Chapter 1 - You Poor Fool
So, you've fallen in love with an evil mastermind and or have been forced into a relationship with one. If it's the first read on, if it's the latter, sucks to be you. Now, step one is to make sure this isn't an enchantment spell, and that you've really fallen in love with them. This can be accomplished by finding an Antimagic Field or getting someone to cast Dispel Magic on you. If you cannot determine this, I apologize and recommend you read on. Now, you must determine what level of evil mastermind you're dealing with. A Tier 1 Mastermind is your stereotypical evil type. They generally dont care much for you, although this is not always the case, and would probably sacrifice you if necessary. They are typically characterized by destructive master plans and abusive tendencies alongside gaslighting. I recommend cutting your losses and leaving if possible, although they might kill you to buy your silence so take this advice with skepticism. A Tier 2 Mastermind on the other hand might care for you, and actually put your safety as a priority. They are usually characterized by actual moral character and a plan that although highly destructive is for some twisted version of the greater good. Staying with them is a decision for you to make, although beware of heroes coming to fight them as you can be used as a hostage if not combat capable. Tier 3 Masterminds are the tamest of the bunch, and usually do care about you a great deal and have a good chance of putting you before their plans. They are usually characterized by an actual lack of evil intent and plans that will not cause much harm on the grand scale. This is the relationship I find myself in and so may be a bit biased when I say you can have fulfilling relationships with such Masterminds and help keep them in check.
