  1. It Was So Suffocatingly Dark. And yet, It felt so comfortable. ...At first. Then He became nervous. Where was he? He felt as if he should know, but simply couldn’t figure it out. For the first while or so he had been content where he was, hidden from sight within the darkness he had awoken to. Ever more nervous he got as he heard Groans From nearby, but for some odd reason, whereas others would have been nervous, he merely felt like he had to get out. Get out before something bad Happened.
  2. He clawed at the Walls around him that he knew were there. He had felt them once when he had been curious as to how large his darkness was. So as He struggled, Dragging his Nails against the Walls, attempting to pry open his encasement he let out a few cries of “Let me--Grrr-- Out!” The Growl had come unexpectedly, which startled him a bit. As time went on- He swore his nails should have been gone by now…- He could hear the others Scratch and Claw at their own traps. Then again, they could have been at it longer than he himself had been. He had sort of tuned out their calls and vocalizations when they had gotten overly loud. As he once more began to listen though.. The groans had become frustrated grunts and growls- And he was Pretty sure he heard Banging from Farther away. That Gave him an Idea. He Backed up as much as he could, which really wasn’t much, before Rearing his booted foot up and slamming it into the surface. A Creak Resonated through the darkness. It Was Working somewhat, although Dull pain ran the length of his leg now. He decided after a while of thought that he would alternate between the two actions. So once more he resumed Scratching at the surface. There was most certainly a dent now.
  3. It took time but soon he Was Almost Free. But by then he could hear talking outside his- What he had come to think was- Tomb or prison. It sounded as though whoever was there was speaking about something. The thing That Disturbed him though… Was the Silence. He didn’t hear anything from those that had been trapped much like he had. He Renewed his efforts with vigor when he heard pained screams as well as what could only be described as flesh being torn. There was more screaming as well, so he struggled just as much to get out. Rapid footsteps were fleeing from where he was, followed by Two sets of footsteps-Which he heard were uneven, as if they were Stumbling after whoever was fleeing. He Backed up to the other wall before Rushing forward, slamming his side into the more Battered Wall.
  4. Bingo. He was once more introduced to the world of light as the Wall gave way, crashing to the ground. He tumbled forth from his.. Tomb, Ending up face first on the ground as a Bow and Quiver half full of arrows followed, crashing onto the back of his head. A Groan escaped his surprisingly pale lips from the pain ringing through him from his action. It was worth it though as he stumbled to his feet. His head whipped back and forth to look at his surroundings through Hazy vision. He seemed to be in some sort of temple, and he could see Three other Tombs- He was Right!...- Two of which were open. Woops. Stand corrected. The Third was open, It merely looked like it was still Shut. His Dull, glazed over Violet Blue eyes glanced at the body that was being feasted on by A Figure Donning a Red Tunic and Cap. He didn’t have time to do anything though as he grabbed up the Bow and quiver, sliding the latter into place. He didn’t understand why he had done so, but figured it must have been a habit from somewhere in his life before he had met the darkness. Turning on his heel He Ran-Limped Down the Brightly lit hallway in chase of the growls and screams. He felt as though he had to help, even if he didn’t understand why.
  5. He Stumbled around a corner to see A duo of Figures Dressed in Blue and Green outfits biting into two people dressed as… Archaeologists? There were a handful of others That were struggling to get what he expected was the exit open. Each bore Bite marks of some sort with blood leaking from the injuries. The-What he had figured out were zombies- Duo turned their attentions back to the larger group of food, thinking they were better prey than the ones that were stumbling towards the doorway that was now open. It was at that moment that He realized, With Regret, that if he didn’t do something now the True zombies would escape. He strung up an arrow, almost instinctively, drawing his bow in the process. “St-top!” He cried out through a Trembling voice, grabbing the attention of the one dressed in blue. The one in Green was at the door now.
  6. Fwing! The Arrow Embedded itself into the Green one’s Side, Making him leap away from the door with a howl of pain. That gave him enough time to Dart forward, Slamming the door shut. This action was rewarded with a loud scream of Rage from both Zombies. One raised their hand and pointed at the door angrily, as if to say to open the door once more. He Shook his head defiantly, notching another arrow and Drawing it back, aiming at both of them With a frown. “You will-rrr- Not Harm anyone Rrr.. Else!” He hissed, not even caring about the growls that fled his throat during his threat. The Blue one did not listen though, Running forward, Broken and Rotted Hammer Raised. With Ease He let an arrow Embed itself into the Arm of the Blue one, stopping his charge.
  7. But in result an inarticulate scream of rage escaped Blue, who stumbled to a halt inches from him. Blue’s Dark, Faded Ocean Blue eyes glared violently at the other Male’s Glazed over Violet Eyes, Rage evident in the depths of the Blue orbs. The Hammer hung limply at the Blue one’s side, Having been lowered when the arrow Pierced the flesh of the arm. He shoved The Blue one back, growling his own threat. They would not leave. If they tried he would not hesitate to Shoot them.
  8. He was pretty sure Blue would have tried again if the Red one hadn’t peered in to see what was happening, some flesh hanging from it’s lips, blood smeared along it’s mouth. The Scent got the interest of the Two, who were reminded of the Red one’s lucky Catch Earlier, making them turn and Stumble back to where the still warm corpse still was. The Red one remained though, gazing at Him with A Single Dull Ruby orb. The other was missing. A Soft inquisitive noise came from Red’s mouth as he approached, Ruby orb looking up to the Violet Dressed Male blocking the Exit. Red stopped just before him, tip of one end of the bow sticking lightly against his chest. He had eaten his fill, and was merely curious as to how the familiar face was. Even if he couldn’t say so. But, he must be Hungry.
  9. Red pulled the Half Eaten Strip of flesh from his lips and Held it out with his trembling hand, lightly brushing the Red bloodstained meat against the Taller one’s Lips. Said Link cringed away from the flesh, not wanting anything to do with it.
  10. “R-Red.. No… I-I’m rr… Not hungry…” He breathed in response, nudging the Flesh back towards the shorter Link. He didn’t question how he’d known the name, it didn’t matter. In all honesty, he just couldn’t bear the thought of Eating someone’s Dead body. Sure, he too was probably a Zombie like the others… But he was still.. Sane. He had to hold onto his sanity.
  11. Red shrugged and gulped down the flesh, a slurping sound from sucking it into his mouth like one would slurp Spaghetti. Once it was down his throat he looked back up at Vio with interest in his Single Ruby orb. He raised his hand once more to pat Vio’s Cheek, smearing some blood there before turning to Return to the others. The Sound of his footsteps Retreating Echoed in the otherwise empty entrance hall.
  12. He slowly sighed, brushing his bony fingers against the blood now comfortably residing on his cheek. Pulling his fingers back he gazed at the Red Life water with hungry eyes before shaking his head. Sane. Sane. He must Remain Sane. Reaching down he rubbed the blood off onto his own Tunic before taking a Seat. With his Back to the Wall beside the door he Prepared to Stop what used to be his friends from escaping.
