  1. Armor Monsters (Armons for short) are creatures from an alternate universe that are brought into our world via electronic devices. Each Armon has a unique power but is unable to use them to their fullest while in our world, where they instead take on the shape of smaller creatures. With the use of a ArmScan device they can take on their full form by combining with the person who they are connected to, called a “Wearer”.
  2.
  3. Armon fights can either take place 1-on-1 or 3-on-3. In official tournament rulings, the winners of the first round, which is 1-on-1 fights, are grouped into a 3-man team for the second round. The rest of the tournament consists of 3-on-3 fights. 2-on-2 fights are not unheard of but are not sanctioned. Armon fights take place in large open areas called AR-Zones, which are sections of the Armon world that have been artificially transferred into the human world for a brief period. Fights are won by knocking out the Armon itself, or the Armon’s Wearer.
  4.
  5. All declared Armon fights are regulated by the government in order to keep them safe. The ArmScan device has a built-in tracker that automatically sends out an AR-Bot to sanction the fight. The ArmScan is also capable of scanning in microchip-like devices called ArmChips that can grant boosts to the Armon during the fight. Only one can be used per fight and must be selected before the match. Also, before the fight, the Armon must choose one of its two weapons and is unable to change them. The above only apply to official match rules.
  6.
  7. There are four types of weapon classes, Melee (Short ranged weapons like swords and daggers), Ranged (Gun based weapons, ranging from light pistols to cannons), Heavy (Large weapons like axes, maces, and wrecking balls), and Long (Longer ranged melee weapons like spears and tridents). Every Armon has two (or sometimes more) different weapons fitting their combat style.
  8.
  9. Once an Armon enters the human world, via an electronic device, they will be attached to the human that owns the device. It is legally required that the new Wearer brings the Armon into a regulation station, where they will be granted their ArmScan device. All Armons are also legally required to have a “Locked” form, smaller forms they remain in outside of battle. A select few are granted amnesty from this rule.
  10.
  11. As an Armon fights in sanctioned matches, their rank will increase depending on win/loss ratio. E Ranks have only one a handful of fights, Ds have won a fair few, Cs have won at least over 100, Bs have won even more than that, A Rankss have won multiple tournaments worth of matches, and S Ranks have a flawless win record. S Ranks are allowed to remain in their true forms even while out of battle, and act as government agents. Even with this system, its not guaranteed that a low ranking Armon will be easy to defeat, as it depends entirely on wins.
  12.
  13. Every Armon is also granted an elemental affiliation. There are eight in total and follow a loop similar to rock-paper-scissors:
  14. Water > Fire > Life > Metal > Earth > Electric > Air > Tech
  15. Elements also grant boosts to Armons if they fight in their affiliated AR-Zone.
  16.
  17. The Armon world is split into five areas, each represented by a color. The Red Zone represents passionate emotions, heat, and consists mostly of large deserts and volcanic areas. Small cities have been constructed over it, however, leading to a varied population. Only the strongest are capable of thriving there, with the strongest being the draconic Flame Family, who have ruled over the area for thousands of years. Its Elements are Fire and Metal.
  18.
  19. The Blue Zone represents intelligence, water and the sky, and following from that consists almost entirely of an endless sea and sky. Aquatic creatures have made their home in underwater cities, while aerial creatures live in cloud paradises that drift through the sky. Blue Armon are highly reclusive, but have great minds, making them deadly opponents in battle. Its Elements are Air and Water.
  20.
  21. The Green Zone represents calming emotions and natural elements like plants, stones, and animals. It is mostly a large forest with tall mountains, rural villages peppering its expanse. The Armon who live there have clear minds and are able to read others very easily. This makes them more welcoming towards those with good intentions, but deadly on the battlefield and to those who seek to cause harm. Its Elements are Life and Earth.
  22.
