On November 4th, at Shibuya Scramble Square in Tokyo, a signing ceremony was held for the three major title matches set for the November 9th Korakuen Hall event. Under the direction of ring announcer Rise Shirai, each participant signed the contract and shared their thoughts and determination.

Princess of Princess Championship Match
Champion: Miu Watanabe vs Challenger: J-ROD

J-ROD: I’ve watched Miu Watanabe’s matches on video and thought she was tough and amazing, but meeting her in person, I was surprised by how small she actually is. I was born to do pro wrestling. Every part of my daily life—training, eating, everything—is done with the mindset of a beast devoted to wrestling. Wrestling is a fight—it’s not some kind of fairy tale. I will win this match and take that belt home as the new champion.

Miu Watanabe: I’m Miu Watanabe, the Princess of Princess Champion. This will be my second title defense (V2) after my first defense against Yuki Aino at Korakuen. Since that match, I’ve felt an even stronger desire to grow together with this belt and to shine brighter. When I learned that J-ROD would be my challenger, I was honestly overwhelmed by her muscles and her sheer athletic presence—even just from photos. When I saw her in person at Shinjuku FACE, I thought, “Uh-oh, this could be bad.” I’ve always admitted that I tend to get scared when facing international wrestlers, so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. But I want to trust in everything I’ve built up so far and defend this title with confidence. If I can defend this belt, I want to carry it into the new year—into January 4 (Itten-Yon) and beyond, toward the March Ryogoku Kokugikan show. I want to keep defending this belt and growing stronger alongside it, all the way to Ryogoku and even further beyond. Also, if I successfully defend this belt, there’s already someone I want to face next. Last time I was champion, there was someone I wanted to fight but couldn’t—that was Yuki-san, and I finally got to do that. But this time, there’s another wrestler I clearly have in mind, someone who’s never challenged for this title before. I want to defend the belt so I can face her. Plus, we have opportunities to showcase ourselves around the world soon—Kuala Lumpur in November, Thailand in December—so I want to show off this belt proudly there as well. To make that happen, I’ll first defend it against J-ROD and prove just how strong I am. I’ll do my best. Please cheer for me!

Interviewer: Watanabe, do you think you can spin J-ROD around like a cardboard box?

Watanabe: Based on her listed weight, I think I’ve spun someone around that heavy before. But she’s probably the tallest opponent I’ve ever faced, so I was a bit worried about whether I could actually pull it off—it could really affect the outcome of the match. Still, as you saw in the video, I managed to spin her perfectly, even seemed to destroy her legs in the process! So I guess that’s one less thing to worry about… though, well, I’m still a bit of a scaredy-cat. But I’m glad I tried it rather than hesitating. Please just think, “Good for her—she could spin her!” I’ll do my best!

Interviewer: J-ROD, did you see the cardboard video?

J-ROD: Yeah, I saw it. It looked kind of cute and playful, but let’s see if she can actually pull that off for real. If she thinks she can do it—go ahead and try.

Interviewer: This is your first time wrestling in Tokyo Joshi. What are your impressions of the promotion and the atmosphere at the venue?

J-ROD: I was really impressed by the atmosphere. It inspired me even more to want to make a big impact here and become the first international Princess of Princess Champion.

Interviewer: Watanabe, J-ROD mentioned that you seemed a bit small in person. Do you still feel confident that you won’t lose in terms of power?

Miu Watanabe: People often tell me after my matches, “I didn’t realize you were that strong!”—so I’m curious how I come across right now. J-ROD is a total unknown for me, and I’m sure I’m also an unknown for her. I think that makes things pretty interesting. But since she’s been showing off so much muscle, I can’t help but wonder—what kind of daily routine does she have? How much protein does she eat? I’m super curious! Fighting someone I know little about is exciting, and since J-ROD is still such a mystery, I hope I can turn that into a positive for myself.

J-ROD: You keep talking about my diet and training—but what did you eat for breakfast today?

Watanabe: Huh? Breakfast? …Chocolate! ♡ Oh no! It was chocolate~! Kyururun~♡

J-ROD: …No comment.

