DFRP Ritual

Jess has cleared the hotel room of couch, chairs and carpet. Her mantle lays on the bed and she slowly goes through a tai-chi esque motion to mentally prepare her for casting the spell. On the ground is a large map of the city, inside of a artistically drawn magic circle in eastern style ( http://media.tumblr.com/c967d7efbe858f2e972f5c650e7ff982/tumblr_inline_n9n1u6qSnw1sjx66d.jpg ) edged by a live flame, a glas of water, a piece of wood, a rock and a metal knife. On the map itself is a smal blob of jelly, with Miele's hair inside.


Jess: ((Uber declaration to make up for Dificulty :P)


Mathias K. (GM): ((Acceptable.))


Jess ends the motions as she draws deep breaths, sweat running down her dark skinned arms, chest and visible stomach. Dark clothed and rune-stitched fighting bandages can now be seen covering her forearms until they merge with her fighting globes. For those with magic senses, she is obviously already calling in magic as she interlocks her fingers before the circle and snaps it into full power, beginning the ritual


Jess: ((I'll go with 3 3er and 1 2er power charge))


Mathias K. (GM): (Alright.)


Jess:

Mathias K. (GM): ((Alright, that's a go.))


Jess begins to chant a low tone, sounding basically asian but like no modern language anyone of you might have heard. Slowy, her interlocked fingrs move along, switching from one form to another as she continues to channel magic into the circle...the jelly blow with the hair inside begins to move on the map


Jess:

Mathias K. (GM): ((Again, success.))


Jess continues the chant, the jelly blob accelerates it sluggish motions as it rolls over the map even quicker, sometimes backtracking but getting more decisive every moment


Jess:

Jess breaks the rythm of the chant and starts another, faster, more aggressive chant, the jelly blob now zooming in compared to its first slug-like movement


Jess:

Narrator: As soon as the spell concludes, there's a buzzing in the back of Jess' mind. She has a sudden, intuitive sense of where the rest of the White Court vampire is. If she knew Istanbul that well she could probably point out which room in the building she was in.


Jess stops as she suddenly unlocks her fingers, ripping her hands outward and breaking the circle, unleashing the full might of the spell

Narrator: At the same time, the blob effigy of Miele suddenly starts moving around on the map, plopping itself right on her presumed location.


Jess takes a deep breath and wipes sweat of her brow
