- Yang couldn’t believe her eyes. In front of her was a woman wearing a long white gown, adorned by golden and red armor. A golden tiara rested on her head with a green jewel inside it. However, Yang looked at the woman’s face. Long, red hair tied up in a ponytail with emerald eyes. She was even wearing the same golden choker.
- “P-pyrrha?” This couldn’t be. Ruby, Weiss, and Blake she could understand, but Pyrrha? She knew Pyrrha was dead. Before she could wonder any further, a man in white plate armor, not unlike the Atlasian Knights, moved forward and drew his sword.
- “You! Bow before Maiden Erable’s presence! Have you no sense of nobility?!” Yang could have sworn she recognized the knight’s posture, but the voice threw her off. Not only did it sound gruff, but there was a metallic tone that rung in his voice.
- “Argos… Please.” The Maiden’s voice, however, struck very close to home. It was a dead ringer for Pyrrha alright. The knight slowly backed away as Erable stood up. “I’m sorry for Argos’ behaviour. I presume you’re the team that I asked for?” She asked. Ruby stepped forward.
- “Yes.” Yang still couldn’t get over how expressionless Ruby was. It felt unnerving for someone other than Blake to be the emo of the group. “Now, where shall we escort you to, my lady?” She asked. Erable simply giggled.
- “Oh, no. You’re mistaken. You’re not taking me anywhere.” She said. Ruby stomped her foot.
- “The contract said it’s an escort mission! So where are you-” Ruby said.
- “I’m not going anywhere. Your mission is to escort someone else to here. Argos, if you would.” Erable asked the knight. He sighed as he got up and went over to Ruby. Yang could see the man’s bright blue visor light up as he handed Ruby the folder. Ruby opened it up and pulled out two photos. A blue-eyed woman with short orange hair and a pink-eyed man with long black hair.
- “Nora? Ren?” Yang muttered.
- “N-no way! The Fall Maiden wants my teacher of all people?” Blake shoved Yang out of the way as her jaw dropped. No. What unnerved Yang more was that Blake was more upbeat than Ruby. She took the photo of Ren and stared at it. Weiss, meanwhile, ran to hide behind a column upon seeing Nora’s photo.
- “Nuh-ah! Nope! Nope! Not going back to that psychopath!” Weiss said. Ruby turned her head to see Weiss before staring back at the photos with a sigh.
- “Consider it done, my lady.” She took the photo from Blake and put them back in the folder.
- “Master Eren is located at Haven Academy! I can give you directions there, if you’d like!” Blake said.
- “Much obliged. You!” Ruby shot a glare to Yang. “You’re coming with us… sis.” She growled at the line. Yang stood for a moment before she frowned. “Weiss, we’re going!” Ruby walked to the column and dragged Weiss by the collar.
- “Waaah! Ruby! Stop!” Weiss tried to slow her down by dragging her heels against the carpet, but to no avail.
- “Welp, you heard her!” Blake simply skipped on her way to the two. Yang simply walked. She turned back to see Pyrr- Erable. This… was going to take a while to get used to.
- ----
- “Maiden Erable, what is it you request?” Argos bowed before her.
- “Take off the mask. You don’t need it.” Erable said.
- “My lady?” He paused for a bit before he sighed. “Very well.” He put two hands behind his helmet and unclasped it. As he pulled it off, Erable smiled. Argos’ face was actually really handsome. Short blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, there was a scar on his left cheek, right underneath his eye. She walked forward and stroked his cheek. “My lady, what are you- Mmmmphm!” Erable leaned in and kissed Argos on the lips. Argos eyes widened as she continued. It was only for a few seconds before she pulled away, tears forming in her eyes. “What… was that all about?” He asked. She simply shook her head.
- “No… You’re not like him… I’m sorry!” Was all she said before she ran off crying.