Princess Tag Team Championship Match
Champions: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara
Challengers: HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki

Shino Suzuki: When my classmate Wakana won the belts, the first thing I felt was—while I was happy for her, I was also incredibly frustrated. Then, our fellow classmate Toga from Hot Shot challenged for the belts, and seeing my peers fighting passionately for championships while I wasn’t even in the picture—it really stung. Up to now, I’ve never had results to show for myself, and I’d never even dared to say out loud that I wanted to challenge for a title. But on the day I finally decided to do it, I managed to win my match. And right beside me that day was HIMAWARI. She’s always been by my side during important moments—we entered the tag tournament together, and she’s always there when it counts. After that win, I felt, “Now’s the time—I can challenge!” So I declared it. And even though Wakana’s partner is Kamifuku, not another classmate, I still believe HIMAWARI and I can win these belts together. We had a preliminary match recently where we lost badly, and Kamifuku’s big boot left me battered all over—but my spirit isn’t broken at all. On the day of the title match, I plan to take those two into a world they’ve never seen before. We’re absolutely going to win those belts!

HIMAWARI: I feel the same way as Shino, and I was really happy when she said that with me, she believes we can win. It means so much because Shino’s not someone who usually speaks up like that—so for her to say it with confidence makes me proud to stand beside her and go after these belts together. And this will actually be my second challenge for these titles. The first time, I went for them with Wakana. Now that she’s gone on to win the belts before me, as part of her official tag team “Uber Eats,” teaming with a senior to wear the titles… of course that’s frustrating. That’s exactly why Shino and I, as classmates, will challenge them with a bond they don’t have—and take the titles together.

Wakana Uehara: Our challengers this time are from the same class—the 2023 group. Since debuting, we’ve constantly been compared to one another. Things like, “So-and-so’s working hard, you have to keep up,” have always been said. When I won the 2023 Next Generation Tournament, I thought I’d finally taken a step forward. But then in 2024, I had to compete again and ended up losing to Haru Kazashiro. I honestly started to wonder if I’d ever be able to break out of that “class of 2023” bracket. But now, having won these belts with Kamifuku-san, I really feel like I’ve moved forward. This might sound a bit harsh, but while I consider my 2023 classmates—and all of Tokyo Joshi—a precious part of me, I have no interest in just staying side by side and getting along for the sake of it. So I’m not letting go of these belts. And Kamifuku-san—it’s autumn right now. What comes to mind when you think of autumn?

Kamifuku: Hmm, I dunno~!

Uehara: Well, autumn is the season of appetite, right?

Kamifuku: True!

Uehara: And when you think of appetite…

Kamifuku: Uehara!

Uehara: Exactly! When you think of appetite, you think of Wakana Uehara! So this autumn, we’re going to swallow up HIMAWARI and Shino whole—and win!

Yuki Kamifuku: I’m Yuki Kamifuku. Hearing all this talk from the four “classmates,” honestly—it’s noisy! Like, “The same period ×4, ugh, what’s all this?” I don’t have classmates in this company, so I don’t really get that whole dynamic. It’s kind of like those people at drinking parties who go, “We were born on the same day! It’s fate!”—you know, that slightly annoying, over-familiar vibe? That’s the impression I get. Anyway, Uehara and I have both challenged for belts twice before—against Hyper Misao and Shoko Nakajima—two wrestlers with long, storied careers. We won those titles from them. So we have zero intention of losing to a “tour guide weakling” and a “random long-haired girl.” You can go on about “guiding us” all you want, but we’ll go wherever we please. So stop saying unnecessary things. That’s all I have to say.

Interviewer: I’d like to ask the challengers—during the promos, it seemed like the champion team kind of had the upper hand. Is there anything you’d like to say back to them?

Shino Suzuki: Even before this title match was decided—actually, for a long time—I’ve been constantly called a “zako” (weakling). There was even one awful day when I teamed with Ivy Steele and Kira Summer, and we were shoved into the corner while they kept yelling “Zako midori! Zako midori!” (“Green weakling! Green weakling!”) over and over again. So I’m not just going to win the belts—I’m going to make Kamifuku-san bow deeply in front of me and apologize for calling me “Zako Midori.” Please apologize.

