  1. [01:56] Walking next to Lady Jeanne and offering her a respectful nod, the Knight would cross his arms some.
  2.
  3. Wondering if he should inquire a bit on her terms.... though he felt like if she wanted him to know anything, then he'd be the first to know, trusting in her instincts.
  4.
  5. "Things been lookin' alright on your side, Lady Exarch? Ya took things pretty hard with the rest o' us... Ain't used to seein' ya Exarchs riled an' shook up that fierce."
  6. (Robin lei Queen)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. [02:09] With a small narrowing of her eyes, Agrien followed Atlas frown from the tip of his sword to his very eyes, as a smile came to her face; an understanding one nonetheless.
  10.
  11. "You're more than right. Though that's something I haven't asked you about yet, I suppose. Is there a specific technique you use for wielding a claymore - yours - in particular?" the girl asked as she motioned to the sword itself before resting her hand back on her tight. "I'm not supposing you hold a front guard stance with it, since I've designed her less for piercing and more for slashing. So...A low guard?"
  12.
  13. The ginger glanced over at Iroh as well, motioning with her head as if to call him to join the conversation as well.
  14.
  15. "I've never held a sword before if not for delivering them to my clients, do you know a thing or two of stances and guards, sir?" Agrien asked, this time to Iroh as she held the conversation with both men by now.
  16. (Agrien Vandroy)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [02:10] Paca Kuma exclaims, "Yu!"
  20. [02:10] Yu asks, "Hnnguh?"
  21. [02:10] There's a sharp, almost unnerved exhale that busts out inadvertently from behind Jeanne's pursed lips. As if she had been storing away pent up tension for quite some time, only for it to be released upon Robin poking one of her pressure points. Her tired gaze regards him, which although vaguely languid in comparison, is still as unmistakably implacable.
  22.
  23. "Missing that shot, exposing my guard, and allowing one of ours to be kidnapped is unbecoming of my title." She's pensive and eternally spiteful of her lack of grace upon resulting victorious. Their spoils of war, in comparison, were sparse and of little worth. "I need to work twice as hard. I swear on my life I shan't miss a second time."
  24.
  25. A light, dismissive shake of her head, as Jeanne seems to sulk further for a moment.
  26.
  27. "Whom I'm truly concerned about is Elijah. Ever since Soma's been felled, he's grown twice as vicious." A pause. "Bless him, he's in a crusade of his own. Justice is a path merely a hair away from vengeance, yet I trust his wisdom and nerve more than anything."
  28.
  29. The spotlight, had to have been off from her. She had lost a brother, yet none could know. Towering, menacing, and seemingly stoic to the world around her, Jeanne had vowed to remain a persona of her own projection. Deep down? Oh, how vulnerable she'd be. Dread rid her of clarity in solace.
  30.
  31. "There's a lot on my mind, is all."
  32. (Jeanne Stallard)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [02:12] Atlas tilts his head, "For someone who doesn't use a sword you know them pretty well, I do usually take a low guard stance. I might bring it high if I want to go for an overhead, but that leaves me very vulnerable" As Atlas says this he points to his permanently blind eye
  36.
  37. He glances over at Iroh, "hello there sir, how are you today?"
  38. (Atlas Daromir)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [02:13] Eustace blinks! Glancing over towards Estellise.
  42. (Eustace)
  43. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  44.
  45. [02:13] Eustace whispers something.
  46.
  47. [02:15] Kuma gave a quick glance over towards the walking mummy. His heart sunk a little when he first caught glance of them, as the worry from before at the hospital returned. With a large gulp, he'd cautiously approach. The fact that the medic was so close gave him some relief, so the boy didn't freak out as much when he noticed that Yu seemed to be bleeding again under the bandages.
  48.
  49. Giving the mummy like bandaged person a light wave, he'd way to see what the medic would do.
  50. (Paca Kuma)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [02:15] She looked over towards Jeanne silently, as if judging. She understood how hard Soma's death had hit Elijah, to the point where he was in charge of all of Soma's many sisters - but Jeanne was a mystery. A puzzle. Perhaps one best left to solve another day.
  54.
  55. "I'll be off now. Dame Stallard, I do still need to discuss with you something severely important," She reminded before looking towards Yu once more. "Please follow me," She offered with a motion. She only hoped Eustace understood what she had meant only a little bit earlier.
  56.
  57. With that said, she made off for the North.
  58. (Erika cos Salis)
  59. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  60.
  61. [02:15] Jeanne Stallard says, "We shall do so soon. Please, go ahead."
  62. [02:15] Jeanne Stallard says, "And good job."
  63. [02:16] Paca Kuma asks, "I'm coming as well right Miss Medic?"
  64. [02:16] Erika cos Salis says, "If you wish."
  65. [02:16] Jeanne Stallard says, "Please regard her as Ser Erika, or Lady, as per her titles are."
  66. [02:17] Once again, two thumbs are given to Kuma as the mummy began to follow behind Erika. Radiating energy, pure. Energy.
  67. (Yu)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. [02:17] Jeanne Stallard says, "I asure you, she's deserving of them all by a wide margin."
  71. [02:17] She blinked. Oh, right. Some days she forgot she was noble, simply due to what she handled on a near daily basis.
