  29. Corv R1
  30.
  31. * Monochrome leaves openings in Kirb's team, making them vulnerable to free hits
  32.

  44.
  45. * Redtooth fast
  46.
  47. * AG will use Monochrome as a counter
  48.
  49. * There is mitigating context that explains Kirb's examples of AG not opening with Monochrome
  50.
  51. * Maki scaling sucks
  52.
  53. * The Special Grade chart isn't reliable as scaling
  54.
  55. * Yuji scaling sucks

  86.
  87. * Even halved, Kirb's team dishes damage much more impressive than AG can handle
  88.
  89. * Koku is clearly fast and can perceive bullets
  90.
  91. * Koku hits hard
  92.
  93. * The Redtooth blood argument doesn't work
  94.
  95. * Koku's reaction to getting bit leaves opponents eviscerated not stabbed
  96.
  97. * Yuta hits hard, can heal, paralyze opponents, and redirect attacks
  98.
  99. * Rika will most likely stay by Yuta's side and he will open up with Cursed Voice
  100.
  101. * Ryu hits harder than Yuta
  102.
  103. * Yuta getting pierced by Yuji's knife isn't an antifeat

  109. Corv R2
  110.
  111. * JJK speed is still bad
  112.

  114.
  115. * Rika can't stop Corv's team
  116.
  117. * Yuta most likely won't open up with Cursed Voice as shown by tier justifications
  118.
  119. * Ryu is slow and so are his blasts
  120.
  121. * JJK piercing resist is still bad and Redtooth/WW have strong piercing
  122.
  123. * Koku's speed is still bad
  124.
  125. * Redtooth can drink his blood
  126.
  127. * DS piercing is reliant on skill, Koku doesn't provably scale
  128.
  129. * AG will use Monochrome
  130.
  131. * Diana goes unaddressed and is strong/fast/durable

  135. Judgements
  136.
  137. This match was mostly just focused on JJK/DS speed and Monochrome usage. I wish Wonder Woman and Redtooth were brought up more by both sides, but considering how the arguments on both sides relied on whether Monochrome activates or not, kinda made it necessary to focus on it.
  138.
  139. I think Kirb starts with a strong opener that dictates the following flow of the match. He's got a solid statpost, shows off the synergistic nature of his team through their ranged abilities, and calls into question against Ah Gou and Monochrome, which probably becomes the most heavily contested argument in the match. Corv's explanations and mitigating context along with Kirb's rebuttal to that convinces me that Ah Gou won't always be using Monochrome when he needs to and it's very unlikely that he would open up with it. I view Monochrome mostly as a counter that'll be occasionally activated at best.
  140.
  141. With Monochrome's activation called into question, I think Kirb's description of his team's opening moves is likely to go into effect and be successful. However, Corv calling Yuta's willingness to use Cursed Voice by using Kirb's own in-tier justifications against him was good. But, even without that immobilization happening most of the time, I find Corv's team still hard pressed on avoiding an onslaught of projectiles from both Kokushibu and Ryu, especially considering being hit by one guarantees being hit by the other.
  142.
  143. Corv's team ranged options is mostly just focused on Ah Gou's cannons, which I don't think are too relevant as Kirb points out that the large fireball doesn't actually deal that much collateral damage and also Yuta can use his powers to reflect projectiles back at Corv's team. Corv's team is instead focused on CQC and he provides solid speed reasoning for Diana and I guess Redtooth is kinda fast(?).
  144.
  145. Most of his speed arguments though is focused on trying to prove Kirb's team is slow. His initial claims are sound, but Kirb's rebuttals to them leave me favoring that his team is indeed fast. Kirb effectively explains away the arguments against Maki's speed such as size and shape of a rubber bullet being the reason why it's slower, something that isn't applicable to the bullet Maki catches. His defense of Yuji's speed worked too as he shows that no matter how you slice it, the feats are a good show for Yuji's evasiveness and movements. And I buy that Koku is fast too still as his bullet timing feats obviously do show him reacting to the gunfire and he's explicitly capable of perceiving the movements of bullets.
  146.
  147. In a close range fight, I still think Kirb's team is advantaged. The argued method of how Redtooth will fight is sucking Kokushibu's blood. Corv argues that Redtooth doesn't care about being stabbed but Kirb shows that he's not gonna get stabbed, he's gonna get cut in half. There are some arguments of Corv I do buy such as Domain Expansion is unlikely to be activated, Cursed Voice won't be an opener, and that Kokushibu's piercing resist hasn't been effectively proven. On the other hand, I buy that Ryu and Yuta have good piercing resist. Corv focuses on the single knife scan as an antifeat, but even if Yuji hasn't fully grasped the technique, I think the scan does show he did indeed amp his slash. That along with Cursed Energy reinforcement making you resistant to piercing and it also having good application to show the effectiveness makes me believe Ryu and Yuji can survive an up close melee. In close range Kokushibu still has strong piercing and AOE, Ryu still has his strong blasts and physicals, and Yuta still has good piercing and physicals, along with Rika as another brick. I don't think the durability of Corv's team is all that good to survive Kirb's team from range or up close.
  148.
  149. Kirb wins.
