[08:40] The three in route had no particular orders besides what Zachary had in mind. It was supposed to be a routine patrol, but had just went sour. For Vincenzo that is.

He recognized that face. He was one of the members that he fought against in the raid to rescue Asphira!

"Solon, Iskan! On your toes, that one is of the Syndicate! This is not a drill, surround him!"

He called out to his comrades to take up arms and be on guard.

[08:46] It appears that the stars themselves weren't shining for Vincenzo nowadays. Not attempting to escape, but instead? He just rests his back against the stone wall behind him.

"... You know? It is ironic, really. I knew in advance that the hideout was compromised, yet I was ignored."

He speaks up, now resting his arms behind his nape.

"And when the attack eventually happened, and the smoke started filling the area? Not even a single mask was handed out my way. I had to use my own scarf, drenched in my own -blood-, just to be able to filter out the smoke."

He speaks up. His red eyes? Are now looking towards Zachary. Right now, he is just going to wait and see what the knight has to say.

[08:50] Shaking his head at Vincenzo, he'd look absolutely disappointed.

"Maybe I wasn't clear when I said to watch yourself. Now look where it's ended you. Being of the Syndicate should have shown you when the right time to run is." He'd say, sighing after.

"I guess if he knows that you're syndicate now, you didn't run away when they invaded. It's only your fault, then."

Readying a sword as he drops the pack, he wouldn't be poised to attack right away.

"Might as well surrender now, make it easy on us. I don't want to hurt anyone today." ending with a rather smug remark for even Iskan, he seems just annoyed that they've run into Vincenzo.

[08:52] Solon hears Zach call out to be on his toes. He swiftly unsheathes his blade, while rushing up the stairs. To see the man that he only knew as Caesar's friend. These fuckers are everywhere.

His month would grow into a smirk. His eyes go blank. A murderous aura is about him. He stands by Zach's side but he really looks like he wants to kill.

"Ah another one huh... Sucks to suck huh?" He would laugh after the monotone voice. That reeks murderer. It was demented and twisted.

"I would suggest you just come with up. I can't promise you will live if you don't..." The grin only grows larger.

The air around his bursts into flames, as he steps forward.

[08:59] It was always Zachary's dumb luck. He was always the find in the right place at the right time to encounter these knaves. Now was no different.

He drew his Rapier at the felinae. It clanked as it steadied. His eyes were lifeless and his expression dulled. He hadn't a care until...

Azure plumes of energy erupted from the Azure Knight. It was in a grander scale and full of fury empowered by his emotions and desire for carnage. He would be tempted to simply dispose of this traitor. That murderous intent lingered into the air.

"Your ignorance has landed you at the tip of my mithril." He began with a threat.

"To continue believing that those there with you when we rescued the maiden would so much as care if you died or not matters not!"

"What matters is NOW!"

"Surrender and come quietly, resist and I kill you where you stand!" The attempt to throw the felinae into imperil was clear.

[09:05] Vincenzo couldn't help but finding himself chuckling at Solon's comment. That laugh, that smirk, that look...

"Now, now. I haven't even raised my fists yet, yet I can still smell your violent urges to kill me from all over here. And here I thought the knights are supposed to bell ''just and righteous'' ah!"

With that said, he'll then turn his gaze towards Iskan. "The look of your friend, right there? Is why I ended up with the syndicate... I've grown sick and tired of the hypocrisy, the expression of someone that is looking down on you, yet still has the audacity to claim he's ''pure'' and 'just''... Bah! I may be rotten and prone to serve my own ends, but I at least know this to be true, rather than false carriers of ''justice'' like that!" A voice spoken out of anger, of distain... Once more, he is being looked down upon, treated like he is meant to be trash that is thrown away, never to be seen again.

A feeling that infuriates him, to no end.

Lastly, he'll turn towards the one who spotted him, and called for this surrounding, hearing his desire to kill, he retorts.

"How quickly you are willing to take away lives, the moment they dare act against you. Your people's bloodlust is more powerful than even that of the syndicate, heh... ''Justice is decided by the victor'', as they say."

With that said, oddly enough? The young felinae doesn't take a step. He is just standing there, looking at the group.

[09:15] Energy swept along the edge of the Rapier and prepared to strike. He heard the same lines over and over again from each of the members. Hypocrite this, justice that~ He was tired of it.

"Ygor had tried to reason with me before. Look where that ended him. You all use the same lines and dogma to back your terrorism. The people have had enough! There is more to Osrona than what meets the eye, you fool!"

