PERSONALITY :

yua is mature, just like a mother. she treats the members like her own children and is the shoulder they can all lean on. being an only child, she sees the girls as her own siblings and care for them a lot. she is a better listener than a speaker and she gives them good advice. whenever she notices that a member is feeling down, she tries to create funny situations to make them laugh and to cheer them up [e.g. aegyo, which she sucks at — aegyo faces make her look like she is angry ; or dancing — she knows most meme dances like the backpack kid's, etc.] she strictly defends the girls to go on diets and sometimes, she even spends her own allowance money to buy them food. she always talks them out softly and nicely, sugarcoating her words. despite her optimistic and confident demeanour, yua is actually a very anxious person. she often gets worried about how things will turn out and bottles up her emotions as she bears many responsibilities but she knows that the members don't see her as a burden.

yua was very energetic person as a child, but one night when she was six, she overheard a phone conversation between her father and an anonymous interlocutor. she was very young but being quick witted, she could tell that he was cheating on her mother with another woman. unable to find sleep, she tried to dig in further to make sure that she's not wrong. however, as she scrolled through the data of her father's phone, she saw pictures of her own mother hugging an unknown man. as the truth broke out, a huge fight ensued and the parents divorced. yua moved to south korea, to live with her grandmother on her mother's side. she received her education and other needs from her, living off the monthly allowance that each of her parents would send her.

she sometimes speaks in rhymes, being all cringe worthy and embarrassing her members. she loves anything that rhymes, like poems and song lyrics. the girls have to admit that her rhyme combinations are often very original and fresh.

yua was in the school backyard, near the unused outdoor volleyball court was, practising her aegyo because her cats run away every time she tries to act cute to them. however, sangyeon who was passing by, spotted her trying the 'kukkukkaka' move. he was listening to music through earphones but he saw that yua seemed angry, so he stopped dead in his tracks and asked her if she was alright.
