The Law defines that Parliament is not Sovereign.
1. SOVEREIGNTY resides in the Crown.
2. The CONSTITUTION give SUPREMACY to the Law not Parliament.
3. The Coronation Oath is the contract by which we must be governed. It secures the supremacy of the Law over both Parliament and the Crown.
4. The Accession Declaration Oath further defines the limitations of the Crown TO CONFORM WITH SPECIFIC LAWS.
5. The Rule of Law defines that we live under the Parliamentary system which has vital democratic elements.

Sir Winston Churchill wrote of Magna Carta:

“The underlying idea of the sovereignty of law, long existent in feudal custom, was raised by it into a doctrine for the national State.  And when in subsequent ages the State, swollen with its own authority, has attempted to ride roughshod over the rights or liberties of the subject, it is to this doctrine that appeal has again and again been made, and never, as yet, without success.”
