The Kanto Cup Tourney

Ayo, It’s Apex Leo! With the release of Let’s go Pikachu and Let’s go Eevee coming around the corner, I say we take a revisit to Kanto and see which one of us is the very best with the Pokémon that started it all.
RULES
•	Kanto Pokémon only. If it wasn’t in Red, Blue, or Yellow it is banned in this tourney. This goes as well for Pokémon that are evolutions to Kanto mons. (E.g. Syther, Porygon, and Magmar are allowed, but their evolutions are not.)
•	No Mega evolutions.
•	No Alolan forms.
•	Banned Pokémon: Mewtwo, Mew, & Alakazam.
•	Banned Abilities: Drought.
•	Standard smogon rules apply (E.g. sleep clause, species clause, etc.)
•	In regards to moves and items, every item that isn’t a mega stone is allowed, and you can use modern move sets on your Pokémon (E.g. Wild charge on Arcanine, Defog on Zapdos, Etc.)

With all that said, let’s see how different the competitive scene would be if we only had the original 151 Pokémon. More importantly, have fun and good luck to all that enter in this tourney!
