  1. Dear God, thank you for all the blessings in my life. My mother's evening prayer would always start like this. Tonight wasn't much different from any night, only this time, the words wouldn't come out at all. She could usually manage a 'Dear Gos. Shank you shor all the bessings in my life.' This was impressive, considering her always fresh, swollen and bloody lips. It was a good day for my father, drunk off his ass and he woudln't even have to hear the bitch's prayer tonight. She had learned not to cry, it only made things worse.
  2.
  3. "I humbly ask, please give my child the life I could never have." She would have to do it in her head tonight. Lying on the floor in a small pool of her own tears and blood was my 9 month pregnant mother, Lilly. Her only consolation was me. Every night, after her prayer, she would think of a name for me. She could never get it quite right, she decided to wait until she saw my face. Then she would know. But still, she had nothing better to do.

  5. When the day came, she was sure this time, I would be born, she cried and cried. No one knew if they were tears of sadness or joy. Maybe it was both. The moment I opened my eyes, my mother closed hers. She never saw my face.

  7. My mother was unloved, but I was hated. They named me The Unborn.
  8.
  9. I grew up with my father, he was a bitter man. He blamed me for the death of Lilly. Without her to beat on, he turned to me. I don't know how I survived my early years.
  10.
  11. How old I was, I had no idea. One day I ran into the forest. I lived in solitude, in the forest for many years. I was bitter like my father, I wanted to return to my village and kill him. I needed to be stronger.
  12.
  13. I was facinated by the power of nature. I yearned for that power. To learn, one only needed to watch.
  14.
  15. I returned and easily killed my father. I took no delight in it, but I felt it had to be done. The village was awed at my power and spite. They wanted me gone. They told me of a man named Troad, they said he was like my father. There would be a great reward for his death. I knew what they were up to, but I didn't care. I had no reason to live, I had completed my goal. I decided I would rid the world of scum like my father. I contacted the Leret government, and joined the chase for Troad.
