My dearest Night Shade,

With the light of love as my guide, the feather of angels as my pen, and the blood of Aphrodite as ink, I weave my thoughts for you.

How my body sweats and trembles with desire, when my thoughts turn to your ravishing yet poisonous eyes.  The cold, callous glare you cast upon all that dare approach you makes my knees weak, and words get stuck in my throat as thoughts race to my mind:  Just what sort of terrible trauma could have caused someone to create such a frigid cage around their heart?  It makes me wish to embrace you like a warm blanket, pet your head and assure you everything is fine.

My last attempt to look past your Gorgon's gaze and melt away your icy shell might have been too bright and blinding, but I won’t apologize for my burning passion.  I hope that next we meet,  you’ll allow me to be the ship that crashes through the glacier of your true self, so we can drown in each other’s love.
