- Trouble aboard the Soaring Phoenix, a bar fight breaks out, with violence leading all throughout the ship, straight down to the arena where first Xyth would fight Erehn in a brotherly match... Followed by Uri facing his now banished crew mate in a battle to remind him of who he was. To break him out of that insanity that Erehn was going through, acting as anyone under the house of Anos would. A Guardian for the family he had forged on that ship of his. It was Uri that intervened and stopped the Killing blow.
- [19:43] He just couldn't stand it anymore, all of these things that were bothering him had just built up but the thing that set him off was the resentment which was left unchecked.
- I am fighting for what i want to protect.
- Well i've been tough, the mud, the rain, the storm.
- The room was silent as Erehn's metal boot impacted upon the wood of the boat. There was no way to describe what his eyes expressed other than derangement.
- When he finally reached his bloodbrother, Xyth, he pulled his right arm back and punched him in the face hard enough to dislocate his jaw.
- "WHAT DO YOU WANT TO PROTECT, HUH?! WHAT TOUGHNESS?! WHAT HARDSHIPS HAVE YOU BEEN THROUGH OTHER THAN BEING REJECTED?! WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO BE KILLED, WHERE WERE YOU WHEN ORACLE WAS WANTED, WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I HAD TO BURY THE LAST OF MY BROTHERS?!"
- If Xyth was knocked down by his punch, Erehn surely would have kicked him as hard as he could while he was down. "ALL YOU DO IS TALK BIG AND CONDESCENDINGLY LIKE YOU KNOW SOMETHING WE DON'T, NEVER GAVE ME A DAMN CHANCE BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO BUSY WITH YOUR BUSINESS! WHERE ARE ALL OF OUR BROTHERS THAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE FIGHTING FOR?! I AM THE LAST GODDAMNED ONE AND YOU DON'T EVEN GIVE ME THE TIME OF DAY!"
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:46] Demios Arborea says, "That'd be the same as me saying, that healing and providing medical aid to someone who later killed a dozen, causes their blood to be on my hands. It really doesn't. You provided a service, maybe an intentionally shoddy one, but at the end of the day, a warrior... solider, should check their own equipment."
- [19:46] Uri would look to Skylar, because she seemed passionate for the cause of what she spoke. He then turned his ears to Erehn, and the words he would say... So, from this point of view, Uri could see that there was three parties or more in the room...
- Passives...
- Activist...
- Defenders...
- Dreamers...
- Optimist...
- "Skylar," he said her name softly, for her wanted her to see him in such a fashion that one could consider tunnel vision... Because Uri made hisw ay towards her, ignoring all else.
- "All of you, Hush and give me this moment... Nothing but chaos whilst one tries to out trauma the other or bring up reasons why they are right, when we should be listening not to ourselves but the wishes of the crying spirits... We sail the Ocean of time, just as I told you all before... We are in the loop of another Bastard Rebellion and plotting conflict will only contribute to that very prophecy..."
- "Silence," the Captain demanded and would look to Skylar.
- "Tell me what concerns -you- most."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:47] Skylar Azar whispers something.
- [19:48] Orca would give Skylar a shortlived smile as she made her way back to the seat.
- (Orca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:48] Uri Sanctum says, "Skylar."
- [19:48] Skylar Looks to uri
- (Skylar Azar)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:48] Orca says, "..."
- [19:48] Skylar Azar says, "I..I'm sorry."
- [20:03] Xyth looked toward Erehn, feeling him strike him, but he didn't fall down.
- He felt a fist across his cheek, but it was more of a red mark on his face.
- He was stunned for a moment, but when he heard Erehn he frowned.
- His blood began to boil and the fact that Erehn thought he was the only one to feel hardship or had to bury someone. Xyth had to do that too.
- Xyth grit his teeth and balled up his fists, but he didn't want to swing back. He didn't want to and he was more accepting to just be a punching bag.
- Though if Erehn tried to throw another punch, Xyth would let it hit him. Then again then again and then Again.
- Xyth had more pain then Erehn did and even then Xyth knew what he talked about when he said that Xyth knew more then him and talked down to him.
