"Ping-pon-...I meant supplies for here.."

Cy enters the room and shuts the door behind him, leaning up against it. He pauses for a moment, his eyes darting around the room before he lets out a sigh.

He fwoops his mask on, "Look...I know I'm not exactly one to judge anyone here...but I...well...ahhhh...I heard everything there, Renee...."

Renee's blood runs cold, her mouth runs dry, but she attempts to maintain her composure. "You heard everything... where? Exactly?"

"I heard...just about everything from 'all aboard' onward..."

Renee:
"You weren't listening in on my lunch with Maggie, were you? N-no, that would be silly, how would you even manage... unless - that's it, your clones!"

I know you had a hand in their escape and what I want to know is why and, more importantly, if we can trust you..." He shakes his head and strikes away the mask, "I don't know what they're up to, but what I do know is that they've hurt our friends..."

"Ah." She croaks. "So. That. Ah." Instinctively, she starts looking for an escape route, but there is none

Cyprien:
"Look, we both know you could portal out of here if you wanted to..." he says, noticing her glancing around the room, "...I haven't told anyone else, not even Morgan. I just...ahahaha...I don't want to have to doubt you, Renee, but with how it looks..."

Renee:
"So about that. You. They." (Okay, so he DOESN'T know how it works... probably best to keep it like that?)

Renee:
She takes a deep breath. "Can I have a sec?"

"...ever since we got here, I've been trying to figure out how to get out. Doing the points, jumping through the hoops they put up for us... just, stalling for time so I could try and work up a way out."

"But nothing. Not even now that we know the people in charge of the dang thing. We're just... trapped."
Cyprien: (( AND THEN I SLAP HER. ))

"Team R... they're kind of the opposite. Or Krys is, at least. They're trying to figure out how to keep it GOING. They have their own reasons, yeah, yeah, whatever. Agree to disagree. But y'know? They've made some progress towards figuring out how things work around here. They're the only ones who HAVE."

Renee:
"Yeah, they've hurt people. Is that their fault? That's just what this stupid game wants from us! Most of us here were at each other's throats at one point or another! It's not our fault!"

He sighs, "Look, I don't know anymore about this than you do...hell, I probably know *less* about this than you do..all I know is what I can see myself. What I can believe in. And right now the only thing I can believe in is the friends I've made. I'm not saying I trust Chase or the others, honestly I've sorta lost the whole plot at this point, ahaha..."

Morgan:
"I don't think I was feeling the chemistry."

Renee:
"I'm not about to turn on you guys!"

"T-that's enough! Aaah... What's even going on anymore? You guys keep disappearing, and then you come back all torn up... And all this Team R stuff... and the end of the week is coming up, and we still don't know what happens to the losers!"

Cy smiles weakly, "Then I believe you..." He places a hand against his head, "I have nothing here except the friends I've made..I'm just..I'm just some guy, some guy who was..just living some mundane life until...what? It's maybe been about a week? Who knows at this point...ah..I'm rambling.." Cy chuckles under his breath, "I just needed to know I could trust you.."

Morgan:
"Shh, we'll be fine, we've got this... under control?"

Morgan nervously sighs.

"... But really, should we check on them? I think we should get going."

Morgan:
"Oh gosh, what if they really are..."

"God..." Renee, too, breathes a sigh of relief. "I know it's a bad look. Flying a bit close to the sun. I don't even want what they want."

Nsyte:
Nsyte yeets herself through the portal, keeping a tight clasp on her keyring. She flips over to the first piece on it, a wavy, flamberge-looking thing, and rakes it through the keyhole, in and out, super quickly. She winks at Renee again while doing so, and then the lock pops open. Seems file cabinets ain't shit after all. She hits you up via text (So what all do you need, exactly? Got any place to store it?)

Punk-Ass Kid:
"You could say that. I've seen enough of your shows to qualify, by the metrics. I had been wondering why your channel had gone dormant..and now I know."

Renee:
(Messenger bag'll do. Docs on the teams, anything about how the game runs - if it looks important, we want it. Only got room for a couple big goodies though.)

Renee:

Morgan:
"That's really weird you get regular world shows in this place."

Nsyte:
(Gotcha!) She glances through some of the docs before stuffing them into her bag, (Huh...the Butterfly Effect? Ain't that a movie? Thought there'd be more important stuff in here, haha!)

Morgan:
"So, what's it like having him as your, um, big brother?"

Punk-Ass Kid:
"Less interesting than it once was. I haven't been out much lately. Perhaps you can change that? You and that Team R seem to be throwing enough wrenches to open your own mehanics shop."

Morgan:

Rita:
While chasing a pong that pinged a little too hard, Rita runs through the cafe, and near the office. Nsyte, though, notices it - she grabs as much as she can, and yoinks back through the portal...and then the ball rolls in after, leaving Rita perplexed, "Hey! Where'd it go???"

Punk-Ass Kid:
"I know of them. I haven't met them. I wish to, however... They remind me of the last Trial."

Renee:

Nsyte:
Panting, Nsyte shoots you a peace sign, "Haha...sorry! I grabbed as much as I could!"

Nsyte:

"How did the last trial end?"

Renee:
"Good work!" (What on earth...?) The ping-pong ball causes Renee a good bit of confusion, but she's relieved the heist went off without a hitch.

Punk-Ass Kid:
"Hmm. I got captured partway through, and only saw bits and pieces. But the final battle was...fun. Team Z was quite the powerful adversary."

Punk-Ass Kid:

Renee:
"I can get that off-site straight away, we can go over it later."

Nsyte:
"Oh, we can go over lots of things later, if you want." She shoots you another wink, then leans over the railing, "Hey! When's the fun start?"

Morgan:
"Captured? Excuse me?"

Morgan:
"Is Team Z around now?"

Punk-Ass Kid:
"Well, in a manner of speaking, yes. But you don't need to worry about them now. They're harmless."
Thrice:
It's getting dark outside now, and everyone is wondering where MT wandered off to and why we couldn't find him

Morgan:
"I see." Morgan peers outside. "Hey, what exactly happens at this shindig?"

Punk-Ass Kid:
"Tomorrow, you mean? It is just a regular party."

Polarity:
"There will be refreshments, and ticket prizes are easier to win."

Morgan:
"Hm, okay. Some of the equipment here seems a little extra for a party, yknow?"

Renee:

Polarity:
"Oh, you mean tonight. There will be a war, again. It is the only time I get to let loose. I enjoy it."

Morgan:
