[21:21] Nakara says, "I've lost nothing."
[21:21] Benedict Delisle says, "Then you partially have business with me."
[21:21] Benedict Delisle says, "You're looking for sanctuary, after getting trounced by Asphodel."
[21:21] Rune Cloven says, "We were tasked with bringing prisoners of shadowmire to prove our loyalty. Here we are."
[21:22] Nakara says, "Incorrect sir."
[21:22] Nakara says, "We sought sancturary far before Asphodel's march."
[21:22] Rune Cloven says, "We began this task before that occurred."
[21:22] Benedict Delisle says, "Amusing."
[21:22] Mikael would seem to shrink further into his spot if that was even possible. Feeling all the pressure of the gazes cast upon him.

[21:25] Nakara says, "Thats to be determined, by the Overlords words."

[21:26] With the arrival of the others, the undead would awaken from a brief mental distancing - only to be faced with the entourage of entities that arrived. A nod of the head was given, his hand waved and the cracks around everyone were opened.

The fabric of reality was torn apart.

Numerous portals would appear, which led into the Lich's fortress - "This way, let's talk in my castle, yes - yes." He would say firmly, before starting to head out to one of the portals.

[21:31] The first attempts to capture someone was kinda rough but after the battle of Shadowmire it became a lot easier to strike in the chaos of everything. They were able to bring in two Shadowmire Denizens without much confrontation at all.

They made there way to the massive Fort that stood atop the skeleton of a dragon. The Lich indeed was a sight to behold, something Rune admired. He could only dream of the power Nidaz contained and it motivated him if anything to be even better. He wanted to aid the Lich and prove himself. He said nothing at first but left it to Nakara as he took a knee. Rune shot a glare to the two they brought with them to get on their knees as well.

[21:32] As they were required to do they had brought forth denizens of the Mire, In hopes that they would be given reprieve. Nakara had already known what would've become of the Mire and it was exactly why he made the deal with Nidaz.

"As foretold, The Mire put up nothing more than a few brutes, And the results? Almost all of their strongest fighters were slain in an instant. It is why myself and Rune sought better for ourselves and to survive." Of course they had only been order to bring back one of the Mire denizens but they had gone above and beyond to that degree.

"Atarox, Destroyer of Light, and Mikael another mutuant. These are yours to experiment with as you please Great Overlord, In hopes that you allow myself and Rune to serve under you. And at your command, We will do the same to the remnants of the Shadowmire that yet remain." After all they knew where they had all fled to. It was information that could be useful in the future.

Nakara had seemed a bit more mature than he was prior, while still young his mutations had become more noticeable and obvious, Yet his silver tounge perhaps what was most noticeable about him as he spoke with great interest in Nidaz and what he and Rune could offer to them.

[21:34] Mikael glances to one of his captors and figures if Rune has gotten to his knees, then he probably should too. Mikael gets on his knees and tries to avoid looking directly at the undead on the throne.

[21:35] Atarox would say nothing as he was lead into the great fortress that the Lich resided in. Pressed upon his great thrown the sheer pressure that emanated from this being was immense.

Atarox said nothing he would stare the lich in the eye observing him and his every move, a height that Atarox could not reach was presented before him.

Atarox noticed that Rune had got on his knees, he would do the same. Atarox slowly descended upon one knee and as he did he would look at Nidaz in all his glory.

He would wonder what would happen now

[21:35] Rune Cloven says, "Bare witness to his power Mutants..is it not something to behold. "
[21:45] Entering the portals, the entourage was guided towards the great fortress gates - which gave access to a huge hall in the structure, in which the throne room was located. The Overlord moved calmly, the metallic sound of his stride being the only thing emitted by him..

As expected.

Upon reaching his seat, calmly he would descend upon the black throne and his etheric flames would flicker - before falling over each one present. First about Rune and Nakara, who were the ones who brought him proof of their loyalty.. To then, a gaze was given to the prisoners.

A gesture of the lich's right hand was made, before ghostly words resonated from the entity - "This time we will welcome you, both of you.. Into my home. Your efforts have shown me that each one is very much promising, something spectacular.

Quite, yes.. Truly.

A given task has been accomplished and your devotion - as well as abilities were noted.. So.." A pause, which the necromancer would use to nod to the technomancer at his side, "Nakara and Rune, you will be welcomed with open arms in my town, my Pauper - we look forward to many good things coming from you both.

Mhm?

Now, for you.." Another pause, he to waved towards Nakara, "You will receive the classes in the future, in the weeks following this. For now, take the prisoners to the prison..