  23. The Yellow Zone represents excited and happy emotions, electricity, and consists of a never-ending, always expanding cityscape. The residents lead extravagant and carefree lives, but they shouldn’t be overlooked because of this. A lot of yellow Armon are excellent at emotional manipulation and tend to use clever schemes and plans to get their way out of even the toughest fights. Its Elements are Tech and Electric.
  24.
  25. The final points of interest are Pierce Points and Shatter Points. Pierce Points are weak spots located in select areas of an Armon’s body. Hitting them with a weapon causes great damage to them, as it not only hits the Armon itself, but also its Wearer. A Shatter Point, however, is a singular, tiny weak spot hidden on the Armon. If this point is struck with enough force, it will cause the Armon to shatter, killing them. Attacking a Shatter Point is illegal, as it is considered murder, and attempting to attack one in battle will result in a permanent ban.

  28. Main Heroes:
  29.
  30. Flame Dracos
  31. Color: Red
  32. Element: Fire
  33. Type: Dragon Warrior
  34. Home: Dragros Empire
  35. Rank: E
  36. Ability: Flame Breath
  37. Weapons: Scale Blade (Melee), Drago Dent (Long)
  38. Bio: Dracos is the youngest son of the famous and powerful Dragon Emperor, Dragros, and as such sees himself as ignored compared to his many siblings. He wishes to be the one to live up to his father's legacy, and in a rebellious act against him, escaped to the human world in order to prove that he can. Dracos has a short temper and a drive to do his best, but isn't particularly intelligent and only really thinks for himself. Both luckily and unluckily for him, he ended up bonded with Abe Kosuke, who's intelligent nature compliments Dracos' own shortcomings.
  39.
  40. Dracos appreciates the human world, as he feels it is a freeing place. Something he especially enjoys is human world sweets, which are incomparable to any of the food in the Red Zone. While at first he only sees Abe as a way to get to his goal, he eventually starts bonding with him and the other Armon and Wearers that they end up befriending. This doesn't stop him from trying to start fights whenever he meets someone new, something that Abe desperately tries to prevent.
  41.
  42. Appearance: In his Locked form, Dracos resembles a small humanoid reptilian creature, with dark red scales covering most of his backside, and orange scales covering his front. He has a horn on the tip of his muzzle, and small black wings on his back. His tail is long, and is also tipped with an artificial looking spike, which is yellow and covered in smaller thorns. His eyes are blue, contrasting the rest of his body, and he has bright white claws. Height wise, like most Locked forms, he is no larger than a medium sized dog.
  43.
  44. His Armed form looks similar to his Locked form, but as one might expect, more armored. He gains pointed shoulder pads, and parts of his body become more segmented, like an armored suit. His claws become similar to the spike that was on his tail, while the tail spike has grown large enough to be used as a weapon. His wings have grown, but not to impressive levels. His head has transformed into a more helmeted look, with his horn growing longer and sharper.
  45.
  46. Weapons & Abilities: Dracos has enhanced fire breathing capabilities compared to the rest of his family, a trait he finds little use in. Unfortunately, he also has reduced flight strength, with his wings seemingly stunted during his forging. His wings are still strong enough to allow him to boost through the air, but he is incapable of full flight. His claws and tail are both very sharp, and can be used as weapons if need be. Being raised in a family of warriors, Dracos knows the ways of the Dragon Warrior, and as such is skilled at fights... but he lacks understanding of basic strategy.
  47.
  48. His Melee Weapon, the Scale Blade, is a blade made out of solid fire, held in a casing of volcano-forged dragon scales. It can cut through any material in both worlds, aside from the incredible material that Armon are made out of. It can fire out close range bursts of flame as well, and can be used to heat up objects. His Long Weapon, the Drago Dent, is a long polearm with the fangs and horns of an ancient dragon welded to its tip, giving it the ability to strike through most materials. It is only a mid-range weapon, but it has the ability to conjure a spiral of flame from its tip, an ability that can also be used while it is being thrown.
  49.
