  1. [00:00] This priest was abnormally strong, his command over fire magic was felt with each cold and calculative ball of fire that was sent her way, or even as every inch of the area they stood in began to be set ablaze from this man, her abilities to evade could only do so much, trying as she might to charge in towards the priest, her blade slicing through his skin, lunging her claws into his shoulder to reel around to slash at the back of his neck, though that had been a short lived venture, as the flames from around him had began to drive the girl away.
  2.
  3. It was too late however, her eyes now catching a glimpse of the priest unleashing a fiery flurry towards Zabo, clutching the man's head as he burned him as if branding a mark into him, the woman winced as the priest set his sights on her, he made quick movements towards her but with a quick throw of her sword and hurling herself in after she was able to slash her claws at his chest, not letting up for a moment despite the horrid burns she'd been receiving she had to be, relentless, if she wanted to pull out the victory, unfortunately the sweeps from her claws were not enough, the intensity of the flames dying down her stamina and preventing her quick movements. The priest gripped her head too the fire magi was surprisingly quick, as he attempted to attempt a similar brand on the woman, she lunged her foot into the man's chest knocking him back and only receiving a potent burn but nothing close to what Zabo got.
  4.
  5. On her feet she heaved, exhausted she looked towards the burning pyre only to see the nagual they'd been trying to save he'd become ash... but something important poked its head from the ashes a blue light flickered from the interior of the fire, burned and wounded her eyes cast themselves firmly on the glow before feeling the slab in her pocket pulsate this time at a much higher frequency and rate, she felt somehow... reassured like somehow despite these injuries their god would not have allowed them to falter here and with her now being so close to Zabo there was no doubt he was able to feel its power. She breathed deeply, she positioned herself on all fours, deeming this man's death as another sign from Ixchel, he was chosen...
  6.
  7. 'Will not fail Ixchel's will' her tailed motioned through the air ever so slightly and while she hadn't checked Zabo's injury's with his already ready to fight she was most certainly going to be as well.
  8. (Teuicui)
  9. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11. [00:23] {NARRATION} The Priest fought back, even if his strength was drained. Even if the claw mark itself drained him and transferred his own power to them, he was more than clearly able to fight back, making enough time for the villagers to come closer.
  12.
  13. And they tried to walk closer, his flames saving them from the endless strikes, while Teuicui and Zabo striked mercilessly at the priest and everyone who dared to join in on this.
  14.
  15. And soon enough, Teuicui managed to kill the priest. (How, you choose)
  16.
  17. And with that, his soul passed. His life was ebbing away from him at each passing moment, until at the end... It was notable. The same blueish hue, a floating stream of something towards the pillar of wood at the center of the burning pyre, its fire now extinguished.
  18.
  19. There laid the remains of endless beastmen. Ookamis, Kitsunes and Naguals alike suffered from this horrid fate, burning within this very spot. And yet, they weren't nearly done.
  20.
  21. The raging crowd of non-magi surrounding them had every intent to put them down, even if they could barely stop them from escaping.
  22. [00:26] {NARRATION} However, the fight did leave them both scarred enough to consider running away, even. Teuicui's burn was done yet again, however this time it scarred through her leg -- It suffered from horrible burns, her skin scarred while the red skin was exposed. Thankfully, a tangential blow.
  23. (-20% vit for 1 day)
  24.
  25. Zabo had the same luck. His own face was striked with endless fire, burning along with his whole body. This put him in a hardly bent shape, however... Nothing that Lax and time couldn't handle.
  26. (-20% vit for 4 days)
  27.
  28. [00:43] The woman was not going to stop, for each blazing wave of fire that escaped the priests grasp she met him with claws sharper than any steel made by man. She slashed and raked away at him, at his chest, aiming for the crucial and life ending spots she couldn't feel the weight of her injuries only her devotion Ixchel, that was all that had been getting her through it all, even now, even as the near endless torrents of flames lashed out at both Teuicui and Zabo she continued to press on.
  29.
  30. The priest was not without his own tricks however, releasing an explosion of holy fire magic burning away at them, despite Teuicui's closeness to the blast radius ,however, she was still relentless and barely unaffected by his seemingly final attack, perhaps her own prowess in fire magic had staved off some of the attacks potency. Nevertheless it left the man quite drained and with the priest hunched over tired she wasted no opportunity, charging for the man, villagers of all kind running to their priests aid but they were nothing but morsels to a beast.
  31.
  32. The woman reeled her hand back clawing her way through the crowd of flesh hacking away at them as though nothing more than lambs at the slaughter before encroaching upon the priest, faint fire embers shot out from around him, her sunlit eyes matching the colors, he extended his hand towards her, with one swift movement her hand moves and her claws lop his arm off at the elbow region, she doesn't know if he's begging for his life or perhaps even he could feel the pulse from the slab, nevertheless she doesn't care, his groan in pain does not sate her however, she does not feel repaid for the loss of life suffered. She picks him up her claws wrapped around his throat, allowing the nails from her right hand to slowly pierce through his neck, listening to him choke on the sound of his own blood, his eyes rolling into the back of his head and his body slowly beginning to feel more and more corpselike. The woman retrieved her claws from his throat allowing the priest to barely stand consciously, the final words he'd here from the beasts he tried so hard to extinguish.
