself, or the words that he tried to use to de-escalate the situation, none of them worked- Arthur was fired up, with the mix of adrenaline rushing through his veins in the boiling anger that was set upon his mind and his very soul.
- "ENOUGH!"
- It was a single leap, a leap of faith, that was already an intended attack against Mugil- if any were to stop him, they would have to act now. As for the man himself, he'd have no choice but to defend himself.
- Some sins are hardly forgotten, if ever.
- (Arthur Rowan)
- Another day, another Gehennan to be educated of their station in the world. To Ostrava there were few things sweeter than seeing a foreigner forced to bend the; that much had not changed in these last few years. His eyes attentively settle upon the group.
- The Fae's hurt tone provokes a bit of curiosity. Perhaps the little one's empathetic nature was more than just his personality; it certainly seemed to run deep, if it made him bold enough to stand before a bull in a china shop. It would be something interesting to reflect upon.
- "No getting involved, kids. Asterial- come here; you'll get hurt if you get in the way."
- (Ostrava Grauhimmel)
- Sarah merely stared at the old gehennan, clenching her fists and nodding at Arthur, taking a step closer.
- "I thought Gehennans being taught here was ridiculous, but this-" - she murmured.
- "Outrageous. Idiotic, dare i say - retarded."
- A soft sigh, as she puts her hands in her pockets.
- "A murderer comes here and mocks us, yet no one reacts?"
- Another glance was offered to Arthur, with yet another nod. The girl rolled her shoulder, as if to make easier access fot the rifle on her back.
- Precautions? Who knows.
- And with Arthur's jump, Sarah did finally take her rifle into her hands, but she didn't join. If anything, she'd just look intimidating.
- Unless he needs help.
- (Sarah)
- Marchande exclaims, "??!"
- The fairy swiftly flew backwards, letting out a cry. Perhaps of pain? Of worry? He buried himself into the tree, cowering.
- (Asterial)
- Honestly, she couldn't join.
- If it wasn't for the fact he seemed to handle himself and nobody else bothered to join and go against the foreigner, she probably would've uselessly failed somewhere. Instead, she kept her posture, moving to the side.

- First rule at academy- integrate, or in other words, make friends! Second rule? Don't get in trouble. Such were her instructions and she didn't really want to get in trouble for breaking the rules, especially when they both seemed angry about the exact same thing.
- No one bothered telling her whether this was legal or not. As a result? She'd dip inside before fighting started to preserve her sterling record.

- Mugil Lionare has sustained a grevious injury in battle...
- Mugil Lionare has rolled 4 or over: they may escape capture attempts (unless otherwise specified)!
- The fury of Rowan could not be contained.
- Utilizing the darkest, the most invasive arts of hemomancy, he took over Mugil's body to unleash the devastating whips of blood and water; if that wasn't enough, the scorches of lightning were constantly unleashed against Mugil, followed up by the shredding winds.
- "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!"
- Oft reserved, mannered and quiet boy was replaced by a furious Storm that the Gehennan had to deal with- it was the overwhelming force of pent up years of suffering and anguish that fell upon him like an avalanche, wearing him down and harming his body at every single possible turn.
- Despite being so young, he was already so powerful, and so... cruel. One could only imagine what a man he would grow up to be at this point, if he held nothing back to inflict such pain, such suffering on another.
- And as if any of that wasn't enough?
- In the end of a battle, the Gehennan was locked by hemomancy once more, the surging winds lifting him up in the air, and constantly gnawing, shredding at his flesh. To onlookers? It was a pool of blood that was forming under Mugil at this point, the crimson scattered across grass and pavement in unbelievable measure.
- "You will fucking pay for this."
- In a single flash, the overwhelming voltage of lightning began to shock him mid-air, surging through his wounds, and through his body that was covered in blood and water; unluckily to Mugil, such liquids conducted electricity oh so well--
- -- which caused only more pain, almost enough for him to pass out.
- The voltage stopped, and Gehennan was flung backwards against the tree, smashing his bones and likely causing the cracks; the scarlet hues observed him, twisted by rage and hatred, and a single mutter spilled his lips.
- "You won't silence me."
- (Arthur Rowan)
- The guardian ritual in this area has expired!
