  1. When The Lord In The Sun's consciousness degraded into that of a mere object, his will was succeeded by 20 individuals from across time and morality spectrums. They became known as gods, beings worshiped by mortals for guidance, community, and divine abilities. Out from the dark of the flame arose these deities:
  2.
  3. Sethan (LN): The god of patience, law, and wealth. An old, wise judge among judges.
  4. Zubei (LE): The evil yet fair god of tyranny, slavery, pride, and above all, contracts. Was once a rabbit that rose to divinity through his vast knowledge and trickery.
  5. Kokopelli (CN): The goddess of trickery, lust, and revenge. Held in high regard by elves and the exotic race of earth, she's more commonly associated with Elliacs nowadays.
  6. Cayden Cailean (CG): The god of adventuring, freedom, and especially drink. A drunkard sell-sword that rose to deity status by pure accident.
  7. Franga (CG): The goddess of dreams, skies, safe travels, and luck. Franga was a mere insect that far outlived her normal lifespan traveling where many men wouldn't dare tread. This eventually led her to travel the skies so far, she landed back as a deity.
  8. Meldum (LG): The god of hunt, farming, trade, and family. A man valuing simplicity and the old ways, Meldum is a humble god worshiped by those with a similar point of view.
  9. Tang (CN): The god of battle, weapons, and overbearing strength. It's said Tang was an ancient Vazul suit of armor that saw so many battles, it forcibly became a deity during Earth's rebirth to keep conflict going. It's said that if world peace is ever obtained, Tang would rot away into nothing.
  10. Sali (N): The god of Nature, Weather, and the sea. Sali is a giant, mighty tree with a purely neutral spirit housed within.
  11. Justice (LG): The god of her namesake, honor, rule, and valor. Justice and her many loyal knights lead one of the largest crusades in history to vanquish the forces of hell. After dealing the final blow to Azaron the Plated, she ascended to godhood.
  12. Avodom (LN): The god of self-perfection, history, and knowledge. A hermit that achieved enlightenment alongside absolute perfection of his body.
  13. Madyusa (CE): The goddess of Madness, Monsters, and Nightmares. It's unknown how Madyusa came to be, but it is known she was once a powerful demon lord, leading armies of malformed creatures to spread evil and insanity across the land. It's rumored she has a history with Justice.
  14. Invoker (N): The god of Magic. Taking on the form of a completely motionless statue, Invoker's true intentions and opinions, if he has any, are completely unknown.
  15. Zarkiniam (NE): The god of greed, secrecy, poison, and assassination. His history is shrouded in myth, and anyone who dares find out ends up certainly dead.
  16. Horbua (N): The goddess of fate, death, prophecy, and reincarnation. Horuba is completely formless, as she finds such physical forms to be unimportant in the face of fate.
  17. Azaron the Plated (CE): A now vanquished entity, Azaron the Plated came closest to bringing Earth to a red apocalyptic state. Before that could occur, he fell at the hands of the then-mortal Justice. It's rumored among his few remaining worshipers that his spirit still lingers on.
  18. Hijadesol (NG): The goddess of the Sun, redemption, honesty, and healing. She believes herself to be the daughter of The Lord In The Sun, though these claims are questionable.
  19. Tearyn (NG): The goddess of the arts, beauty, and romance. Tearyn was a cat that longed for the love and artistry of the civilized world, and spent countless years studying them. During the tail end of her inevtiably short life, Tearyn spent her final moments writing a play of her own. Upon it's performance, the play proved so unbelievably superb, everyone who witnessed it was granted holy power and Tearyn herself divinity.
  20. Gragor(LG): The god of Forgery, protection, and strategy. A magic hammer capable of flawlessly smithing any tool, the hammer rose to divinity upon flawlessly smithing 1 million weapons to take down Azaron the Plated.
  21. Szyr (NE): The god of Death and Disease. Somewhere in between an evil entity and a necessary inevitability, Szyr is the eldest of the gods, as given off by his skeletal form.
  22. Gora (LE): The god of pain and torture. Gora has no ultimate goal or meaning. He's simply a mindless machine who only gains pleasure through pain, be it through others or himself.
  23.
  24.
  25.
  26.
  27. DIRE BEASTS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN TALEROS:
  28.
  29. Orcs: Savage and violent humanoids who raid, pillage, and fight amongst themselves. Just about everyone is warned to steer clear of Orcish groups at all costs. Lately a select few have integrated themselves into society as servants and guard dogs.
  30.
  31. Undead: The vengeful spirits of time past are a notorious problem in the Taleros fields, especially in Casvanja and Greyshire. Any encounters with these beings are to be handled with care by a local cleric or paladin.
  32.
  33. Elliac: A monstrous female witch hailing from Ellia, or one of the many brainwashed men fallen to their temptations. Encountering an Elliac is to be met with immediate notification of the local law enforcement. Upon doing so, or if there is none nearby, one is to run as swiftly as possible from an Elliac. If neither are possible, one is encouraged to meet it with as much hostile force as possible.