  50. Abe Kosuke
  51. Home: Japan
  52. Age: 18
  53. Bio: Facing depression after the death of his father, Abe dropped out of university and decided to live with his mother. A near-shut-in with very little social life, he prefers it that way, though he knows that it isn't good for him. His only job was as a convenience store clerk, and he had very little interest in the Armon fighting sport. All this changed when Dracos intrudes on his life, and he suddenly finds himself bonded with a hot-headed Armon looking to prove himself. Being a bit of a doormat, Abe follows along, and suddenly finds himself thrust into adventures, as well as a new social life.
  54.
  55. Abe is quiet and intelligent, with a dry sense of humor that he mostly uses as a crutch whenever he's in public. This leads to him generally being thought of as a jerk, but in his personal life he's kind and understanding. He enjoys the company of Dracos, but never really lets it show at first, though Abe is always the first to try and avoid in-fighting. Abe is quick thinking and can usually figure out ways to avoid conflict during a fight, something that matches him perfectly with his abrasive partner.
  56.
  57.
  58. Supersonic Eaglane
  59. Color: Blue
  60. Element: Air
  61. Type: Lightning-Fast Eagle
  62. Home: Sky Island City
  63. Rank: C
  64. Ability: Lightning Speed
  65. Weapons: Feather Kunai (Ranged), Wing Slicers (Melee)
  66. Bio: Eaglane is one of the High-Fliers, a group of high ranking soldiers from the Blue Zone, tasked with keeping the Sky Island safe from enemies below. While he was there, Eaglane fancied himself a hotshot, and top of his squad. However, his recklessness ended with him being shunted from the squad. He then turned to the human world, and ended up bonded with rich British teen Harry Renalds, and the two went on to become the next up-and-coming stars of the Armon Federation.
  67.
  68. Eaglane, matching his partner, is arrogant, and has skills to back it up. He enjoys showing off a lot, even when not doing anything. However, he has a kinder side to him, and will protect others that are in danger - as stylishly as he can, as well. Eaglane and Dracos quickly become rivals after first meeting each other, and become reluctant allies once they end up teamed up in a tournament. Eaglane is also capable of talking sense into Harry when his ego starts getting the better of him, though the reverse is not true.

  110. Rank: B
  111. Ability: Iron Wrap
  112. Weapons: Morning Hawk (Ranged), Midnight Jackal (Heavy)
  113.
  114. Weapons & Abilities: Rasola is capable of controlling the wrappings on his body through telepathy. The wrappings themselves are made out of a nearly indestructible and thin metal, giving him added defense while they are attached to him. The wrappings are capable of forming clones of Rasola to deal with other matters, or can wrap themselves around a foe into order to trap them, or give Rasola a minimal amount of control over their bodies. The wraps can be summoned back to Rasola at will, but he can create new ones if they are ever destroyed.
  115.
  116. Rasola's ranged weapon, the Morning Hawk, is a staff with a ruby embedded in the hawk-shaped headpiece. The ruby has the power of the sun within it, which allows Rasola to create miniature suns that act as projectiles. With significant strain, Rasola can also produce a much larger sun that radiates heat that only Red Zone Armons can resist, and that he himself is completely immune to. The Morning Hawk also allows Rasola to control any of the suns he has created, turning them into dangerous homing projectiles. The staff can also be used as a blunt weapon without any risk, as the ruby is practically fused to it.
  117.
  118. Rasola's heavy weapon is the Midnight Jackal, a large hammer with the head shaped like a stylized jackal's head. The hammer is unbreakable, and is strong enough that there are few materials it cannot shatter, the main one being the material of an Armon's own body, though it can obviously deal heavy damage. Powered by the moon and the night, the Midnight Jackal can create gravity wells on surfaces that it smashes. The gravity wells will slowly draw in anything nearby, and then crush them. If Armons weren't limited to one weapon per fight, this could combine with Morning Hawk's suns to create something devastating. The Midnight Jackal is the more powerful of Rasola's weapons, but decreases his already slow speed.