- You have left a Guardian Ritual: 15% flee roll penalty removed!
- Sarah had her rifle ready, to help out the fellow valmasian - but he didn't need any, it'd seem. Arthur quickly took care of the gehennan, Sarah was almost in awe of his combat prowess. After turning the safety on her rifle, she put it back on her back, crossing her arms.
- "Well, that sure is one step closer to having an actual VALMASIAN academy."
- Sarah studied medicine, and it would be GREAT experience to patch Mugil up.
- But she wouldn't.
- (Sarah)
- Seemed he didn't need any help.
- Mindlessly milling next to the tree, the brutality was... Well, usually it wouldn't be welcomed, but with the minor context given to the situation, she couldn't fault it. After such a long travel time, her idea of winding down however couldn't exactly be watching a young Valmasian man destroy ghosts of the past, literally and figuratively.
- But it was happening regardless.
- (Alice Ostromov)
- The old man did not have much of a chance against the enraged kid. His prime days have long gone. But it wasn't really important to him who won or lost this fight. It was self-defence at that point. His aging body tossed into the air and ripped to sheads. His sword acting as a giant conductor... it wasn't something he was not familar with.
- As he clothes ripped and blood spilled, it's not hard to notice most of his body made of metal, blood would seep out of the openings in his framework but the metal itself is pristine as if it's indestructable... Not often does he interact with Valmasians on a peaceful scale for this very reason and time and time again he offers service just to be attacked by some self righteous man who wants to play hero.
- He slams aganist the tree, limp. Although barely consious from the blood loss and outright beating he does manage to get some words out.
- "Good job kid, you beat an old man who's been making stuff for you guys out of my own pocket. You did it, you avenged the dead ones from -like- 30 years ago." With that he seems to just nod off.
- (Mugil Lionare)
- His resolve could not be shattered by self-doubt.
- As brutal as this beating was, it did not make him even flinch- it's something he's been looking forward to, in fact, and could only sate himself by actually indulging in the mind of fury that whispered for Gehennan's suffering.
- With a sharp exhale, he's looked at him, a frown deepening over his face.
- "No."
- "I've beatdown a savage who killed my people. A savage, who tried to downplay his role in war and who refused to leave after he was told to."
- "I've beatdown someone who personally admitted earlier he's killed Valmasians, and now, paid for it - at least some price."
- "Now get out, least you wish for me to take more than just a portion of your blood."
- (Arthur Rowan)
- "You're still an idiot. I've only supplied the weapons for the wars. You believe what you want kid. I can tell ya' I've only personally fought Jianghu, they have always been nice... Valmaisnas tend to rob and steal. Funny who the savages are." He graces his chin, the shreads of clothing hanging loosely on his skin and whats left of his exposed flesh.
- Surprisingly he was never build to fight dispite his looks and the people who raised him. His kill count remains null today. He scratches his side, before letting out a clam breath of air dispite his heavy breathing. "I only came to make some weapons and do an enchantment for that blind kid. But if you want to be a hero for today, I'll go. I'll find him later."
- He starts walking away from the town, but he turns suddenly and while walking backwards just just says with a small smile.
- "Keep hanging onto that past kid, it'll kill ya. Like it did with everyone else."
- (Mugil Lionare)
- Alice Ostromov says, "...Hell, he didn't know how 'ta walk out of his own demise right there."
- The fairy was busy shivering and cowering against the statue, sniffling and crying.
- "Scary,"He managed to squeak out.
- (Asterial)
- It's not something that he'd forget.
- But it wasn't Mugil's words that he remembered or took to the heart, no- it was the fact that he still persisted in trying to get the 'last word' in this scenery. Despite his constant attempts to say that he was never performing in the war personally, Arthur did not believe that at all- it's the ones that make up the most of excuses that must be taken in account, if anything.
- And besides? He's sold weapons. The very weapons that killed Valmasians. It was just as bad to him.
- A clench of his fist, and a sharp exhale once he's seen Gehennan headed out of here- luckily for Mugil, he was at the safe distance to escape Arthur after the fighting. With nothing left to say, the young Valmasian headed back, to rest.
- (Arthur Rowan)