They shall spend some time there, until my wife arrives and make arrangements for both of them." What was he talking about right now? Well, they would find out very soon.

[21:51] Rune stood up as Nidaz's choice was made, he was grateful for the chance to prove himself to the Lich.

"If I may?" Rune took a few steps forward with a bow..

"I would like the opportunity to fight for you, if I can do anything further to prove myself please do let me know."

Rune retracted to where he stood before.

He would now fight for a Lich something that filled him with excitement, he wanted to watch as the Lich's Kingdom grew. The art of Necromancy was something Rune was greatly interested in and to be among a Lich for him was in honor in itself.

[21:52] Atarox would look onwards towards Nidaz, his occultic mana began to flare just a little, even though he stood no chance he was to be taken captive again? No...Not again, prison life is boring, he would rather do something else

"Prison...again? Prison life is boring"

Atarox would look at Nidaz while standing up no longer kneeling he would grit his teeth out of irritation, he couldn't really hold the feeling back any longer, he lost his home, his friends everything, he had nothing, it was like he was born a new.

"What exactly is going to happen to us...me and my Kin... I would rather live and grow in power, but I guess being brought to the Lich of all places shows my life is about to end."

Atarox wouldn't move from the spot he stood in, less the Skeleton guards would decapitate his head. The Brazen fires around the room would flicker showing the crimson color of his horns, of his back piece and of his eyes, eyes filled with hate and pain.

"This cannot be the end for me, I hunger for more"

[21:52] Benedict points to Rune.

[21:53] Mikael's throat tightens as he gets ready to speak. "If I may speak... I would like to swear my loyalty to you in return for mercy. I would like to grow in power. Even to a fraction of your own." Mikael stutters out.

"I would forever be in your service. I had no attachments to shadowmire or it's people since I only recently arisen... I would truly be sworn to you alone." Mikael says intently while looking to Nidaz.

Mikael's body trembles in the presence of Nidaz and his ally but he tries to surpress it. Hoping that he may survive and become someone worthy of being in the presence of someone so powerful.

[21:54] This was exactly what he wanted to hear, To accomplish this was what he and Rune had set forth out to do to begin with, Although sacrfices were made they prevailed in the end.

Nakara immediately drops to his knee, Placing a firm grip upon the ground. "You humble me great Overlord, I shall do all I can to meet your expectations." Hearing that he'd be taking classes possibly for the Riftmancy he intended to study amongst other things gave him great elation.

He'd always wanted an education, Far more than to be sifting in the smelly swamps of the Mire had always held him back from accomplishing his true goals. Had he the need to step on a few people to get there he wouldn't have mind.

"If you require anything of me in the meantime Sire please feel free to call upon me and I will accomplish it to the best of my capabilities."

[21:57] Mikael would stand up as quickly as possible to be dragged along by Nakara.

[22:02] "It's not all over, young mutant. Try to see this situation more positively, after all..

We're not monsters.." While answering Atarox's question, the figure would shrug briefly.

His fate was already sealed, but it wasn't that of death - for his uses were different, for those in the Overlord's court. Yes, for someone who commanded the undead - death was one of the few things to be expected from them.

Strange.

"We'll see about that in the future, for now you're a resource - a guinea pig for an experiment. If you demonstrate usefulness as well as ability to grow - you might join us.

For now? We won't offer anything." Coldly now he addressed the question from Mikael, before falling back into silence.

[22:05] Nakara says, "I won't apologize for this, Doubt you'll be treated badly but as Overlord said theres a chance for yas."

[22:06] Nakara says, "That said i'm sure you'll be fighting on our side before long, "

[22:07] Nakara says, "Myself and Rune will do our part to make a place for us in Pauper. So when you return you wont be looked down upon."
[22:07] Nakara asks, "Thats the least we can do huh Rune?"
[22:07] Mikael Heracleum says, "Good luck... I hope people will accept us..."
[22:08] Nakara says, "They can have their opinion. As long as we show results we'll succeed."
[22:08] Rune Cloven says, "I said what I said to prepare you two for this, its your best bet but wont be easy, hang tight."
[22:09] Atarox would look at the bed in the room and would go to lay on it, he wouldn't say anything, seemed like the first phase of the plan had worked.

Now all he had to do is wait

[22:13] All had fallen, Shadowmire was done and whatever was left was being hunted down like dogs. Rune was giving them a chance at life even if it didn't seem like it. This was the only way to reach to goals the needed too. Nidaz was a Lich and that was a power they needed to back behind and grow with so they could rule along side that immortal power.

"You two have been through much, think of this as a time to refect and think on goals. It shouldn't be too long."