  33.
  34. 'When meet Ixchel...Tell, his most faithful sent you'
  35.
  36. Her jaws opened widely almost as if unhinging, latching unto the priest's throat, not just the half but the whole thing, a dismembered head rolling at her feet before she allows the body of the priest to be interrupted.
  37.
  38. 'Dare... interrupt feast, will suffer same fate as man'
  39.
  40. The woman's eyes are dead set on the remainder of the villagers and it's clear she's about to open each one of them up and raze this village completely she knew Zabo would be for the idea, and as she licked the blood of their fallen priests from her paws she had to wonder if they were truly stupid enough to follow in his footsteps.
  41. (Teuicui)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [00:45] {NARRATION} The whole village yelled in rage as Teuicui finally said the last words that they all needed to hear. The torches, pitchforks and clubs raised up to the air as the hordes of non-magi stepped forwards and towards them.
  45.
  46. They dared to defy them. Even if they were magi, there were about a hundred or so non-magi there. A very precise strategy was needed on this case, at the very least, to be able to defeat all those.
  47.
  48. [00:53] The roared on still, Zabo and Teuicui doing their best to fight against the magi without much fail, though, as before, he once more is victim to the attacks. Suddenly, he's brought down, flames bursting away at his face, scarring him if only a bit and sending him to the ground. He huffed and breathed heavily upon the ground whilst Teuicui finished the job, his only problem as of now being the non-magi that were appearing. He breathed heavily, sitting there upon the ground as Teuicui feasted upon the priest, he could only give a small smirk at such an accomplishment being finished. "W-Well done." he'd say tiredly before looking over at his surroundings, the many that were now around the two of them, both having already gone through so many battles. Even if they were non-magi, their numbers is what gave them their current strength.
  49.
  50. He'd attempt to stand, though he hadn't the strength, not right now when he wasn't even fighting. He merely moved onto his knee's, blood dripping from his arm still and he seeming more and more fatigued by the second. He was feeling the need to leave, to simply go elsewhere at this point, though, Teuicui spoke, and such brought the fire back into the Nagual.
  51.
  52. "They've interrupted nothing, Teuicui." he suddenly says, talking loudly as to allow all of those around to hear. "These people too....They who supported this, who watched and chanted for it, who awaited the days until this very moment." A glance was given to the charred Nagual body, he winced in anger. "They too were marked, they too shall realize their destinies. Ixchel will guide their souls." with that, he took his blade, slowly rising up, lightning magic steadily crackling around him.
  53.
  54. Still, big talk wasn't much of a plan, they needed something to do, and quickly! "T-Teuicui...." he began to call to her now, keeping his voice low a bit so the non-magi hadn'tcaught on to the plan apparently. "If...If you can create a wave of flames.....Do it. In any direction..." she was no spiritual magi fighter, so the flames she created wasn't going to be all-mighty and scorching all the lands, sure, but she could still make enough to stop a few in an instance before they charged, right?
  55.
  56. "I will...Do my best as well..." he said in a huff, soon after even using his own lightning magic in order to cause random strikes around the two, focusing on where the non-magi had been though. How many would be hit was unknown to even Zabo. This entire strategy was simply to lessen the numbers before the non-magi actually charged forward and began their attack. Something to at least help the two naguals out.
  57. (Zabo)
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59.
  60. [01:03] Despite their overwhelming numbers and her and Zabo's mounting injuries, she found herself standing with a sense of pride, labored breathing and heavy bits of burn marks along her skin, she was not in the best of conditions but her years of being in the Atl had taught her long ago that injuries were nothing the real strength came from within the fighter.
  61.
  62. Blood trickled from Zabo as he spoke trying to formulate a plan in the heat of the moment, the blood trickling from him and it was becoming apparent that he wasn't going to last much longer either. He wanted her to create a wave of fire to damage some of the villagers but that would only do so much for so little, they needed something else... They needed a saf...
  63.
  64. 'House...' the woman mumbled under her breath, shifting her attention around and trying to find the loose buildings, the rocks were still falling from them and with the rumbling from the fight with the priest they seemed to only need one final push.
  65.
  66. The flames that danced around the woman swarmed in her palms, while Zabo shot bolts of electricity at them she blitzed a series of fireballs some far larger than the other and the waves of fire that collided with the building had certainly rocked it enough, she smirked a little as the confident villagers likely laughed at the woman's misfire. They would have certainly been surprised by the mass chunks of rock and build material that would be falling upon them, hopefully thinning the herd enough or for that matter fully.
  67. (Teuicui)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. [01:08] {NARRATION} The destruction and crumbling of houses is barely enough to make the villagers back out. However, even if they mostly do that, this stops at least the reinforcements from coming, with a sizeable portion being crushed under the stones that befell on their heads, reduced to nothing but a gory mess of blood and meat.
  71.