- "Its because its all I have. Knowing more then people puts you ahead of a curve to push people away from the danger. Being more knowledgeable makes it where youknow a path to follow to keep things flowing.
- But when things change...Everything....changes..."
- Xyth frowned a bit, but he took whatever Erehn gave him.
- "I had to bury just as much people. Or did you forget that I helped you bury Oracle....Or that I had to bury Akame without you?
- I helped bury Faria, Uri's sister in Theris just below the dragon statute in town....
- I had to know the curve of everything to keep everyone I had left in safe corners. I wasn't there for you because I cant be everywhere. Im sorry I wasn't there for you when you lost Lemuria. Im sorry Im not there for you all the time. But what is it you wanted from me? I am the brother who does the work and makes sure that you and the others could live on....Because I stopped trying to live for myself the moment I saw you and Akame hurt as kids.
- When we lived in Sudbury and someone older hit you for talking back. When our monster of parts hurt you and Akame...I took all the pain from you both. I took the pain of the world onto my shoulders because I didn't want to see all of us suffer in that hell hole.
- If I had to be the wall to protect my family, then I would be. If I had to become something like a punching bag to soften the blow as much as possible I would do it.....But I never meant to talk down to you. You were always the one to act out and do the extremes. Even as my older twin brother you were the one to make the mistakes I can never help with. When Nyx and Aerlion were around I could tell that they loved you more and your side...Your extremist side to do gun tricks. The side that was always fun and thrilling..
- If I had to be the boring brother who sat in a room thinking and wondering while everyone had fun...then that was fine by me.
- The only time I tried to think about me was when I had Sanna, but that quickly ended. I try to help everyone I can because I cant help myself.
- I fight for everyone because I believe in everyone. I never gave up.
- When I found out that Oracle and Brodeur were gone, I tried to find them. But didn't....I only managed to find Oracle because of Thadria and I wanted to talk with him more. But he was gone before I knew it. Ryuko left us and All I had was you, Nyx, and Aerlion. But with you always around, it was always messing around or your not around. Most of the time when I was free you weren't around and when we mess around, its doing something like talking or shooting at something....I was always about business because it was something I was good at...."
- (Xyth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:10] Xyth's speech would strike something in her. The pain of loss. All too familiar. But it's not the time to let her emotions take over.
- Orca didn't think that anyone would interfere in their private squabble. It only concerned the brothers, after all.
- But still, she wouldn't take the risk. She wanted it to play out uninterrupted. For their own sake. Whatever it was, it needed to be buried. And so she simply unsheathed a massive chunk of nyeshk and rested the tip of it on the floor, barring the way to either side, sanctioning their argument.
- "I guess it's just your usual political meeting..."
- (Orca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:10] For one more time. Uri held Skylar in his arms, hugging her tightly as he said once more. "Even now, you must understand my actions... People are fickled Sky, it's the sad truth... But to be above that flock, you must think without any attachments, only those that are essential... Love, Dreams and Progress," he said so calmly into her ear before reaching to take the gun off her back or from her hips...
- He would of course, approach the two, both Xyth and Erehn, firing the gun into the ceiling. Yelling at the top of his lungs.
- "Cease Fire!... Mr. Jones, patch that up and Erehn… What in the fuck mothering eternia are you doing? Is fighting really the solution to everything? Honestly man, that's the thought process of a Knight, you need to relax and listen to eachother… Because the more you fight, the less of a reason you give me to continue this journey."
- He would of course, sit down at the bar, even if they were to fight.
- "Yer brothers, not enemies... This is not how things should be handled, you hear me?... Now each of us have our own freedoms on this ship, every one of us has a journey of our own, but that is no reason to raise your swords... Doing so only means, you're no different from the people we are trying to suppress..."
- He tossed Skylar her gun back in the end.
- "Either you all listen to me now, or I'll unleash a storm... This is my ship, and you will heed my words, or walk the plank," he said so calmly, and waited for them to respond or sit down for him to speak.
- "Because those who are unable to speak and are forced to raise their hands out of anger are just simple chess pieces."
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:11] Orca says, "The circumstances are unfortunate. But it's their private matter. Please let them bury their hatred once and for all."
