  6. As the saying goes: "All roads lead to Rome". Here is a possibility:

  8. There can be two ways to "derive" the same meaning from that simple paragraph.
  9.  
  10. 1) There is an indirect way. A stereotype is that "asians work hard". "Fluffy the AlSatIAN worked hard". (That is what leapt out at me upon glancing at it! That might occur to people on an "unconscious" or at least "unspoken" level.)
  11.  
  12. 2) There is a direct way. It seems to be associating people *with* animals (putting them on the *same* level). I have been seeing "advertising" on billboards about the place where I live that are of dogs and pets but the ad is intended for humans. (Such as a dog making human insurance decisions.)

  14. (I haven't paid close attention to it so can't give you a precise/specific example - but have noticed the "pattern" of equivocating animals with humans.)

  16. So in this case "the people and the animals worked hard and the problem got solved quickly!"

  18. We have two ways (conscious and unconscious) of arriving at the *same thought/idea*.

  20. Each time a person reads a paragraph like that they get a "repetition" of the suggestion that "dogs/animals and humans do the same things".

  22. I'm likely wording this poorly and need to write it out properly. (I'll catch up with everything else today!)

  24. (The "more ways" a person can "arrive at an idea" [including in a dreamlike manner] the more profoundly and deeply it has the potential to affect and influence them.)
