  1. Sub Newsletter (May 2015; week 1 of 4)
  2.
  3. In effort to regain trust of everyone, I'm making this sub newsletter public. I hope everyone interested gets to read it.
  4.
  5. ▤▤▤ Lacking structure, which is foundation for success/gains
  6. It's been tough recovering from the gap of my family trip 3-weeks ago. My little brother graduated from Marines Boot Camp and I didn't play Yoshi for ~9 days. That break broke the already-lackluster structure in my day-to-day schedule. I had concluded a while ago that working out can compliment a stream schedule, but it takes work. I've yet to put that work. I have to go to the gym when it's less crowded (avoid the lunch runch, avoid the 4PM after-work rush). I have to wake early and get any non-stream errands done so I can stream guilt-free for the remainder of the day. I have to end stream with ~2hr to prep meals and be able to get-up-and-go to the gym within an hour of being awake. It all takes discipline I lacked tbh.
  7.
  8. I called myself out in February about it -- https://twitter.com/trihexx/status/567430819728211969 -- but haven't shown much progress since. Yesterday, missing a stream (when promised from tweeting about it), I feel like I failed myself. I fought hard to get the money saved up and opportunities to be able to stream this generously, & I'm neglecting it! This behavior is -not- an option. Not to get the gym goals I want, nor the speedrun goals. Both must be the focus of my day, not the "burden".
  9.
  10. I hated myself yesterday, but I woke early (5 AM), stayed up, worked out, and banned myself from Twitter -all day-. Sounds small, but I'm admitting I'm a middle-school-girl on it, it's addictive and I blow an hour+ on it daily (awful). That entire day, I wanted to tweet an apology about the no-show, but not being able to (self-punishment), meant I had to think about my actions & what I can do to fix this problem, rather than let it remain.
  11.
  12. So here's the schedule I'm shooting for:
  13.
  14. - Awake at 8:30 am CST (or sooner)
  15. - Morning cardio (15 min)
  16. - Breakfast
  17. - Gym (1.5hr max)
  18. - Post-gym cardio (20-25min)
  19. - Post-gym meal
  20. - Shower
  21. - 10+ ask.fm answered/all pending tweets replied
  22. - Stream by 2 PM CST (the dream)
  23. - Stream -OVER- by 10 PM
  24. - Use 2hr to cook tomorrow's food, and ensure any dumb errands done to get-up-and-go in the morning
  25.
  26. It's ambitious, but I almost nailed it today, and I feel amazingly productive. I accidentally got on this schedule destroying myself to stay up yesterday, and I refuse to lose it due to negligence!
  27.
  28. ▤▤▤ More structure in sub-related updates
  29. Starting next week, sub newsletters go out every Thursday (or sooner). Each one will have a small goal I've "planned" for a while to accomplish.
  30.
  31. So, next newsletter is "Thurs, May 14th | Goal: debut new posters (Fujino Waifu tribute & more??) to stream"
  32.
  33. ▤▤▤ 100% Runs Progress
  34. I took a break from runs because I needed more practice and runs were failing too often. I inteded to take a week off, at most, but have almost doubled that time due to schedule neglect. I'm coming back hard today and from here on, I hit the ground running, for the SGDQ Crunch.
  35.
  36. Be sure to follow along w/ my public pastebin notes (I'm literally reading these while doing pre-run crunch): http://pastebin.com/qyTC1jcm
  37.
  38. ▤-----
  39. ▤----
  40. ▤---
  41.
  42. ▤ Sub Count - 353 (I don't deserve that, thankfully you guys stick around. <3 Let's go!)
  43.
  44. Wrote this in a rush, definitely have lengthier, more-thorough newsletters after this & beyond. You guys deserve -at least- that!