- [20:12] Skylar caught her gun with a grin on her face
- (Skylar Azar)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:15] All this talk of pain and loss, even Faira being mentioned, put a dent in his crimson high, causing Demios's burnt orange hues to slowly pulse.
- Aggression and heated words, over something as potentially benign as education.
- Demios sighed slightly, a glance given to the door, maybe leaving for now would be prudent, a slight tinge of aggression building from within that void.
- His tail tightened on the bench for a moment before uncoiling from it, allowing him to stand.
- He stretched slightly, his wings shifting behind him, before sitting down again, moving his bag to his front, producing a bottle of purple liquid.
- Popping the cork on it with his teeth, he took a couple of deep glugs, a singular eye focusing on Xyth and Erehn.
- (Demios Arborea)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:20] The hatred focused itself on Uri, who had the gall to call Erehn an idiot after all he's persevered and solved. The look in his eyes were shaky, as if he could barely focus on him.
- "WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN IDIOT, YOU PIECE OF SHIT! YOU'RE THE GODDAMNED REASON WHY!"
- And suddenly it was back to Xyth, throwing as much punches as he could with the strength to break a wall with ease. But the only damage that mattered on either bloodbrother was emotional.
- "YOU THINK I CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU'VE DONE AT THIS POINT?! EVERYTHING YOU MENTION IS ABOUT ME NEEDING HELP! I DON'T NEED YOU, CAN'T YOU REALIZE THAT!? I HAVE NO NEED TO TRY TO REACH OUT TO YOU, BUT I TRY TO! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST SHOW EMOTION FOR FIVE GODDAMNED SECONDS TO TALK! YOU'RE MY BLOODBROTHER, YET TONAK IS THE ONLY PERSON I CAN SAY GENUINELY CARED ABOUT ME!"
- As Erehn began to grow weary from the beating his was giving his last brother, he became more sorrowful. "THE ONLY OTHER PERSON I COULD SAY THAT ABOUT WAS HER! SHE NEVER MOCKED ME FOR DOING THE BEST I COULD UNLIKE ALL OF YOU TO KEEP MYSELF TOGETHER! SHE GENUINELY CARED ABOUT ME! YOU ROBBED ME OF A PROPER GOODBYE BECAUSE I DECIDED TO CARE ABOUT YOU LIKE I WAS SUPPOSED TO CARE FOR A BROTHER, BUT YOU DON'T DESERVE IT! WAS THE LAST THING SHE THOUGHT ABOUT WITH HER FAMILY ME GIVING HER A HATEFUL GLARE AND TELL HER TO GET OUT? WAS IT PAINFUL? DID SHE SUFFER? I DON'T KNOW! THIS TORMENT IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!"
- It was getting more and more difficult to throw punches instead of just letting tears flow and let out a cry.
- "I BET YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT HOW MUCH WORSE YOUR SUFFERING WAS, LIKE IT'S SOME KIND OF CONTEST! NONE OF US ASKED FOR THIS!"
- The punches ceased for a few seconds, only for an anguished Erehn to draw his revolver and target Xyth.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:28] "Let them talk it out," he repeats now with a stern tone. The gentle words from prior had been swapped for ones that held a hint of force. He'd no intention of raising his hand towards the situation, instead he would simply talk the situation down.
- "Uri, allow them to get it all out of their system. You intervening will only aggregate the situation. Xyth and Erehn, take this into another room. We can have this meeting at another time." He'd add.
- (Viorell Beret)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:29] Orca nods in approval, still standing adamant to stop anyone who tries to intervene in their private matters.
- (Orca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:29] Uri would shrug his shoulders at this, sitting back on the bar table, legs crossed... He looked at the two, wondering when they'd put this to an end... However, if things got out of hand, the Captain would have to summon his non-magi and rag tag crew mates to assist him in detaining his friend and temporarily toss em in the brig.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:30] Xyth took the punches made by Erehn, but once he talked about his wife, but once he wanted to have Xyth get emotional, he grit his teeth and spoke up.
