  1. Good afternoon Natalia,
  2.
  3. I would like to apply for the Quality Assurance Specialist position.
  4.
  5. I am currently the longest working member of the Airline Relations' Senders team, and I have been working in this company for over 15 months.
  6.
  7. Throughout this period I have been involved in almost every area of expertise covered by the OPS team (that is: claim assessment, fast track procedures, claim sending and airline assessment), as well as numerous additional tasks and activities, such as:
  8.
  9. - creating the Claim Form template for US overbooking claims from scratch
  10. - assistance in creating Automatic Airline Submission (making tutorial videos, testing, giving feedback)
  11. - inspecting and taking care of rejected e-mails sent from Cockpit
  12. - being a part-time Training Buddy
  13. - legacy claim sending
  14. - Greek NEB/Viable on hold claims sending
  15. - using the Undo button to revert the status of claims that are not ready to send
  16.
  17. Having been engaged in the aforementioned endeavors, I'm able to look at any improvements to come from many different perspectives. As such, I've been communicating with Product Team, Legal Team, as well as via Trello with my ideas for improvement:
  18.
  19. - download button in Documents view in CP (contacted with Jolanta Reglińska)
  20. - fine-tuning and proofreading of airline submission macros (contacted with Jolanta Reglińska and Ewa Stachowiak)
  21. - downloading multiple documents at once in CP (contacted with Ewa Stachowiak)
  22. - converting .jpg and .png files to .pdf format in CP (contacted with Ewa Stachowiak)
  23. - small QoL changes in CP functionality that resulted in not having to refresh CP after making changes in the Documents view in CP (contacted with Ewa Stachowiak)
  24. - color coded types of disruptions (Trello)
  25. - visible notifications in Cockpit whenever there's new info in the Airline Info view in CP (Trello)
  26. - several ways for avoiding mess in the Documents view in CP, such as greying out documents that are not relevant to the claim (Trello)
  27. - providing Assignment Forms with an audit trail to KLM group (contacted with Chrystel Erotokritou)
  28.
  29. I was also participating in the documents type overhaul with Bartosz Babiński and several members of the OPS team.
  30.
  31. In addition, I am very efficient at noticing little details. Thus, I've been reporting a lot of bugs and errors via JIRA and Trello, as well as by contacting the Product Team myself or through my Team Leaders. Furthermore, with my English skills to match, I could take care of proofreading macros, official notices, wiki entries, and so on.
  32.
  33. Having all of the above in mind, I believe that I will be a good addition to the team. I do realise that I am sending this application well after the actual recruitment process, however I only now understood that my coworkers, who have been working for a shorter time than I do, are doing much more, and that my potential is being wasted on sending claims to airlines.
