- THE FIFTH GATHERS: SCENE 13: THE ASTEROID FIELD
- Thoreau climbs down into the engine, desperately trying to fix it.
- MR. THOREAU: Horizontal auxiliary thruster!
- Drag Along growls.
- MR. THOREAU: Alluvial barrier.
- Drag Along growls. Thoreau furiously tells him to bring him the right tools.
- MR. THOREAU: Incorrect. Add my water pressurizer!
- Thoreau grabs the tool and contemplates his lot in life.
- MR. THOREAU: I don't know how many I don't know.
- The Falcon is hit with blaster fire. Thoreau shouts in pain as the toolbox falls on top of him.
- MR. THOREAU: Chewie!
- The Falcon is hit once again, but maybe not by lazer blasts.
- MR. THOREAU: Nana Geki Gokubaku. A little bit of things go.
- PRINCESS LEAH: Han, get up.
- Mr. Thoreau runs back to the cockpit and shouts to Drag Along to follow along.
- MR. THOREAU: Ch Cheewie!
- It turns out that the Falcon has entered an asteroid field.
- PRINCESS LEAH: A little star.
- MR. THOREAU: Chewie, 271.
- Thoreau starts steering into the asteroid field. Leah is shocked and concerned.
- PRINCESS LEAH: are you there? Are you really not close to the star area?
- MR. THOREAU: Do you have any other questions?
- PRINCESS LEAH: You don't need soga to be serious.
- Blow the Skin is utterly terrified, and starts stating the obvious.
- BLOW THE SKIN: Teacher, the possibility of successful navigation In comparison, 3,720 is 3,720.
- MR. THOREAU: Permanent unnecessary fees.
- (Fun fact: This scene is completely unrealistic. Our asteroid belt might seem crowded from a distance, but those boulders are actually very far away from each other. Dodging them would actually be fairly easy.
- In fact, when NASA sent a sond to an asteroid, they had to carefully calculate the course to ensure it would even end up on one.)
- Anyway, the Falcon dives in, followed by TIE Fighters, and that seriously WONDERFUL music starts playing. :D
- MR. THOREAU: Soga is in chaos. this is possible.
- Thoreau is getting a bit worried now. Leah is still extremely sassy.
- PRINCESS LEAH: I am sorry. I have been waiting for a long time.
- MR. THOREAU: The theory of injustice.
- PRINCESS LEAH: Kona broken?
- MR. THOREAU: One of them is very close to me.
- Leah and Blow the Skin are both very shocked by this.
- PRINCESS LEAH: SaraKon?
- BLOW THE SKIN: SaraKon?
- The Falcon flies down to a huge asteroid and flies along its' surface, (and MAN does it look gorgeous. Honestly, it's probably one of the best practical effects in the whole trilogy.) The two remaining fighters
- crash into a cliff side and explode.
- BLOW THE SKIN: This is suicide! Left indefinitely.
- Thoreau spots a cave entrance and points at it.
- MR. THOREAU: There. This is not a nurse.
- PRINCESS LEAH: What does not look different?
- MR. THOREAU: Ah. good looking.
- (He's not wrong, you know. Leah definitely is though. Poor woman must be getting dizzy.)
- BLOW THE SKIN: No troubles, women, but where are the Tanga going?
- The Falcon dives down into the cave. (Another great sequence.) Leah is still quite worried, and Thoreau shares her sentiment.
- PRINCESS LEAH: My hope is Kuchimichi.
- MR. THOREAU: Ah. So are we.
- END OF SCENE 13.