- "YOU THINK I WANTED THAT?! I TOLD YOU TO MOURN HER THE MOMENT I HEARD YOU LOST HER. I TOLD YOU TO MOURN HER PROPERLY WITHOUT THE NEED OF ME! THAT MUCH IS ON YOU! I'M NOT THE ONE TO GET HER KILLED!
- I ONLY MOCKED YOU WHEN YOU PUT OTHER PEOPLE IN THE LINE OF FIRE! LIKE WHEN AKAME DID WHEN YOU TRIED TO HELP HIM AGAINST OWYN, URIZEN AND (Forgot the last guy's name).
- IF YOU DONT NEED ME THEN WHY NOT SAY IT! WHEN I'VE BEEN TRYING TO WORK EVERYTHING OUT! AND AS FAR AS I KNOW YOU AND TONAK HAVE BEEN FRIENDS FOR 10 YEARS. YOU TALK TO HIM MORE THEN TO ME. I CARE ABOUT MY FAMILY. BUT IM NOT GOING TO BE THE WARRANT FOR YOUR ANGER IF YOU PUT BLAME ON ME FOR SOMETHING I HAD NO CONTROL OVER!"
- When Xyth saw the gun, Xyth tried to push it out the way, grunting with a bit more emotion.
- (Xyth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:37] Uri Sanctum says, "Veyr...Very Close."
- [20:38] Astrid cos Salis says, "....."
- [20:38] Astrid cos Salis exclaims, "Erehn! You need to stop this! He's had enough!"
- [20:38] Orca sighed, knowing that she'd have to step up soon.
- (Orca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:38] Kole Tsuyoi says, "If he doesn't stop, then I'll beat his ass."
- [20:40] Orca is vibing.
- (Orca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:40] Kole cracks his knuckles
- (Kole Tsuyoi)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:50] The battle was one where neither of them cared about anything other than just beating the life out of eachother, whether it was because they hated eachother or felt betrayed or maybe some deeper meaning was unknown to the both of them.
- What happened for Erehn was a long since coming release of his resentment in the form of violence.
- All he did was rush towards his brother while firing as fast as he could, throwing his fists as hard as he could whenever he got the chance to hurt Xyth. It was agonizing for both to deal with but he eventually managed to put a few bullets into his bloodbrother's legs, forcing him out of the fight.
- It was strange for Erehn, to have the deafening noise of gunfire and magic screeching across the arena suddenly stop. But when he noticed his fallen brother, he shambled his way towards him until he towered over him. He looked Xyth in the eye before unloading as many rounds as he could into him, six in each arm, six in the legs, six inthe torso, and the final round.
- His irons moved to align themselves with the felinae's head, pressure was applied on the trigger and the gunslinger's eyes closed before he heard a final round being fired, unsure of whether or not he really killed him. But even if he was alive, the Erehn that most in the ship knew was dead.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:52] Uri approaches to stop any killing blow, if no one else does.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:52] Astrid would warp in to block whatever killing blow if Uri were to fail in his attempt to do so
- (Astrid cos Salis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [20:56] Erehn attempted to shamble out of the place, revolver still in hand.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:03] Xyth tried not to hurt his brother too much, still fearing of hurting him, but in letting his emotions drive him to hold back, Xyth was forced into a corner.
- There were several bullets laid into his legs, but as he sat here, aching, he herad the footsteps of his brother, but now, he looked Erehn in the eyes, only to see that warrant of anger and frustration, coming to realize that his brother was no more.
- He felt all the bullets into his arms and legs once more, but he frowned again, feeling those shots were in his bodyu now, but as he gasped, feeling nothing but pain, he looked up toward Erehn, seeing that barrel stare at him.
- Though when he closed his eyes, he tried to create a wall of pressure to stop his death, only to it to not work. Though he started to feel his aura flare again.
- His magic being bypassed and the shot aimedfor his head was curved by his flaring mana, but it was his star, Ios, forcing it out of the way for just a moment, but the flow of pressure hit Xyth, making him fall down.
- The blood rushed from his wounds. All he tried to do was be the best kind of person he could, caring for all. But he couldn't see that he wasn't caring enough for his last bit of family.
- Because now.....Xyth was alone. He had no more family by his side. His destiny was broken. His spirit shattered. and his mind, gone all in one moment.
