- <...and we thought we were heshed when the Orks started shooting those damn rockets of theirs at us. I've seen those things before, they are literally explosives on a stick with a little rocket engine, but I've seen those things kill Astartes tanks before.
- But then comes one of those Titans, those God-Engines the Cogheads like to talk about whenever they think we're getting too uppity. I'd never seen one in action before, so let me tell you--I can now see why the redcloaks keep lording those things over us. When that Warhound came onto the beach, it was watching some sort of pagan god walk out of the ocean. I swear, my teeth shook every time it shot that giant laser or took a step.
- The Orks fell back pretty quickly when the Warhound opened up on the sea wall. That plus the Astartes meant we captured the beachhead pretty quickly...
- -
- ...at that point, when the Ork Engines were coming down on us, it was pretty much up to the Titans, the Astartes armored transport, and a couple of our Basilisks. Anything else would have been a waste of time. Not even those Tung boys could have done much.
- Four of their Engines versus three of ours. I figured it would've been a tough fight, but then I saw ours light up one of the Orks pretty quick. I guess the Princeps knew what they were doing. It was the little one on the right--and by "little" I mean, "little compared to other Titans", damn thing was still huge. Then the Titans started closing in, shooting their huge hesh-off weapons of theirs. Our Warhound took a hit, but it managed to come back and wreck the big one it was tangling with. Then turned around and blew up a little one. It was pretty much over then--the last Ork got ganged up on and ripped up by those big Titan claws.
- As for us, we did what we could--no one can blame us for not trying. But to be honest, we didn't contribute much to the fight. A couple Earthshaker shells, but Maego and his crew missed their shots.
- At least the Astartes didn't show us up again. I heard their Spartan transport got a track blown off.
- -
- ...so now we're sitting around, not much else to do until the commanders figure out how to deal with the twenty-heshing five Ork Engines bearing down on us. We've got twenty Titans on our side plus some armor, and the most annoying Astartes company breathing down our necks.
- I hope it works.>