  72. What remained were only a few non-magi, scared to hell. Most of these began to run away, while a few remained behind to save the others from a much worse fate. Almost as if presenting themselves as sacrifices.
  73.
  74. But now, at the very least, they wouldn't attack you. The duo was free to do whatever they wanted, the extinguished pyre right at their side.
  75. [01:20] With them still a bit back and the stones reigning down the woman smiles, as each hunk of solid stone practically levelled their small army into nothing but scattering ants, the few that wanted to leave were left to, cowards had no place in fillings Ixchel's stomach. However, the remaining brave ones, the ones who attempted to pull the mangled corpses of their friends from the stone piled up atop of them, they were a fitting meal for their God, and certainly would make as an appeasing sacrifice.
  76.
  77. Her tongue licked at her lips as she watched some of them with their backs turned towards Zabo and Teuicui, the fools, had they thought these two to have kindness in their heart? Were they to merely allow lives to be saved, lives that have spilled the blood of their people on who knows how many occasions.
  78.
  79. 'No...'
  80.
  81. She was going to ensure that all that was left was piles of torn out entrails and blood smatters over loose stone, and the corpses of all those who deemed what happened here as right, all of them would find themselves in Ixchel's graces on this night, and what a beautiful night it was, the woman took a moment to inhale as her eyes met up with the moon, a gift from their God, showing that he was always with them even when things had seemed most dark.
  82.
  83. She would likely now use what little bits of mana she could to conjure flames towards the rubble and those underneath, preventing any assistance and perhaps catching a few of the remaining non magi with some of the shots as well, it was merely a warmup for the rest of them to be greeted with their demise.
  84. (Teuicui)
  85. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  86.
  87. [01:21] Zabo watched, the gang of non-magi soon finding their way underneath the stone, zapped by magic, and burned. Those lucky enough to flee did just that, and had Zabo had both of his legs actually working he'd go chasing after them. Sadly, he didn't. He began to lower himself back onto the ground, breathing heavily still as he had to endure the pain for some time longer. It was hard to do no doubt, but at aleast all of this wasn't for nothing. He looked towards Teuicui first.
  88.
  89. "This is....Ixchel's will." he said before suddenly jabbing his blade back into the ground, forcing himself up onto his feet once again. It was more than a struggle these two had been through, this was damn near hell. Still, for Ixchel, it had been worth it. He'd soon make his way over to the Nagual who'd been burnt already, saving him was something that seemed out of their reach...sad. "I'm....I'm sorry." he suddenly said as he now hovered over the dead Nagual, feeling somewhat sorrowful for their death, though Teuicui had been his teacher...He understood a Nagual's death.
  90.
  91. "May Ixchel guide you, kin." and with that, he'd turn, a glance given to the small few that still stayed around before he'd focus back upon the pillar. A shout given to the few non-magi that were still around. "THIS is over!" he exclaimed, lightning soon seen gathering at his hand which he could hardly hold up to focus upon the pillar.
  92.
  93. "No more of Ixchel's blessed one's will be placed here, no longer will -this- continue to go on. This is not only the end of the torture and pain you've caused our people...." he huffed a bit more, stumbling even as it seems he was in great pain from the amount of injuries he sustained, still he continued. "It is the rise of Naguals. Ixchel's blessed shall rise from the shadow's and place Ixchel's will upon the lands, wanted or not!" with that, a sudden bolt of lightning would go for the pillar, hoping to break it in half, causing it to tip over.
  94.
  95. Whatever it had been, it was no Ixchel blessed item or something of that sort. Was it gathering souls? Why did it suddenly glow when the Nagual had died, what purpose did the pillar have? Either way, Zabo did not like it, and if the pillar was storing souls rather than allowing Ixchel to do his own deed with them, it had to be destroyed. After it was destroyed, if Zabo was able to, he would move, going to sit down now in order to rest.
  96. (Zabo)
  97. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  98.
  99. [01:31] {NARRATION} Teuicui quickly culled the remaining numbers, even if her mana effort was made to kill those who were already dead. Perhaps such was her hatred, that she thought of it necessary of being done again and again.
  100.
  101. However, while she did that... Zabo focused on the pillar, who drained the souls of the nearby magi. Those powerful enough to attract the attention of a gem, briefly exposed in its glowing blue color as Zabo's lightning parted through it, stored inside the pillar.
  102.
  103. However, Zabo's attitude was of no use. The gem was quickly ripped afterwards, too conductive to stay together. With it, the souls were released, and finally they had come to the final results of the night.
  104.
  105. The brittle moonstone still glowed as the purist's blood swarmed over it, draining it slightly. And as the pillar released the souls, the moonstone enforced their departure.
  106.
  107. And besides that, the few gold and trinkets that they could find. But most importantly, what they left behind was a lasting message. A village, bathed in blood and turned to rubble, witness to the might of the Naguals, who reveled in such battle.
  108.
  109. Even so... That moonstone was powerful. It filled any nagual with courage and the strength of Ixchel, but its power seemed to be diminishing, each time falling down closer to rubble.
  110.
  111. Now, all they had left to do was go back.