- Xyth wasn't dead, he might one day heal. But this....this was too much for him to bare.
- (Xyth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:05] Though when he closed his eyes, he tried to create a wall of pressure to stop his death, only to it to not work. Though he started to feel his aura flare again.
- The red aura that he used during the tournament came out, forcing Xyth's body to pulse for a moment, then flare out in a moment to increase his power.
- His magic being bypassed and the shot aimed for his head was curved by his flaring mana, and gravitational powers being excelled but it was his star, Ios, forcing it out of the way for just a moment, but the flow of pressure waved against Xyth, making him fall down.
- (Xyth)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:05] She had never seen Erehn in that state. It almost seemed like he was fighting something in himself rather than Xyth. Remaining ties, perhaps? Orca had no idea what drove him to do this. It wasn't necessary, no. She would have stopped him if she saw that coming. Not only to save his brother's life but also Erehn's fragile mind.
- The drakanite rushed towards the scene in an attempt to stop anyone from going after her friend or any further escalations. It was done. Whatever needed to be done for the brothers.
- A concerned gaze would be sent towards the departing felinae. Orca had a faint clue on what was happening inside him. But she couldn't relate to what he felt.
- "It's over. Let this rest between them."
- (Orca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:06] Demios glanced over the scene, pipe shifting in his mouth a little, before he stood.
- He glanced to Uri for a moment.
- "I've got some thing to take care of, I'll swing back around later."
- With that he began to wander off, two hundred coins lighter and if no one stopped him, he'd be gone.
- (Demios Arborea)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:06] Uri Sanctum says, "Be safe... I'll tend to Xyth and handle Erehn."
- [21:07] Upon seeing Xyth being barraged by bullets and losing the fight, Astrid furrows her brow. Every single bullet coursing through Xyth's body proving to cause her heart to drop..
- "Erehn! Stop this!"
- Much to her dismay, Xyth would lose the fight against his brother. Her instinct calling on to her to protect him, she warps right in front of Erehn as she swiftly pulls out her blade to deflect the final blow pointed toward Xyth!
- "Stop this now you damn fool! He's your brother!"
- Astrid furrows her brow. Pointing her blade at the man in front of her
- "Did you really intend to kill him? Look at yourself. Look at the monster your becoming. How dare you try to hurt your brother like this! He's your family! Don't you care about him!?"
- She moves forward as she still continues to grasp her blade and point it at Erehn
- "We've all been through a lot. Every single one of us! But that doesn'tgive us ANY excuse to continue fighting like animals! When will it ever stop!? When will you decide when enough is enough!? When you're holding your dead brother in your arms!? This is the exact reason this damn world is so....so messed up!"
- Astrid lowers her blade as she meets Erehn in the eye. Looking backward at Xyth as she crouches down to check on his wounds. A permanent injury seemingly staining his face..
- "...."
- Astrid takes a deep sigh, standing up and looking over at Erehn
- "I understand your anger. I understand your grief. We've all been through enough pain and hardship in our lives. Why do you intend to cause more?"
- The girl would intend to stay by Xyth's side, motioning over to Uri.
- "Uri, we need to get him healed. His wounds look...awful. I'd recommend you get going Erehn. And think about what you've done."
- Astrid would sheathe her blade and pick up Xyth softly. Doing the same thing that he had done for her before oh so long ago
- "You're going to be alright, Xyth. Come on...we need to get his wounds healed. Let's cease this violence."
- Before leaving, she peers over to Erehn. Her glare becoming one of deep frustration and disappointment
- "Leave. Before I change my mind."
- (Astrid cos Salis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:07] Skylar Azar says, "I..I'll be right back Uri."
- [21:14] He sighs, looking at the people around him. Wondering just when this will end... He looks to Xyth, down on the ground and bleeding... "I need to tend to him," he says in reply to Astrids words, wondering what would come after.
- "Erehn, this shouldn't have happened, he's not your enemy, he's someone who grew up with you... Listen to reason..."
- He holds out Xyth's wounded arm, "And stop dwelling in darkness!" He shouts as he wished not to see the brothers fight. But here they were, upon the ship, battling each other and all.
