  1. Hello this is a simple guide created based on Thephoneixroyal's INFO given on Reddit to help you get better performance on older CPUs and GPUs.
  2.
  3. Step 1 = Make sure to Apply "https://github.com/yamashi/PerformanceOverhaulCyberpunk/releases" Especially for AMD CPUs
  4.
  5. Step 2 = Locate your game's main folder
  6. On steam right click on the game and click on properties then go to the Local Files tab and click on Browse Local Files
  7.
  8. Step 3 = If you are in the main game's Folder you should to see REDpreLauncher.exe
  9. locate the "Engine" Folder then "Config" and open "memory_pool_budgets.csv" via notepad or your Text editor of choice.
  10.
  11. Step 4 = Adjust Poolcpu's amount Based on "Your maximum ram - 4 GB" then Adjust the PoolGPU's Amount based on your Maximum Vram Amount.
  12. (if you wanna be on the safer side and not get low memory error that windows might throw at you, use task manager and see how much free ram is available when windows IS operating without any extra software or game open.)
  13. Example of adjusted File based on 16GB of ram and GTX 1080 = https://imgur.com/a/5EYoTuQ

  26. Personal Opinion "I'm not a technical coder nor am I an extreme tech-savvy guy, I studied Computronic Engineering in the University 6 years ago I know my way around simple config settings and codes of servers and such nothing more, all credits of this guide goes to Thephoneixroyal on Reddit and Yamashi on GitHub, what I did was read certain posts and compiled each that worked for me and gave them an easier Step by Step guide for people to use."
