The reason the principles talk is stupid, is it is just a subject-change where you ascribe positions to us, because you dont actually know what we think, what we mean/want, or anything about the related subjects. Which means you cant make insightful points, usually come in with your own baggage with regard to definitions and talk past us, and really it is just a way to avoid debating the empirical stuff you're largely ignorant of.

Ultimately it takes us from the world of forms into a space where having positions which were the norm for the West (if even as radical) are absolutely verboten because they can only fit into prefabbed absolutes (like collectivism and individualism being discussed when we're talking about not allowing infinite numbers of clannish groups and defending the demography of the least clannish)

  5. It is not meaningfully different from arguing about feelings. It has simply added arguing with definitions
