  1. 16:47] "Rajak?"
  2.
  3. He repeated as the name itself spoke volumes of who Issac had faced. A creature that was both known far and wide as a calamity.
  4.
  5. "Heh.. It's a good thing Saga has taught me a thing or two. As long as your alive, I couldn't be more grateful. But I'll make it one of my many goals to kill this... fiend. Who dared to touch you with their filthy hands."
  6.
  7. He canted his head to the side, interested how Issac followed the beliefs of Moxtli, even partaking in the ritual dancing and tournaments along with many others.
  8.
  9. "I'd like that, but what I would love is if you can help me with spiritmancy. I've come to the point where I can visualize spirits if I try. But other than that, I would like to know everything there is. How to speak with souls. How to visualize them, how to control them and everything else."
  10.
  11. "I also heard that I could create a mirror with soulsteel. Something I pickedup with Saga's lessons, but mostly from a book." he nodded. "If possible, I'd like for you to help me with the manner. To create a mirror with soulsteel that's capable with communicating with the dead."
  12.
  13. Elipihas picked up his hand before waiving it lazily through the air, "But that's for another time of course."
  14.
  15. The Aegeus's brow narrowed as he listened for each word, learning why Osrona had betrayed his departed father.
  16.
  17. But as he listened, he had little to no words to reply as he had already written off Osrona as a corrupted palace.
  18.
  19. "Well then." he clasped his hands, "What do you mean by Value? But it's good to know that your day has been treating you well. And I'd appreciate that."
  20.
  21. Sapphire hues turned, "Mm? What's going on Uncle?"
  22. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  23. [17:29] "What is it Rayden?"
  24.
  25. He say to his son.
  26.
  27. "Also spiritmancy huh?"
  28.
  29. The man would then relax and then tap his chin. "Well I can say that its possible. You need to form a bond with the spirits around the lands. First it takes steps one by one. The matter made him tap his chin.
  30.
  31. "Alright I will teach you everything I know step by step. And help you and teach you what most things you can endure and overcome."
  32.
  33. Though he knew many others would try to learn from the boy. "This stays between us."
  34.
  35. And with that Issac would go on.
  36.
  37. "The item I will of course help you make and your grand mother Meira here can assist me with the adjustments. Rayden can give you detail."
  38. (Issac)
  39. [17:35] "Yes. Spiritmancy."
  40.
  41. Rolling his shoulders, the Aegeus leaned forward as he pressed an elbow against the edge of the table.
  42.
  43. "And I would love to do that." he paused, "I'm sure that it may take some time, but I've been a prodigy since I was young. Always head first into my studies and quick to pick up on new things."
  44.
  45. Laughter escaped his lips as he'd welcome Meira towards the table with a wave.
  46.
  47. "I'm Eliphas Aegeus if you didn't know." he smiled. "But yes, of course these methods will stay between us. Everything from this point on of course."
  48. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  49. [17:36] Issac says, "He is Meia and Dallan son."
  50. [17:37] Eliphas Aegeus says, "It's a pleasure to meet you."
  51. [17:37] Meira Caoihme says, "Eliphas? Yes, I remember you. Pleasure to meet you."
  52. [17:37] Issac says, "This si your step grand mother."
  53. [17:37] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Like wise."
  54. [17:37] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Step-Grandmother? Well then, all the more better to finally meet you."
  55. [17:41] "Spiritmancy?" The topic immediately piqued Meira's interest, her gaze shifting between the three at the table. She had arrived late, who was interested in such a magic?
  56.
  57. "I've heard incredible things about the magic, I've been meaning to contact a practice so I could ask... questions of a spirit." So many unanswered questions could be answered after nearly a decade.
  58.
  59. "I'm pleased to meet you though, Eliphas. The more family the better."
  60. (Meira Caoihme)
  61. [17:47] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Of course, and yes. I'm also interested in the art. Looks like we'll all be able to study it together."
  62. [17:58] Issac would then go on the lessons.
  63.
  64. "Spirt connections are quite difficult. It takes not only effort but pure concentration and understanding of those who are here but not here. Establishing a spiritual connection means you will need to truly understand your own before you can advance to actual spiritmancing. Not all spirit mancers are pure of heart. Not all are bad."
  65.
  66. With that Issac would explain.
  67.
  68. "Saga and her former companion who name escapes me are very close to truly becoming spiritmancers. Though you need to form a pact with a spirit as well. When you are doing such a thing they have to trust you or you have to fulfill a promise to them. Deception can easily be a double edge sword. So tell me what have you learn so far from Saga?"
