Privacy Policy – X Country Flags Extension
This browser extension adds a small country flag next to usernames on X (twitter.com / x.com) based on the public “Account based in” information shown in each user’s “About this account” section.What data do we collect?  None.
This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you or any X user.

What data is processed locally?  The extension reads your X cookies only to make the same authenticated requests your browser already makes when you visit a profile.
It temporarily caches the public “Account based in” country/region text (e.g., “Portugal”, “United States”) for one week in your browser’s local storage so it doesn’t have to re-request the same profile repeatedly.
This cache is stored only on your device and is never sent anywhere.

No tracking, no analytics, no third-party services.
There are no servers, no logging, no analytics, and no data sharing with anyone.Permissions explained  storage – to remember countries for one week (reduces requests)
https://x.com/* and https://twitter.com/* – to read public profile data the same way your browser does
Cookies are read only to stay logged in (identical to normal X usage)
