  1. BTC's judgements
  2. Verlux vs Ken
  3.
  4. Verlux Point #1:
  5.
  6. * Tian Offense Good, Izayoi Offense bad.
  7.
  8. * Monochrome fucks with Izayoi's offense.
  9.
  10. * Tian has spear and BFR as well.
  11.
  12. * Cao Cao has no defensive feats. Ah Gou nukes him by existing.
  13.
  14. * Huang Long has lightning and Chi Long has no lightning resistance.
  15.
  16. * Huang Long has resistance to Chi Long's fire attacks.
  17.
  18. Ken Point #1
  19.
  20. * Izayoi Offense Good. Tian Defense not good enough.
  21.
  22. * Izayoi's gift fucks with Monochrome before it can be used.
  23.
  24. * BFR isn't in-character and Spear is slow and not damaging.
  25.
  26. * Monochrome is an active while Izayoi's gift is a passive.
  27.
  28. * Cao Cao is super fast***
  29.
  30. * Cao Cao teleports + ganks
  31.
  32. * Ah Gou won't do monochrome because its not in-character.
  33.
  34. * Cao Cao has durability.
  35.
  36. * Chi Long Offense > Huang Long's defense
  37.
  38. * Chi Long has lightning resistance
  39.
  40. * You can't shock crystal.
  41.
  42. Verlux Point #2
  43.
  44. * Mountain Busting feats can't be quantified.
  45.
  46. * Monochrome Damage > Golden Gate Bridge Durability
  47.
  48. * Izayoi Squishy
  49.
  50. * Spear can damage just by existing.
  51.
  52. * Mutated Form Strong
  53.
  54. * Cao Cao teleporting gets himself waxed by the Mutated Form.
  55.
  56. * Ken's in-character argument has context which makes it so.
  57.
  58. * Ah Gou basically has a 50% chance he immediately opens with Monochrome
  59.
  60. * Ah Gou Lightning stronger than natural lightning AND can do damage to things that aren't normally damaged by electricity
  61.
  62. * Izayoi's durability feats are vague.
  63.
  64. * It takes a long ass time to Izayoi to recover from a BFR attempt.
  65.
  66. * Ken did not prove Izayoi can defend against monochrome.
  67.
  68. * Cao Cao's teleportation isn't quantified.
  69.
  70. * Cao Cao's durability feats aren't quantified.
  71.
  72.
  73. Ken Point #2
  74.
  75. * Mountains big.
  76.
  77. * Verlux misread what Ken had written.
  78.
  79. * Golden Gate Bridge is made out of materials stronger than what Monochrome has been shown breaking.
  80.
  81. * Izayoi durable
  82.
  83. * Izayoi is immune to monochrome.
  84.
  85. * Tian's physicals good even if he wasn't.
  86.
  87. * Blood Spear Bad
  88.
  89. * Cao Cao can win 2v1s
  90.
  91. * Ah Gou won't do what verlux is describing IC
  92.
  93. * The aspects of lightning that Verlux is arguing to be damaging don't actually work
  94.
  95. * Huang IC is not a ranged fighter.
  96.
  97. While I think Verlux did a good job evolving his own points and offering instances of examples of why his team wins and prevents their own loss, I think it is an error to claim that something which can't be quantified doesn't exist. "Bulletproof" for instance can mean a variety of things based on pure description but the majority of us have a general idea in mind as what it means, especially with proper context. That said "mountain" is something while having a "bound" to what we picture it as, it not being quantified does raise a point to Verlux. His intro being quite good and his points generally not having an issue to them makes his thing a strong contender.

  99. While I think Ken made plenty of good points and demonstrated fairly strong debate with plenty of avenues of attacking Verlux's points, I think he is hindered by one thing which Verlux makes clear. While as I said previously that I think equating vague to non-existent is simply and inalienably false, having your stats determined by a wide upper and lower bound is generally not a good thing. In addition, the mountain calc trying to prove the case really doesn't do it for me. There's too many factors to really put into place besides from travel time.
  100.
  101. Overall, Verlux imo made more good moves and less errors, so he takes this.
