Homecoming

Covet: Cadence pulled into the driveway in her Hummer, Baby B Strapped in tightly in the back. Felix was sitting up front, because he knew that Steph would want to sit in the back with the baby. "And we're home finally..." Cadence said softly as she turned off the engine. "How's my little guy doing back there?" She asked to Steph. // Felix was recording it all on his phone so that they could send it to Remy, since he was still busy with family things. "First day home, for Baby B. First tie meeting the doggos andseeing your fancy new house kid." He said as if the baby would understand him at all.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -Steph was leaned over in the backseat, her face hovering over the carseat as she wiggled her finger into Baby B's chest, trying to get a smile out of him. "Your little guy is being a very good boy." She said in a fucking baby voice before leaning up to look toward Felix's phone. "It's a big moment."-
Covet: "Considering they were fighting with me to be able to take him home, Yeah I'd say so." Cadence said, a little exhausted of dealing with the Hospital Staff today. She climbed out of the vehicle and made her way around to the back door opposite of Steph, since Baby B was in the middle facing backwards. She reached under and unlocked the car seat so she could just pull the whole thing out of the locking base. She tried not to jostle the baby around too much as she got him out of the Hummer// Felix looked over at Steph, "Yes it is. So many firsts, are the dogs going to be an issue when we get in?" He asked wondering if he should go ahead of the girls to make sure they were calm.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know why." She said in a raspy voice, her throat sore from singing so much over the weekend. "I doubt the dogs will be an issue. They're usually pretty good." She pushed her door open and slipped down out of the Hummer, grabbing her crutch to lean on. "Do you need help bringing anything in?" She offered like she would actually be of any help.-
Covet: "No, unless Felix can grab the backpack from off the floor here in the backseat." She said opting for a modern bag instead of the clunky old fashioned diaperbag. She started walking up to the house with Baby B in her arms, walking slowly along with Steph, "The dogs should be fine, they've been smelling Baby B on me all week, so they know his scent by now." // Felix got into the back and grabbed the backpack that Cadence spoke up and walked behind the girls, still with his phone in hand. "And this is the caravan up to your house, Remy. We've got everything under control here until you're able to get back."
Alexithymiaa: "Is the narration really necessary?" She asked over her shoulder at him as they continued up to the front door. Climbing the front steps slowly, she offered a hand to Cadence. "Give me your keys, I'll open the door for you."-
Covet: Cadence laughed, "Yeah really, Remy knows his own house." She said handing the keys over to Steph. Cadence looked down at Baby B and gave him a shhh, with a couple soft bounces as he stirred a little. // Felix held his phone towards the door, "Hey, I'm not talking to you guys, I'm talking to Remy. Okay. Jeeze." He said with a huff then moved the camera over the rim of the carseat so it could poke in, and get a view of the baby.
Alexithymiaa: -She took the keys from Cadence and opened the lock of the door, pushing it open so Cadence could walk ahead of them inside. "Remy doesnt need the narration either...." She mumbled, covering her mouth to let out a small cough.-
Covet: Cadence walked in to where both the dogs were at the door, sitting and wagging their tails, Titus only barking a couple of times as Cadence told him to hush. The loud barking made Baby B stir a little more his face scrunching up, the more upset he got. // Felix looked at the dogs, "Bad Titus... look what you did, you're gonna make the baby cry. Look at that little pissed off face starting to grow, you can definitely tell that's Remy's kid."
Alexithymiaa: "Shhhhhh." She leaned down to try to hush the dog before walking a little further into the house, glancing around. "Are we setting anything up?" She asked, leaning on her crutch.-
Covet: "Not necessarily, I didn't have any major plans other than to get him inside and relaxed for the night." Cadence said as she walked in and set the carseat down, so the dogs could inspect. They did so at mostly a distance, while Cadence reached down to get the itty bitty baby out. "You're so tiny still, and you look even smaller in this huge house." She told him, giving his back a pat a few times, he was still kind of fussing, she looked to Steph, "Do you want to sit and hold him while I get a bottle warmed up for him?" She asked Steph. // "Welcome home!" He said still filming all the stuff, even though there wasn't a whole lot going on. The dogs were still very interested in this new squirming crying thing that was brought home.
