  3. It's been three months now. Three months since he finally learned the two elements that he's been dying at learning and always attempted to learn many times over. It was hard and tasking. But! It was also totally worth it in the end. Smiling like a boy who just recieved the word to recieve all the candy in the world.
  4.
  5. Giggling to himself, he's learned out to shoot out a torret of water (Even though it was small ). Was able to form a whip and even cause water to form around himself! Even though he needed to gather it from a source.... He still found it cool! It didn't bother him at all that he couldn't just summon it from thin air or root it out from the ground. In due time. He was sure to learn all of that! But as of now. He was steadfast on learning Ice magic as fast as possible. Then! He'd surely feel accomplished. He could finally change how people looked at Drakanites then

  7. Wulfric quietly walked along the cobble street, heading towards the marketplace. His expression was grim and stoic, as usual, though not indicative of any particular mood. In fact, today had been a comparitively better day than most. So with a calm but blank face he trodded along, his long cloak swishing with every movement. He stopped for a moment to examine a nearby boy practicing water magic, and stood silently as he observed the training. After a fair amount of time had passed, he spoke.
  8.
  9. "Hello there," he said with a curt nod to the boy. "Quite skilled there, aren't you?" he offered a grin, albeit feint. Wulfric himself likely appeared somewhat off-putting, being older than the child and draped in black. His scar or gaze didn't help the situation either. Still, his intentions seemed pure and he spoke with a kind voice. He stood silently as he awaited a response.

  11. The encounter.
  12.
  13. As Kyo kept on at it. Kept on doing his usual thing as he praticed about and caused water to floatin around him then twirl off into the near sky. A person passing by had seemed to notice him actually attempting his feats at water magic!
  14.
  15. Excited, he smiled and became rather a extrovert instead of his usually introvert and spoke out instead of being wary of the stranger. "Hahaha! I wish. I just started. Image what I could do if I had years of pratice!?" he exclaimed as he brought together each of everythings single drop of water that surrounded him and the water art that he displayed in the air. He conjoined it into a ball and compressed it into a small orb before shooting it out across the lake! Causing the surface of the water to part a bit as his beam neared it.
  16.
  17. Sweating and exhausted. He still smiled with excitement as he turned over to the stranger. " Hey! Thanks for noticing me haha..... My name is Kyoya Kamikaze. But friends call me Kyo!"
  18. (Kyo Kamikaze)
  19. Wulfric watched the boy with a curious eye, staring at the water art that surrounded him. It was quite mesmerizing to look at, and set him into a trance for awhile before he condensed it into a ball and sent it away expeditiously. A quick nod of approval was given to the movement, as it was impressive from someone of the boy's assumed age. Wulfric guessed that he couldn't have been older than 7 or 8. It was clear that, while generally unpracticed, he displayed a great deal of aptitude for the magic. Wulfric stood silent for a moment, staring at the boy and keeping to his thoughts before speaking once more.
  20.
  21. "Perhaps you're right, but you're still quite young. You can start those years of practice right now." he noted to the boy. A frown crossed his face for a fleeting moment, perhaps a bad memory. It was quick and likely inperceptible. He quickly returned to his calm, blank expression and extended his arm to the boy for a handshake.
  22.
  23. "A pleasure to meet you, Kyo. My name is Wulfric." He was friendly but gaunt, and seemed to give a faint aura of occult magic. The area around him felt slightly colder than usual.
  24. (Wulfric)
  25. The applause!
  26.
  27. Smiling, Kyo couldn't help but feel good about another actually appraising his pratice. It made him feel actually good. Better than ever to have someone notice your hard work. It took Kyo days, weeks, months to half a year! To finally notice that he was adapt to conjuring elements to his will. He studied in books hard for that past time. Going as far as attmepting it every other day where he failed time and time again. Not accomplishing anything. But he kept up with it. Trying to keep that positive attitude that Ike had displayed for him.
  28.
  29. Fail after fail again. He tried. Time and time after again. Grinding as he re-read those two books about wind and water magic over and over again. It was to the point where he could pratically recite the entire book without hesitation. But even then he wasn't able to even make a small gust of wind blow by or even make the water within a lake move a certain way or atleast change directions. Even drawing something out of water, or making a dropplet on a crown move. But now. He could do that! and he dreams to do much more! He just can't wait for the chance that he can finally open up that Ice book within the Orphanage and finally reach the mark where he could learn his most desired element.

  31. Ice!
  32.
  33. "Yes! I plan to hahaha!" he exclaimed as light seems to beam off of him! It was then that the older teen's expression seemed to change into one of gloom. But it was quickly recovered with something more.... appleasing, aswell as a hand extended for him to grasp. Which made Kyo a bit hesitant. With all the arguing that happens in Nostvale and the fighting and rumors. He didn't know if he should make this extra step. But after a moments thought. The older teen would've been meaner at the beginning if he intended to harm him. So with a smile He reached out and clasped his hand against the much older boy and shook it with glee!
  34.
  35. "Nice too meet you Wulfric!" he said excitedly. "I plan to learn Ice magic one day!" he said proudly. But as soon as that bright shine came off of the young boy. Had it started to dim. His happy-go-lucky attitude soon started to fade with one of wonder and curiousity. Even a little bit of fear after moments to come. Since no words were being given from the both of them. There was only the noise of silence and the crowded noise of the people that stormed the streets. Which made Kyo come more intune with his surroundings. He felt something a bit cold. But he couldn't tell what it was to either be afraid of it. Or to embrace it. The mere feeling had a few hairs on the back of his neck raise as he smiled uneasily because he had felt that way.
  36.
  37. But again, Ike's words went through his head and he shook his head. Smiling once more to try not to show how obvious he was to that weird faint feeling. He spoke up saying " So what magics do you know?! Do you think that you can help me learn Ice magic?" he asked
  38. (Kyo Kamikaze)
  39. Wulfric gripped Kyo's hand and gave it a firm shake, his skin cold to the touch. For a brief moment, the cloak wrapped about him had pulled back and his shirt sleeve rolled up slightly to reveal his forearm. It was quite clear that the skin was branded with various runic symbols, and Wulfric quickly moved to shove down the sleeve and furiously pull down the cloak. He gave a frustrated sigh before moving his sullen gaze to the child. He should've been more careful. A feeling of dread overcame him and the occultic aura seemed to worsen nearby. He took a step back, glancing to a nearby ship about to head out of town.
  40.
  41. "I, uh... don't know any... sorry." he muttured as he began to head off towards the boat. "I have to leave. Keep up your training." stuttered the flustered teen as he rushed off, cursing under his breath. "I uh... I have to go. Goodbye."
  42. (Wulfric)