  72. (Erika cos Salis)
  73. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. [02:21] Looking to Jeanne some again as she gave her run down of those reoccurring events that plagued her mind again and again Robin would begin to realize just how crucial this job was to certain members of the Order, and also how that people bearing similar convictions to what she held should be looked up to and revered.
  76.
  77. Allowing a moment or two to pass by of him simply digesting what she'd said it would be quite evident there was some contemplation placed within what had gone on today and what it meant for the rest of them.
  78.
  79. "You an' me both, Lady Jeanne... I need to get a full hang o' my blade after taking it up.. I didn't even get a lock on a single member there. It's a damned shame to do all this practice an' not be able to wrangle em in.
  80.
  81. Justice ain't dealt just yet.. but you're right about us needin' to make sure it ain't corrupted an' twisted into somethin' cruel. It's not what Soma fought for, an' it's not why we clip our armor on each mornin'."
  82.
  83. Placing a supportive hand on the shoulder of the LARGE woman, he'd hope she didn't take his agreement and consolation the wrong way as he spoke mutually.
  84.
  85. "If ya need to clear your head? I'd love to trade sword blows with ya sometime. It might be the level o' productive both o' us need.. Though either way, I intend to step my game up fully."
  86. (Robin lei Queen)
  87. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  88.
  89. [02:42] The Dame Exarch Knight's predatory sienna stare, now offering a more sincere angle of its irises, briefly bares the countenance of grief. In what appeared to be a blink-and-you-missed it instance of clear bereavement and lament on her part, Jeanne's own attitude shifted back right away, adopting her often unphased, stalwart-like aspect of stoicism. There is some warmth to it, however, in the way her eyes would find themselves poised atop Robin's.
  90.
  91. "I still haven't gotten over, it - you know?" She shares, desperate for sharing a piece of mind. Her insides crying out, chipping away at the inner side of her thick cortex. "Ever since Som-" Jeanne makes a brief, stuttering pause before regarding the fallen knight nude of his title. "...Ser Duran's passing, I've felt like I'm in control of nothing around me. Like my hands… no, my entire body… like they're not large enough to reach nor cover fire for any one whose welfare I keep in high priority."
  92.
  93. Ironically, Jeanne stood well over a foot above average height, making the poetic dissociation all the more bleak. In time, Robin's words grant some reassurance, perhaps not only through the content of his thoughts, but via his thick accent and lack of tightness in attitude. Part of it almost reminds her of a younger iteration of the Exarch Stallard, before the order, before she'd set her standards so high.
  94.
  95. As no more than a lowborn brat, tossing long winded insults and pulling pranks on members of the city watch. How long had it been since Jeanne had last called a Constable a slobber-brained, nose-dripping yellow-snow eating baboon? The sheer thought causes the edge of her mouth to curl up into a simper in response.
  96.
  97. "I agree." She concedes, strangely. There's a pause in which Jeanne nods to herself twice, almost humorously. "Ah, you'll climb up the ladder in no time, Robin. My suspicion was correct."
  98.
  99. Though she's cryptic about it, her good word made full on sense.
  100.
  101. "I'll come to you for a session or two in due time, I thank you for your offer."
  102.
  103. Seemingly exhausted by then, it would seem Jeanne was ready to leave.
  104.
  105. "First thing in the morning." She impulsively schedules, already having pivoted onto her knee.
  106.
  107. "Do not eat breakfast. I don't want you throwing up."
  108. (Jeanne Stallard)
  109. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  110.
  111. [03:00] There was a mutual sense of respect passed to Jeanne as Robin's actions seemed to erode a bit of the grit surrounding her demeanor.
  112.
  113. Looking to her in a different light it seemed that he was truly looking forward to their training session. If anyone could teach him how to surpass his current level with swordplay, then it'd be an Exarch of great prowess and respectability such as she.
  114.
  115. "Aye. I'm lookin' forward to it then, an' I'm hopin' to prove ya right.. Though you're in luck about the breakfast thing.. I only eat tha' type of stuff when It's like..night.."
  116.
  117. There'd be a thankful nod of the man's head over off to them as he would wonder mildly about some of the kind of savage training that would spawn from keeping up toe to toe with her ranks.. Though he felt like with enough will and gusto to learn the style and to move on to the next step of his life this would be a definite leap in the correct direction.
  118.
  119. "Take care, Lady Jeanne. I'm sure ya don't need to hear it from me... but take care o' yourself. in the meantime.. yea?" a thumbs up was offered, before the man looked to Elijah some, also wondering if he should ask him for some pointers on the sword at some point.
  120. (Robin lei Queen)
  121. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  122.
  123. [03:00] Gin made his way over towards a nearby bench. He'd had a good day. From training with Sophie and Espa, to adventuring, and exploring, he made the choice to bring his day to a close. His second year of cadet-hood was finally closing, and time was moving forward. Closing his eyes, he pressed his back against the nearby wall and allowed his body to enter a temporary slumber.
  124. (Gin Fujiwara)
  125. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  126.
  127. [03:02] "Farewell, Robin. Until then." There's a brief nod before Jeanne begins to walk of. A pause, as she sniffs the air. Brow quirked.
  128.
  129. ...Could it be...?
  130.
  131. Nah.
  132.
  133. It was time to rest.
  134. (Jeanne Stallard)