Alexithymiaa: -She nodded her head very quickly, moving eagerly over to the couch to take a seat so she could put her arms out in acceptance of Baby.-
Covet: Cadence couldn't help but laugh as she handed Baby B over to Steph. He squirmed and fussed a little but, nothing more than he already had been. Cadence made her way into the kitchen to warm up some of the frozen breast milk she'd put into the freezer for Baby B. // Felix sat down and watched Steph giving her a smile, "You're such a good Aunt. This kid is already spoiled by you, and I can see it'sjust going to keep getting worse." He said with a chuckle watching her.
Alexithymiaa: -She cradled him in her arms, staring down into his little face as she gently rocked him. She was doing the fucking face she makes when she looks at him again, slowly glancing up at Felix. "You think I'm a good aunt?"-
Covet: Cadence had the hot water going in the sink to warm up the breast milk by letting it sit in a tub of continuious warm water until it was to the temperature she needed it at so she could put it into the bottle for Baby B. // Felix looked at Steph, "Uh.. Yeah? Are you kidding. This kid is probably the luckiest kid on earth, because you're his aunt."
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled widely at him, trying not to get emotional even though he said nice things to her. "Thank you. That means a lot to me." She said before looking back down at the baby, just staring at his little face.-
Covet: Once the milk was up to temp, she put it into the bottle and shook it up a few times, just to make sure it was plenty cool, before she brought it out and handed it to Steph, "I'll let you do the honors, since he looks pretty comfortable with you right now." She said sitting down, to give the dogs loves, because they needed the reassurance now that there was a new focus of attention in the house. // Felix rose an eyebrow, "Really? I mean, I knew it was important to you, I just didn't think it was something that meant a lot."

Alexithymiaa: -She shifted a bit so she could take the bottle from Cadence, looking back down at Baby B as she gave him the bottle. "Thanks. I've been looking forward to feeding him." She said before answering Felix. "Well... it does. A lot."-
CovetCovet : "Are you trying to make her cry over there?" Cadence asked raising an eyebrow as she looked at Felix. // "What? No! I was just saying she was a good aunt, and apparently that means something to her... I'm just as confused as everyone else here." Felix said scoffing.
Alexithymiaa: "No one else is confused, Arizona." She said through a sniffled laugh, tipping her head to the side to check the level of the milk left in the bottle.-
Covet: "Yeah... You sure you want this one without a brain, Steph?" She asked her watching Steph feed Baby B. // Felix glared at them both, "Excuse you, just because I don't have a brain, doesn't give you the right to mock me... that's called ableism you know."
Alexithymiaa: -She lifted her eyes from the baby to glance at Felix, watching him for a moment. "Pretty sure. Besides, he might not have a brain, but I don't have a heart so we match." She smiled at him before looking back down at Baby B. "He's almost done. Do you want me to burp him?"-
Covet: "Ah, now I get it" Cadence said then reached for the backpack that Felix had brought in, to pull out one of the burp cloths. "If you want to, If not I can take him and do it. It shouldn't be terribly messy or anything." // "Even if you didn't get it, I wouldn't care. We get it and that's all that matters." Felix turned off the recording and gave a bit of a yawn, "Kid's probably got burping down like a champ too."
Alexithymiaa: -She reached out to take the burp cloth, tossing it over her shoulder before passing the bottle to Felix to hold, gently shifting Baby B up onto her shoulder so she could pat his back. "You conveniently said that after you turned the video off."-
Covet: Cadence leaned back on the couch and relaxed a little, watching Steph with Baby B, then rolled her eyes at Felix's comment. " Yeah, what the hell, that coudln't be said beforehand?" // "It's not like it's a bad thing. We're boys... we do boy things... burping is one of those things. We learn to master it at a young age." Felix explained, holding onto the bottle. "wait... is this milk from you or?"