- "You were his brother Erehn… He loved you," said the Captain.
- There, Uri remained waiting for the trauma kit from Skylar.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:14] Skylar IS out of breath
- (Skylar Azar)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:19] Jade hues forcused on the fallen brother and those around him. The look in Erehn's eyes was one any comrade of his was familiar with, it was the urge to kill whoever he needed to, all to protect those he cared about... It was present when they were on Los'tal and there when he was ending non-magi to fight a way out for Xyth. But something was off. It seemed there was a tinge of regret for how things had transpired.
- "The only people i care about is family. I COULDN'T GIVE A DAMN IF THE WORLD WAS BEING TORCHED AROUND ME AS LONG AS I WAS KEEPING MY FAMILY SAFE! None of you are family."
- The revolver he called Perseverance which he purchased with help from all of his brothers was holstered dropped before he left. A revolver that once belonged to a man who cared only for his family. Perseverance helped him through the worst of times, it served him well until the end. He turned around toprepare to leave but stood there for a second to think about what he's done. "I loved him too."
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:23] Astrid simply looks upon Erehn with grief and melancholy. A sigh of relief exuding from her breath as she watches him walk away
- "...."
- She would still be holding Xyth in her arms. Someone who she thought of as a brother too, it seemed. Especially considering the loss of her own blood brother...in a way, Astrid was seemingly trying to fill that hole in her heart..
- "...Let's get you fixed up."
- The girl says these words meekly as she follows Uri to wherever they were supposed to go. Astrid's words were blank, almost monotone. Perhaps she was tired of this violence...tired of seeing those she had cared about get hurt or end up dead. Perhaps she was used to such things now...
- "Uri, let's go"
- (Astrid cos Salis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:29] Nothing was to be said. Erehn's words of anguish would be striking the room. But also her.
- "Erehn, I consider my friends family. That includes you." She said as she turned towards the departing felinae.
- But she was hesitant to follow, sending a gaze towards Xyth.
- "I'm sorry our political discussion turned out like this. We can resume on a later date." Waving them off, she would depart with Erehn. Orca's wave might not be seen but it was genuine.
- "Until next time. May you choose the right decisions."
- And so she departed with a broken Erehn.
- (Orca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:33] Uri approached Erehn as he spoke about the issue at hand.
- "You don't get it Erehn… We are family, we always have been since we were Cadets at the Academy, why can't you see that?" He would have to knock some sense into the feline male if time was on his side....
- He looked to Xyth, bleeding and before him...Erehn.
- "Why can't you see that all of this is madness? That leaving him like that only means that you never saw him as such..." He said this, and so, he prepared to fight.
- "Erehn, the spirits are in tears for what they witnessed," said Uri, not trying to detain Erehn at this point but to fight him showing him that they were brothers even if they shared no blood ties.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:37] Erehn was about to leave but was stopped by Uri, the man who had been with him from the start and saved his life.
- ". . . ."
- From what he did to his brother who Erehn was confident he ended, the felinae knew that things could never go back to normal after all he's done. He was silent as he turned to face Uri. He was as he prepared to use what little skill with magic he had to leave fight for his freedom to go back to his sons to hopefully forget about his past family.
- (Erehn Linnaeus)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:40] {Won RPB against Erehn Linnaeus}
- [21:41] Astrid shakes her head at the surrounding conflict. More fighting, hm? More needless bloodshed...
- And for what reason?
- "..."
- She stays silent, opting to walk away to the infirmary with Xyth in her arms. Opting to stay with him for the time being as she tries her best to tend to his wounds and ease his pains to the best of her abilities. While she wasn't a Medic, she was at least able to perform first aid well enough to keep him stable
- "....You'll be okay, Xyth. I'm here for you."
- (Astrid cos Salis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:45] Upon the start of their 'Brotherly Reminder' the images of their youth flashed through Uri's eyes as he remembers the day he and Erehn made fun of the Knights so called honorable code... Their trials on Los'tal, the many adventures they had shared.... Having to save Erehn from execution and more...
- All of it, went through Uri's head as the reminder he gave Erehn was nothing more than to take his own gun and slap him with it upside his own head, leading to a fiery victory... One where Uri stood only a few feet away from Erehn, now yelling the words he's been trying to get across in both heart and spirit.
