What is the WR?
The WR is 4:59:24 by docmob.

Why are you so far behind WR?
He's better than I am!  There are also some heavy RNG sections early on that I'm not resetting for good luck (yet) which in my current PB costs me about 7 minutes.

What is your goal?
My long term goal is to get sub-5 hours, currently I'm aiming to get below sub-5:20 before I start resetting for better luck on the ledge clip.

How do you get so high level early on?
It's a combination of 2 tricks.
First, you can clip through the door preventing access to the second part of Tephra Cave early (before the Ancient Machine fight), and get to Villia lake before the Mechon Invasion.
You can then make a setup that has a 6% block chance on Reyn (Technically less due to level penalties), and lure a Skeeter up to the ledge above Villia Lake, to perform a damage boost with a blocked attack to get up to the late game part of Tephra Cave.
Then by running into some Landmarks we can get to Level 43, and then to Level 50 a short while later into the run

Why do you go back to the cave to get more levels?
We used to do all of the cave in 1 trip, but splitting it into 2 gives us more Crystals, so we have a much better chance to get better gems, which saves time overall. Also the second trip in the cave is done with an extra quick step gem, which saves more movement time.

Do you have to grind anywhere else?
Yes, once in central factory, we take a detour to Farm.
The first Farm section is on the Bionis Leg, where we knock Gluttony Gogol off a cliff.
The second Farm section is in Satorl Marsh, where we use a despawning trick to kill Baelfael Gogols

What party do you use for endgame and why?
We use Shulk, Dunban, Fiora
The reason for this is those 3 gain the most experience in the grind, and so we have to grind for less time than any other party.
