  22.
  23. 4. Tell us about yourself:
  24.
  25. I am an 18 year old college student, main interests being IT and the use of IT in business. This is something I am going to university to study further next year. I picked up PC gaming around summer 2014 and mostly played Arma 2 and DayZ and only really got into A3 at October time last year. I like to have fun but can be serious when its called for, I am easily approachable and im very active within the community. Outside of Arma is mainly college and chilling with friends or family and whatever other small activities pop up from time to time.

  36.
  37. 5. How long have you played Altis Life RPG?
  38.
  39. GTA has been my first and only home, I joined October of 2015 however did not join the forums until January 2016. I have played consistently since joining and plan on keeping it this way. I have never seen the appeal to move to other servers as I feel we have the most advanced Altis life server out there, which proven by the huge playerbase we have.
  40.
  41.
  42.
  43. 6. Have you previously played as either a cop or medic in Altis Life RPG?
  44.
  45. Yes, I am Surgeon Veteran in the NHS and I have played as a cop multiple times, at the time of writing this I am a SGT in the APC.
  46.
  47. I have played as DMT and NPAS and continue up until today as this brings out a completely different side to the APC.
  48.
  49.
  50.
  51. 7. How long have you played on our server and why?
  52.
  53. As I said before, I have played here for around 14 Months, and have spent about 2000 hours on the GTA gameservers and many more hours into other GTA related things such as the helper team.
  54.
  55. From day one this server has kept me here purely because of the playerbase, I have made countless friends and continue to meet new people all the time. It has given me opportunities that I never saw possible in a video game and I really can't fault it. There has been ups and downs but at the end of the day it's a fun way of using my time and do not see myself leaving anytime soon.
  56.
  57.
  58.
  59. 8. Tell us about your experiences with ArmA 3:
  60.
  61. When I first purchased the game, I did not like at all. I could not adjust to the shifty controls as I had been used to Arma 2 and it all just seemed odd. After my old DayZ mod community started to bore me I decided to start playing more Arma 3. I started watching Youtube videos on Altis Life and instantly wanted to join.
  62.
  63. After adjusting to the controls and getting more active within Wasteland and KoTH servers I learned more and more and the game became extremely fun. I much prefer the weaponry and vehicles compared to the A2 and I am glad I made the change over.
  64.
  65. I have tried quite a few different mods on A3 such as Exile, Desolation, Takistan Life and A3 Life but nothing seemed as fun as Altis life.
  66.
  67.
  68.
  69. 9. Why do you want to join NATO?
  70.
  71. After spending countless hours playing in the APC as well having the chance to lead a few of my own rebel gangs, I feel like I could make a good fit within the ranks of NATO. I have worked with them and against them, I like the way they operate and the respect they are given as a whole. As much as I enjoy playing as a cop and a rebel, I would like to venture into new territory and see myself what is like to work as a member of NATO.
  72.
  73.
  74.
  75. 10. What are your in game strengths?
  76.
  77. I am a strong helicopter pilot, I prefer to fly the smaller more amble helicopters rather than Huron’s and Taru’s and can always be counted on to be a pilot if needed.
  78.
  79.
  80. Combat, in short and mid range combat I perform at my peak I like to move a lot and keep an advantage over any hostiles by doing so. I can be counted on when it comes to pushing buildings and defending them and this is where I like to play mostly.
  81.
  82.
  83. Driving, I tend to know which obstacles to avoid when driving weak vehicles like SUV’s and tend to crash very little (cannot say the same for hatchbacks). MRAP’s I consider myself to be a semi decent driver however feel more suited to be in the back.
  84.
  85.
  86. Most importantly would be game sense. Keeping my head in the game and being aware of my surroundings is the most important part of staying alive, whether it be marking enemy vehicles to keep an accurate representation of the enemy’s location will keep not only myself but any friendly Bluefor players alive.
  87.
  88.
  89. Lastly would be communications, I like to have a chat but if it starts kicking off I can be counted on to shut up and keep them clean and efficient. I can whisper effectively in order to keep in contact with the APC.
  90.
  91.
  92. 11. What are your in game weaknesses?
  93.
  94. As much as I like the idea of long range combat, I have come to learn that anything above 1.1km will most likely not be a guaranteed kill and thus putting us at a disadvantage. This is not saying I can't and will not kill something at this range. I just prefer to be closer and would be more beneficial to everyone around me. Before it gets mentioned, yes I am currently a member of DMT however this does not mean we are always 1.2 out as you will know, it is more important to be moving around spotting in DMT and combat is never more than likely 1km away.
  95.
  96.
  97. I am sure there things I can be faulted on at times however currently I don't see anything else that I personally believe would put myself or others at a disadvantage.
  98.
  99.
  100.
  101. 12. Why should we recruit you?
  102.
  103. I am a very determined and hardworking guy, I am very upfront about things and will always speak my mind as long as it is relevant and that I actually have a point. As I have mentioned I am relatively skilled within Arma and know that I will most definitely be of use to NATO. I work well with others and I know some of the current NATO squad well. I feel that I can prove myself given the chance and will continue to work on myself at all times.
  104.
  105.
  106.
  107. 13. Do you work well with a team?
  108.
  109. Yes I work very well with a team, however I will work better with those I know better which helps when working with the same small team over and over.
  110.
  111.
  112.
  113. 14. How do you cope in a high intensity situation?
  114.
  115. Well, sometimes I can get a bit overwhelmed however im sure everyone will at times, I will always keep composure and make sure to keep focused on any task at hand.
  116.
  117.
  118.
  119. 15. How familiar are you with ArmA 3 weaponry and vehicles?
  120.
  121. I am very familiar with most weapons and vehicles. I know a decent amount about armour types, and which guns are best suited for which situations.
  122.
  123.
  124.
  125. 16. Have you read and understood the NATO Handbook?
  126.
  127. Yes I have.
  128.
  129.
  130.
  131. I have permission to post this application from a D/com, if needed please dont hesitate to ask.
