- Somewhat recently, twitch cut ties with their old t-shirt partner for the partner t-shirt campaigns and instead partnered up with Amazon Merch, allowing for twitch partners to create and start a t-shirt campaign to expand the width of the stream to more than just video content.
- I've been in a bit of a streaming drought, having not streamed a lot and as a result dropped significantly in subscribers. However, having a t-shirt representing my stream seems like something rather awesome and I would love to have one. So, I am gonna be aiming at building up a sub base for 100 sub points and once that is achieved, I'll start the plans for the t-shirt campaign. This means that:
- ♦ Once 100 sub points have been achieved, I will contact the artist about it and start getting the art for the shirt done. This means that you won't be able to buy a shirt the second we hit 100 points.
- ♦ Sometimes doing art takes a bit of time, and the artists tasked with doing the piece might have other things on their plate as well. So as a result, it can take some time, and by the time the shirt is ready to ship, I may not even have 100 subs anymore.
- I am still gonna wait until 100 points for the simple reason that it wouldn't feel right to just come back out of nowhere, launch a t-shirt campaign and then disappear off again. Getting 100 sub points first also indicates that people have an actual interest in my content and in maybe getting a shirt for themselves. Just seems like the best mutual benificial solution.