Zachary would thrust his rapier to the side and launch an energy burst that did destroy part of the cliff in a mere instant. Rubble was tossed each way.

"This is your last warning."

"Kneel."

Zachary commanded the Felinae, as he amassed mana once more and aim it at Vincenzo.

[09:17] Iskan would throw his hand over his head as Zachary destroyed a bit of the cliff, giving Zachary a look as if he's saying 'what the fuck, man?'. Relaxing a bit, he'd look to Vincenzo and raise a brow.

[09:22] Off his heels! The Azure Knight would tackle the felinae and attempt to subdue him without much harm aside from supersticial injury. If he would resist, then it would be a battle of Magi.

[09:26] As they charge at the man, the one standing infront of them, what many of them would realize- Zachary in particular- is that they rushed straight into a now non-existing Vincenzo, with Zachary plummeting himself towards the stone wall!

There isn't a rule in magic that doesn't allow the possibility of someone speaking with his own illusionary clone, after all.

What's more, before allowing them the chance to turn around and actually spot the illusionist, a simple smoke bomb has been thrown at them now that they are clustered together against the wall- It was a ruse!

With that escape plan set in motion, the real Vincenzo, who has hid behind one of the trees, is now going to make his move and flee from the scene!

[09:31] Zachary's knee flew into the wall, shattering yet another point of the cliff. Smoke, rubbed and dust littered the air around them now, and in s single swift swing of his Rapier gusts of wind cleansed their sight.

Vincenzo had disappeared. He played them like a game and mocked them. This made Zachary angry, so angry he turned to the side and launched a terrifying energy beam into the woodland.

"Bastaard!" He shouted out.

[09:31] Not really seeing a point in charging at Vincenzo, he'd stand at the ready. Though what he didn't expect was the real Vincenzo that ran straight past him. Not being anywhere near fast enough, Iskan would just turn to face the direction that Vincenzo ran off, only barely taking a step before realizing that there's no way he'd catch up. He just.. Stands there for a moment, then turns to look at his... Very overly aggressive comrades, curiously.

"What the hell was that, you two? You're knights, not bloodthirsty brutes."
He'd say, attempting to admonish them. He'd look back to where Vincenzo ran briefly and just let out a breath of air, as if dispelling the tension that was over him.

[09:32] As everyone stepped forward to begin the assault. A large puff of smoke would rise from nowhere. Blocking his vison. He didn't stop his rush and you could hear a faint snap through the clinging of metal. Soon afterwards a explosion would ring out. It echoed out.

The explosion was only barely to slow as the man slipped away. Solon stops in his tracks. "Damn it." Emotion comes back to his voice. His stance is normal.

He would look around with the Syndicate member nowhere to be seen.

[09:35] His magic quickly fades. He sheaths his blade. Turning the to group. "Ah Vincenzo... I shall not forget his name."

[09:38] He'd shake his head, something clearly bothering him.
"The Syndicate corrupts it's people. Vincenzo isn't a bad person, Zachary. Even still, going so far as to outright attempt killing him is... That's murder, Zachary. I have no problem bringing a friend in for fair trial, but like it or not he's still a citizen. What would people say if you just went around killing people in a fit of passion? This goes for you too, Solon. Control yourselves. You're Knights of The Order of the First Light, not some common mercenaries out for blood money."

Looking between the two sternly, it's clear he's not backing down on this.

[09:43] Zachary didn't face Iskan. He believed it's what made them different. Most notable that Zachary was a knight and he was not. He was clamed, yet he still held his blade. His tone was lighter.

"Iskan, you're asking to give mercy to a man who would not do the same for us."

"He can no longer be your friend. He turned his back on Osrona by participating in terrible deeds."

"He already hurt one of our comrades, I'd not risk it again. He would not show us the same treatment you're asking me to give him."

He slowed down now. His rapier lift up then pointed in to the sheathed and home it went. Then he turned to Iskan. His eyes met his.

"I'd rather kill one and save a-hundred."

"The reason I'm like that Iskan isn't due to me wanting to. When your friends, comrades in arms and citizens die. Its our fault. It is our job to end the threat looming over our Kingdom.

No matter what you think. People within the Syndicate will aim to kill. They did it to Soma. Why should I allow them a chance to kill another one. I might be a monster but that is only to those who have hurt me. That's why you haven't seen that side of me. Now if you keep pitying them you might even let one go. Only to kill you later due to your ignorance.

What's one petty live versus the betterment of all..." He voice didn't seem monotone like it normally is at a time like that. He is speaking truthfully. Not out of spite.