Alexithymiaa: (MILK FROM YOU. IM DEAD.)
Covet: [XD he's like... I don't know how to feel about holding my girlfriend's best friends boob milk right now.]
Alexithymiaa: -She slowly turned her head to stare at Felix while continuing to burp the baby, just kind of gawking at him. "You mean... breast milk? Yes Arizona, it's breast milk." She eyed him before glancing down at baby again. "I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I've actually heard you burp."-
Covet: "Yes, it's my tit milk Felix." Cadence said flatly because who's else would it be dude. "If it bother's you to hold it, you can hand it over to me." She said holding her hand out. // Felix looked down at the bottle then over at Cadence, "Yeah....because this is awkward.... I don't burp around you, that's why. It's a guy thing."
Alexithymiaa: -She rolled her eyes, shaking her head and lowering the baby when she heard him burp a few times. "We live together. I know you burp. You don't exactly have to hide your bodily functions because I'm a woman. What happened to equality?" She asked sarcastically because honestly no one WANTS to be present for burps and farts. "Do you want to take him?" She asked Cadence.-
Covet: "Sure, I'll take him back" Cadence said moving over to Steph, cradling Baby B in her arms as she held him close and rocked him in her arms, "Remy doesn't hold anything back when he's at home, this is his comfort zone." She said. // Felix held the bottle out away from himself, "I'll just go put this on the counter then..." He said then spoke louder for Steph to hear him as he walked away, "Yeah, exactly. I do, and I'm not hiding it from you, or anything, it's just it comes out more when I'm around the guys."
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -She passed the baby back and rolled her shoulders to loosen up since she'd been holding him for a while. "That's appropriate though. You're supposed to feel comfortable in your own home." Reaching for her crutch, she pulled herself up to her feet. "We should probably let you put him to bed so you both can get some sleep."-
CovetCovet : Cadence kissed the top of Baby B's head and nodded at Steph and Felix. "Yeah, I'll be up for a little bit still, but I'll be out not long after he is." She said. "Thank you guys for helping me welcome him home. I know it's not a big shindig or anything, but it was nice and cozy and that was more needed than excitement." She told them yawning as well. // "No problem Cadence. Happy to help out. I'll get this sent to Remy once we're back at our place." He said holding up his phone as he got up to help Steph to her feet.
Alexithymiaa: "We wouldnt have missed Baby B's homecoming for the world." She said with a smile, shifting a bit to lean on Felix. "I'm going to set my alarm for five so I can be back to help you with him so you can get more sleep. I know he's going to be up every few hours. And then once you've gotten enough sleep I can get out of your hair." She said with a nod before turning to Felix. "You need to drive me in the morning."-
Covet: "Thanks Steph. We'll both be down here then. I'll just have him sleep in the rocker swing, and I'll be on the couch. That way you don't have to rush up the stairs or anything." Cadence told her as she got up and moved Baby B into the swing, getting him all bundled up in a blanket, while the dogs found spots to sleep near by. // Felix looked at Steph and gave a pout, "What? At five? Why do I have to be up that early? That's cruel and unusual punishment and there better be donuts to remedy this in the morning." He said with a glare at her as he headed for the door to get it opened for her.
Alexithymiaa: "Perfect. If you're asleep I'll just come right in and get a bottle warmed up. You won't have to worry about him until I go home." She said before looking at Felix. "Because I need to get here early and how else am I supposed to get here if you don't drive me?" She asked with a look because it seemed so obvious to her even though ANDRE SAID YOU COULD DRIVE, BITCH. Giving him a pat, she started out the door. "You can pick up donuts on your way home from dropping me off."-
Covet: "Thanks Steph. I'll see you guys in the morning." She said with a yawn and a wave as she kicked her shoes off and laid on the couch. // Felix scoffed, "I'm not driving you after tomorrow. It's not that far and Andre said you need to start doing it. I'll do it for you tomorrow.. and any other longer distances, but you can drive from our place to here. You'll do good." He told her patting her on the head as he walked her out, closing the door behind them.
