▌BACKGROUND:
     Evan was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil to a Korean psychologist and a Brazilian-American CEO. He had a pretty happy childhood despite how much his parents worked because they were always sure to make time for him and later his younger brother as well. He spent most of his time outside playing with the other kids who lived nearby whenever he wasn’t preoccupied with lessons from the private tutor that his parents had hired to homeschool him. As a kid, he’d always been a little more...fiery than the others. With a sharp tongue and intimidating features, he was known for being ‘the boss’. Not to mention, he had a gleam in his eyes that just made people want to listen to him. He was actually just a little punk who took advantage of the other, more gullible kids. Although, he did have a soft side and, believe it or not, still does deep down.
     When Evan’s little brother, David, was born, life seemed to just get better for him but not so much for his parents. He noticed the tension between them more and more as their arguments got loud enough for him to hear from his room. He was able to see the forced smiles and sugarcoated voices his parents used towards him and David. It all went downhill from there. The Knight household was filled with nothing but yelling and the formerly warm, loving atmosphere felt cold and dark. It only made Evan’s behavior all the worse and, instead of just a pushy brat, he became a force to be reckoned with. It was sad to see a kid, no older than nine, filled with such anger and...brokenness. It was only a matter of time before Evan’s powers surfaced.
     Little did Evan know, all of his parents arguments were almost always about him. Being two pretty influential people meant they always got the latest scoop on the governments activities. Miyoung instantly proposed that they get their two sons tested for anything out of the ordinary so they could “fix it”, especially when Evan began to show small, almost undetectable signs of his so-called power. She, being a psychologist, was able to pick up on these signs and didn’t want to take any risks. Arthur was very strongly against it, saying that it was cruel to put kids, let alone their own two, through something like that.
     At the age of 10, Evan’s baby sister, Maria, was born and, only months later, their family fell apart. He had increasingly grown more and more irritable over time as the Knight household became less and less of a loving home. He developed a bad temper very quickly thanks to this. One fateful night, his parents arguing had reached an all time high. He recalls hiding behind the door with David cuddled against his side and Maria tucked into his arms. The last thing he remembers is the moment his mom raised her hand to slap his father. The next thing he knew, he was waking up on the floor and his mom was cowering at the kitchen sink and holding her forearm and hand under the water with a solemn yet fearful look painting her features. Fearing the “abomination she created”, Miyoung left that morning and never returned, leaving behind David and Maria in paranoia that they were like Evan.
     A year later, the Knight family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to start anew in hopes of forgetting, or rather ignoring, what had happened. The already temperamental Evan only grew more and more reserved and distanced himself from everybody emotionally. Although, he did indeed show emotion. His sharp tongue and arrogant attitude did not cease to exist as he grew into his teenage years. He was no longer the generally soft-hearted kid with a rough edge, he became a full blown asshole.
     Being the new, immigrant kid made fitting in and making a place for himself so much harder for Evan. Because of this, he resorted to the only way he knew how to take charge: pushing people around. It wasn’t hard to find a gullible group of “bad boys” and make himself the leader. He stuck with that group well into his teenage years since they were more than loyal to him. With his group of “friends”, he was always getting himself into trouble and built up a daunting reputation as the bad boy and the player. People couldn’t help but to stare at him as he walked by both because of his attractive features and the aura of confidence that surrounded him. Let’s not forget that reputation of his.
     Although Evan was known for his less than perfect reputation and bad attitude, he still held a soft spot towards his familiar. To this day, he’s extremely cautious around them because he doesn’t want to hurt any of them with, what he calls, his curse though he doesn’t shut them out completely. His father didn’t dare to shut out his eldest son and didn’t give up on him when he tried to get everyone to just hate him or leave him alone by being mean and cold. The warmth his dad and his siblings showed him gave him hope that maybe, just maybe, he could change and be the good person he was deep down. So, for his family, he lets the true side of him show and sheds off his asshole persona.