HIMAWARI: As for being called “long-haired”—well, that’s not going to change. I’ll be long-haired for life! It’s part of who I am—it’s my identity and my weapon. So I don’t care what anyone says. They said they’d “swallow us whole,” but I plan to bloom into a big, strong sunflower that they can’t swallow—whether it’s autumn, winter, rain, or wind!

Interviewer: Champions, what do you think of the challengers’ tag team name?

Kamifuku: What was it again—“Zako Long Hair”? Their team name doesn’t really stick, does it?

Interviewer: It’s Bumping gRitters.

Kamifuku: Ah, right. Yeah… doesn’t really leave an impression. Honestly, it feels like they’ve already kind of lost just from the name. Awkward.

Uehara: Pumpkin pudding? Sounds tasty!

Interviewer: And how do you feel about those comments, challengers?

HIMAWARI: Well, yeah—to be fair, when we first announced it, it was kind of hard to hear. And to make things worse, I actually gave the wrong spelling when I announced it… so yeah, maybe not the best start! But our tag name Bumping gRitters has meaning behind it. It comes from the word “grit”—spirit, guts. Shino lives her whole life with grit and determination. Even if no one’s paying attention to us right now—even if we’re like pebbles by the roadside—we’ll still shine. That’s what the name stands for. So we’re going to clash head-on and—well, I guess the first step is making sure everyone remembers our name! We might be getting a bit overshadowed right now, but that’s who we are. And we’ll turn all of that into fuel to win those belts.

International Princess Championship Match
Champion: Arisu Endo
Challenger: Uta Takami

Uta Takami: By winning the Next Generation Tournament ’25, I earned the right to challenge Arisu-san for the International Princess Championship. Challenging a senior I respect so much—someone whose back I’ve always looked up to—takes a lot of courage. But I don’t want to let go of this chance I worked so hard to seize for myself. I’ve come this far, and I’m standing here with pride, holding that feeling close to my heart. I want to face the match with full confidence and make it a day where I show sides of myself I haven’t shown before. This is a bit off-topic, but I really love ice cream—I often go out to buy some. For the past three days, I’ve been craving Papico (Choco Coffee flavor), and each day when I went to the store, there was exactly one left! I managed to get that last one all three days! So right now, I’m in a super Lucky-Happy-Star Uta mood—I feel like I can do anything! Please cheer for me!

Arisu Endo: Wait, what kind of ice cream did you say you ate?

Uta: Papico—Choco Coffee flavor.

Arisu: Papico, Choco Coffee flavor? Sorry, I had Häagen-Dazs yesterday.

Uta: That’s fancy! As expected of you.

Arisu: It is expensive, right? So I think that means I’m already winning here. (laughs) Anyway, Uta, you’ve got some really great weapons—and that’s why you won the Next Generation Tournament and made it this far. But at first, even though you said you wanted to challenge, you didn’t seem very confident. Honestly, I thought, “If we wrestled 100 times, I’d win all 100.” But after seeing you in the pre-match and seeing you today, I’ve changed my mind—I might lose once out of 1000 times now. Might. (looks at Uta) Still, at Korakuen, I won’t hand this belt over to you. Let’s fight with everything we’ve got.

Interviewer: What made you think there might be that one in a thousand chance you’d lose?

Arisu: In the last pre-match, I saw a new look in her eyes—the look of someone who’s shaken off her self-doubt. It felt like she’d finally started to believe in herself. And then today, she came here standing tall and proud. So yeah, maybe there’s a tiny chance—just one in a thousand.

Interviewer: Do you have any secret strategies?

Uta: Of course, I’ve been thinking of lots of things! And since I’m still in my Lucky-Happy-Star streak—getting the last Papico three days in a row—I’ll grab that one-in-a-thousand win too!

Interviewer: Arisu, what flavor of Häagen-Dazs was it?

Arisu: The one I always eat—Cookies & Cream. It’s super delicious. Everyone should try it!

Interviewer: How do you feel about Uta’s words of respect for you?

Arisu: Honestly, not many people have told me they respect me before, so it’s a little embarrassing (laughs). But knowing there’s someone who looks up to me like that makes me realize I have to show her an even bigger example to follow. That’s why I’ll keep running far ahead of Uta.

Interviewer: And what ice cream will you eat today, Uta?

Uta: I’m going to the supermarket again—aiming for that last Choco Coffee Papico!