  69.
  70. Issac then think on it. "People assume that you always need to go to the spirit realm to do spiritual rituals but Mox is perfect. I can gain such info from the leaders if I ask as they know reputation as well."
  71. (Issac)
  72. [18:12] Eliphas already had a deep understanding of spiritmancy from a young age, mostly due to his high affinity of being able to see through the other side from a young age.
  73.
  74. But he was never able to control it at will.
  75.
  76. His father, Dallan, was capable of doing such a thing without even trying. So had his aunty Saga.
  77.
  78. Focusing on Issac, he realized that the sacred art seemed to run through his family; being the sole magic that seemed to connect all of them. Whether they were able to do it or not.
  79.
  80. They all had a connect to it.
  81.
  82. Lending his ear to Issac, he listened to the parts that he already knew, and the parts that he didn't.
  83.
  84. "How do we form a pact with the spirits?"
  85.
  86. His ears rose at the attention of what Saga had taught him.
  87.
  88. "She mostly focused on my swordplay, but I did manage to come across a couple of her notes. Along with some techniques that are used to communicate with spirits. Such as spirit dancing, the technique that the shamans of Moxtli do."
  89.
  90. "There's also things such as creating the mirror made out of soulsteel to view the dead, then being able to see into the otherside, also that it's an art of attuning yourself to spiritual energy, usually by some sort of connection that's made with the spiritual world."
  91.
  92. "Obviously through spirits or with the help of someone who helped you become aware of spirits themselves. I know that I don't need to be necessarily liked by spirits to gain the ability for spectral sight, or to learn the art itself. As there are good and evil spirits. Oh! Witches have spirit sight after all. So that drives that point home. Also, I was told that my father enslaved the spirits of the dead. Spirits that clung to him out of a desire for vengeance."
  93.
  94. He summarized.
  95.
  96. "Just that and a bit more." he'd laugh. "But speaking of which. If I could get my hands on an ore of soul steel. Think you can make that mirror for me?"
  97.
  98. His head inclined to the idea of Moxtli.
  99.
  100. "There is Moxtli, but I also know of points of convergence. Something that I've had my eye on for a while."
  101. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  102. [18:34] He would then rub his chin.
  103.
  104. "You want to form a pact well that isn't such a hard thing at all. Its about the effort you place into doing it?"
  105.
  106. He heard it was possible. Trials needed to be overcome more than likely.
  107.
  108. "You will need to see the spirits before you go to that step. Then once you are able to do that. You can work to find a spirit of sort who has lost their way. Though such things are not easy. (Suggest a event and build up to it)."
  109.
  110. Well he didn't want the boy using Mox for his own goals. After all it was something that took time.
  111.
  112. "Well grandson we can make the mirror and everything together as family for you. And you can use the object I gave you to help."
  113. (Issac)
  114. [18:49] "So to form a pact.. Is to basically communicate with a spirit, once that's done. So I'll just have to visual a spirit then speak with them to form a pact amongst the other." he nodded.
  115.
  116. "I'm assuming that these spirits will allow me to many more aswell."
  117.
  118. Such as healing the rips in space, the ones left my andromeda.
  119.
  120. "I see! Maybe we can get started on the mirror sooner than later." After he spoke to Yuki about purchasing their soulsteel. "But speaking about making things. I'd also like for you to make me a blade as well. A katana of sorts."
  121.
  122. He moved to pat the weapon at his side.
  123.
  124. "Something strong, something unique. Something powerful. Is that.. possible?" he smiled. "
  125. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  126. [18:53] Rayden moves a crystal and places it on the table. He uses his mana and channels it into the crystal watching it absorb the lightning. He then begins to explain.
  127.
  128. "Not too long ago I went to the spirit realm. Terraheim Ifritheim and Umbraheim were all in trouble. Fire spirits were hostile, ice spirits were hostile and even wounded me but Terraheim almost ended up completely destroyed. Turns out a collections of spirit was influenced by corruption and even turned this guy against us." A picture of Ifrit was shown.
  129.
  130. "This guy almost killed us all by the way. Was nor fun."
  131. (Rayden)
  132. [18:58] Issac would then nod.
  133.
  134. "For now my boy you should. Focus on doing things to get to such a foundation. I know my body is broken but I believe I can start getting back into shape to assist you both in things."
  135.
  136. Though was he capable.
  137.
  138. Issac look to the boys.
  139.
  140. "For now we focus on family. We haven't had a family gathering in some time. Lets just talk about such for the time being."
  141. (Issac)