▌PERSONALITY:
     Evan is the epitome of a fuckboy. A grade a asshole, he really has no regard or care in the world for anyone but himself and his family, minus his mom. He doesn’t give two flying fucks about her but he doesn’t tolerate people trying to use her lack of presence in his life against him. He is not a silent person and is always speaking his mind, whether he means to or not. He’s a very sarcastic and sharp-tongued person, having a vulgar vocabulary and harsh tone. He rarely ever is serious about anything that won’t put him at an advantage. He only ever does anything that will benefit him and uses other people to his advantage. The manipulation he uses to get what he wants is pretty easy to use seeing as he is quite charming and can make anyone bend to his will with one look and/or smirk in their direction. People just don’t say no Evan Knight.
     Despite his popularity in school, Evan prefers being left alone. He always feels on edge around people because he’s literally a ticking time bomb. One wrong move or word from anyone and he’s setting something or someone on fire. Not only was he cursed with the power of fire but, along with it, a bad temper as well. Admittedly, his awful lack of control over his temper is completely his own fault from his childhood in Brazil. That doesn’t make it any less frightening though. He can lose his temper without becoming a walking fireball but it’s rarer than a blue moon. He’s already an intimidating person but his anger only intensifies that. He’s either deadly calm or deafeningly loud when he’s angry though his calm-angry state is the one to be feared seeing as he’s likely contemplating up a way to humiliate you or make you suffer his wrath.
     Despite his fuckboy ways and uncontrollable temper, Evan does had nice side, a soft side he only shows to those close to him. He does have facial expressions other than cocky and smirking, expressions consisting of a genuine smile and care for others. He primarily shows this only to his family, more to his little sister though, because he’s afraid to be taken advantage of if he shows that’s he’s truly just a human and just as emotional, if not more so, as everyone else. The lack of caring he shows to everyone is the product of him caring too much. He doesn’t want to hurt anyone and, because of that, condemns himself emotionally so he doesn’t lose his temper and hurts those around him. He worries greatly for the other people in the world who also have powers seeing as they probably suffer the same fate as him, having hide who they really are to ensure the safety of themselves and those around them.

     - He doesn’t really like dogs, if his four cats didn’t give that away already, but he bought a Golden Retriever for his siblings when they begged him for one they saw while on vacation in New Mexico. He and David agreed on letting Maria name her; her name is Princess.
     - He and his family have gone on trips back to Brazil to visit family but he doesn’t like going often because of the plane rides there and back as well as the memories he has there from his childhood.
     - He refuses to write with a pencil because he doesn’t like how they feel in his hand so he exclusively uses pens.
     - He hates all carbonated drinks except for Dr. Pepper and Fanta. Otherwise, he only drinks water or lemonade.
     - He’s openly pansexual which makes both girls and guys swoon over him at the fact that he’s open to anything.
     - He loves to read all kinds of books, fiction and non-fiction, because he loves to learn about new things whether they’re real or not. He owns a bunch of them and has four and a half bookshelves full. Talk to him about books and he’ll never shut up.
     - He has a bad, bad smoking habit but he refuses to do it around his siblings because, despite his reputation, he wants to be a good influence for them.
     - Whenever he excessively uses his powers (uses them too often, uses a lot of it at once, etc.), he gets really bad migraines afterwards and hides himself in the dark in his room with multiple water bottles and bottles of Aleve. The record for how long these migraines have lasted is three days.
     - He loves to play Phase 10 and Uno on his free time with his family or anyone who is willing to play.
     - He dated a guy at the age of 16 after getting out of a relationship with a girl but he broke up with him when he found out he was cheating on him. On top of that, he was one of the few people he was one of the few people he entrusted with his true self, the one with caring, genuine smiles. Because of those two relationships, he avoids giving his heart out again and settles for going from person to person.

— This is pretty uncreative I guess but I had no other ideas.

▌HOW DID THEY DISCOVER THEIR POWERS:
     Evan first discovered his powers when he was 10 years old. He still lived in São Paulo at the time with his family. Tensions had been high between his mom and dad and, one night, they were fighting in the kitchen as he and his siblings hid behind the door watching. His mother raised her hand to slap his father and, the next thing he knew, he was waking up on the floor and his mom was at the kitchen sink nursing a severe burn wound on her hand and arm. His mom then left the family at the discovery of his powers, leaving behind his siblings as well. Luckily, Evan’s father refused to abandon his eldest son just because he was different.

▌WHO ELSE KNOWS:
     Evan’s dad, Arthur, and younger brother, David, both know about his powers. His little sister has no clue about them.

▌WHICH SLOT WOULD THEY MOST GET ALONG WITH:
     He would probably get along the best with EARTH HATER or MAGIC IS REAL because neither of those slots seem very loud or energetic.

▌WHICH SLOT WOULD THEY LEAST GET ALONG WITH:
     Either ICE QUEEN OR AIR HEAD because she seems like a person who would try and correct him on a lot of things and he hates being told what to do. The only reason he wouldn’t get along with AIR HEAD is loudness and overall behavior.


▌ANYTHING ELSE:
     I don’t think I really emphasized this but Evan is not a brooding bad boy. He always has something to say and it’s usually flirty, sarcastic, or negative and just overall something you probably don’t want to hear. He is rarely genuine with his words unless he really cares about someone.
