  380. Officer visited the ten American citizens arrested
  381. for transporting orphans. The group must appear
  382. before a judge February 1. The Americans are in
  383. good health, and an Embassy team provided them with

  387. 5. (SBU) As of 2000 EST, 299 American evacuees and
  388. family members departed Port-au-Prince January 30;
  389. a total of 14,062 have been evacuated to date.

  392. potential evacuees have been accounted for.

  433. indicate the flow of earthquake trauma has slowed
