>be anon, currently watching TV in your living room, wrapped up in a small blanket, decorated with question marks from The Riddler, watching TV as you sip on some hot chocolate.
>You smile as you exhale and watch the hot breath visibly appear in front of you, before going for another sip.
>A really strong storm was currently passing through your town, so strong that school has been cancelled for the next two days.
>Not that you were complaining, of course.
>In the kitchen was your big sister, Chara, who had come over from college to take care of you, since mom and dad were currently on a business trip down south, and would be staying there an extra day
>Chara had been worried, due to the distance to the college she attended, but when she learned that classes there were cancelled as well, she eased up and began to prepare for the storm that was to come.
>It was already pretty late, and you were thinking about heading to bed soon, since there weren't any good shows on…
>Stupid nick at nite showing those dumb adult shows…
>"Ready to go to bed soon, 'Nonny?" Chara asked as she finished cleaning up the dishes from the dinner she made.
>"Yeah!" You responded back, standing up and holding your now empty cup, "there's nothing good on anyway…"
>Chara smiled at you and took the cup, before putting it on the table and yawning, "Yeah, nothing good on nowadays. C'mon, let's go upstairs and get you tu-"
>Suddenly, a loud crack interrupted her from outside, along with all the lights in the house flickering rapidly a few times before immediately going out.
>The TV also went static for a moment before instantly shutting off.
>You yelped loudly and wrapped the blanket around you tighter, getting behind Chara as she took out her phone and turned on the flashlight on it.
>"It's okay Anon! Don't be scared, the power just went out." She reassured you.
>"Probably won't be back on until the storm eases up.." She muttered to herself before putting a hand on your shoulder and slowly leading you upstairs.
>"You okay, 'Nonny?" She asked softly, with you nodding in return but still shaking a little bit.
>Chara took note of this as the two of you approached the bedroom. You open up the door and quickly get into bed, under the covers as Chara giggles a little.
>"Aww… the storm will get less intense before the night ends, don't worry Anon."
>"...hey. Want me to sing to you, just like back then?" She asked softly. You nod quickly, holding your smaller Riddler blanket close as you smile up at her.
>She then clears her throat and begins to softly sing a song from when you were much younger… one you still remember fondly… before she left for college…
>...one that quickly puts you to sleep, with Chara still softly singing until it's her turn to go to sleep.
>She kisses your forehead before she walks out of the bedroom, smiling at you before closing the door.