- "You're his brother Erehn! You're supposed to love and support one another not shoot em'... This isn't the old days... We're not like our ancestors... Repeating a history in shambles!"
- He then tosses the gun back to Erehn, making his way out of the arena... There was no hostile intent, thus the reason Uri did not try to injure Erehn… He wanted to give him a brotherly reminder and so he did...
- "Oracle and the others... Their spirits are in shackles because of this divide... Hurting their resting place more than the people who killed them..." Of course, he'd expect them to be off of his ship if no one could be civil.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:47] Orca just stood aside, waiting at the arena's exit as this was but another private matter to her. And it had been resolved, right?
- (Orca)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [21:52] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr28xHYLW3A
- The sheer inferno coming from Uri caused the felinae to close his eyes to out of reflex, but when he closed his eyes he was back in the dojo with all of his fellow Knights. He was talking with Uri about how most of those people weren't going to make it and that the Knights were meatheads. Suddenly, he was flung back by more fire magic and barely able to stand. But he mustered up the last of his strength and persevered like he always did. It was his curse. When Erehn got closer to Uri, he closed his eyes yet again but this time he was in his house with all of his brothers, though he was leaving to go tell Uri about his latest event.
- With every salvo of magic fired towards Uri, the hatred that had grown into resentment for Xyth grew into resentment for himself, for what he was, for what he had become. He was still the same felinae longing for a better place, but it would prove to be the thing that would kill him in theend.
- When Uri took away Perseverance and then gave it back, Erehn did not pick it up. It no longer served it's purpose. Not in his hands.
- To hear Uri bring up Oracle made his tears finally start flowing, breaking down into sobbing while the hatred kept him staring at one of the people he was supposed to die for.

- [21:53] Erehn brought up his torched, beaten, bruised body and shambled towards home.

- [21:53] Orca says, ". . ."
- [21:54] Orca picked up Erehn's memento to his past, stashing it in her knapsack to keep until Erehn finds his purpose again.

- [21:58] Skylar could do nothing but watch as everything happened. She clenched her fist and gritted her teeth because she couldn't help but to blame herself for all this.
- Her outburst was what had caused this whole situation in the first place...now Xyth was hurt and Uri was fighting Erehn. She wished she had just kept her mouth shut during the meeting, or better yet not attended at all.
- People had misplaced their trust in her..Gregory...the Godless Banner...they all saw her as some diplomat. Someone who could rouse others with their voice.
- But she'd failed at that, she'd been unable to get others on the ship to see things her way and now there was nothing but fighting, the very thing that she was trying to stop.
- After everything Skylar rushed forward and tugged on Uri's arm.
- "Uri..please. Stop..Let's just go"
- she said wrapping her arms around his body and attempting to pull him away from the scene, away from more fighting.

- [22:02] The stars had guided Uri to this point... Looking at the gun that had dropped there before him. But, of course, even if Uri could hold this piece of Erehn's heart, the old Erehn… Another was willing, a friend, someone who held a sort of sympathy to protect Erehn… Something was within her soul, within her heart to travel with him this far, and to wherever he may go...
- Uri gazed at those hands, it was from Orca, and of course... He wouldn't do anything to stop it. In fact, his words, his motion, his sights and facial expression. All of which were moods of encouragement. Looking at Erehn, for his point at got acrossed, even if he had to burn that brother of his..
- "A piece of you will always remain... And close it will be," he referred to Orca... Then, he turned his eyes to Skylar, but before she had even gotten to him... The battle had already been won.
- "Skye... There is no need to worry... Erehn, is still in there, deep and faded, but he is not gone completely... And I will always... -Always- Drag a brother of mine out of darkness," Uri said those words as Erehn left the scene.
- The flames around him would go from a raging blaze, down to a collection of embers until finally... Nothing but hot air and stardust. For it was that hand that remained, dead but still attached to Erehn, the memories, the revolver, and the companions willing to restrain themselves just to see a tiny piece of Erehn's past self show. This, was his family, for better or for worse. This was Osilot.
