  1. When Arceus-Ghost takes His place on the battlefield, He is certain to frighten the opponent to no end. Few Pokemon can stop the haunting rampage of His Calm Mind set thanks to His outstanding bulk, strong defensive typing, and perfect coverage with Judgment and Focus Blast. His incorporeal state also allows Him to spinblock and beat all Rapid Spin users one-on-one, laughing in their face as their feeble attempts to remove Stealth Rock phase right through Him. Even if your team does not desire Calm Mind, Arceus-Ghost possesses plenty of spooky tricks up His thousand arms; He can run support, lead, and Swords Dance sets to varying degrees of success.

  3. Unfortunately, Arceus-Ghost is still, oddly enough, a physical being, and thus He can be hurt like all His other creations. Status problems from the likes of Toxic and Thunder Wave threaten to bust His sweep. Furthermore, His seemingly perfect defensive typing grants Him only two resistances, which limits His ability to set up against powerful attacks; still, He can find other opportunities against weaker neutral attacks like Choice Scarf Palkia's Spacial Rend. Lastly, Arceus-Ghost will often fail to steal His victim's souls through sheer bad luck, as He must rely on inaccurate moves like Focus Blast and Will-O-Wisp. Do not let these drawbacks fool you into thinking Arceus-Ghost is easily taken down, lest you forever be haunted by the memory of Arceus-Ghost sending your entire team to the dark, cold afterlife.
