- Festering horrors of the Occult were growing more common now, far too common for his liking.
- The rhoynur Deacon's search to hunt such horrors would stop as it acme across the familiar, hideous sight of Belfanur again. That little ball of putrid flesh seeming to have grown disturbingly taller than before, and much to his disdain?
- Another hel-creature accompanied it. The two humans besides them were yet to be discerned as friend or foe however.
- "You two." His voice directed out towards Gauche and Devlin, his hand beginning to raise, sparkling with the essence of his star. "Separate yourself away from these abominations, quickly."
- A chance for the two mortals given to step-aside from his intended targets, lest they show themselves to defiant to his request.
- (Acacius)
- Gauche had been observing the scene with a fair sum of interest, and if before it had been piqued, now he was enraptured. A prime opportunity to witness the exercise of violence unbridled, driven by the impellent force of law, faith and righteous prejudice.
- He grins,
- "Of course."
- and gawks. What a good day.
- (Gauche Arndt)
- His savior?
- Devlin drew a pull from his cigarette.
- A smoke cloud is forming.
- Tilting his head, his ears trembled at the slightest sound; he had no idea what they were saying. Another person who slept with veils over their eyes.
- "Another slumber, surely you are mistaking my Lord for something far worse. Abomination? There is royalty in front of you. Elegance. You are the one who is incorrect."
- He took a step forward, cracking his knuckles as a blizzard descended on them and wrath flashed before his eyes.
- "Lord, please let me deal with this one." He'll prove himself here.
- (Devlin Henka)
- Well, apparently the human would follow him? That.. Is allowed!
- But that was before they were well, targeted so to speak - by a figure recognizable by the Belfanur, one who wore the robes of Osrona, one that the abomination had to deal with before.
- Acacius.
- Which, got the attention of the young demon soon after its words echoed.. And at this moment, a terrible, putrid grin formed in the demonic visage, "Preyyyy.." His voice echoed, words being properly said this time, not primitive sounds - "Huuuuuuuunnnnt!" And at that instant he exclaimed, while electricity coursed through his body..
- And a shiv, yes a shiv.. It was pulled.
- He was ready this time.. And for that, already charged or rather, floated towards the Deacon! Ready to slash him with his claws and shiv.
- (Belfanur)
- The Big Bad Wolf was in the forests, following behind the meatball on their fabled adventures for food. And yet, there was a peculiar individual that seemed to be approaching.
- Their words brought amusement to Borris, how they believe they could order around others the voice of this beast managed to find its way into their mind as he began to speak "One dressed all in white, you one of those praying people? Prey that prays is prey."
- For there was no god here, no divine symbol waiting to bring about salvation in the name of the O' mighty lord. No, there was only Demons here. The most vial, the most spiteful, wrathful and hungry.
- Borris towered a mighty six feet, a few hundred pounds of pure muscle and anger seethed an intense heat from his core. The scent of smoke easily began to fill the area while an amused glance was given to Belfanur and then Devlin.
- "Let Belfanur have his fun, we are both very hungry. If they can't breakpast this one here, then our chance will arrive."
- (Borris)
- There's a slow inhale.
- Lupine ears fall back as the Ookami stares. That.. was probably the wolf he'd heard about.
- That..
- and his brother was there too.
- Blue eyes ever so slightly glow. A dim light.
- The air around him grows colder, there's an uncomfortable feeling in his chest, and that feeling of adrenaline-- and fear--
- it's rising.
- Shit.
- "Dev?" His voice fails him at first. A clawed hand raises, reaching forward.
- "Devlin?"
- (Rakki Henka)
- Armand skidded to a halt!
- (Armand lux Astor)
- Leon peers around Armand, azure slates shifting about those present to get a bead on what's going on.
- (Leon vey Pelleaux)
- Guache was quick to step aside. The Deacon was safe to assume that he hadn't been associated with these gaggle of creatures.
- The other boy however, Devlin brought a disgusted frown out of the clergyman.
- "You hold something more precious than any of these demons can ever possess, and you place yourself at their feet like a dog?
- Abysmal... I will open your eyes child."
- A human serving a demon was abhorrent. But at this age, perhaps there could yet be hope for that soul. Provided that their corrupting influences were dealt with.
- First, Belfanur would be dealt with. The small demon having grown considerably since they've last met. Even seemingly gathering the capability to speak .
- This growing abomination would be put to rest before it could develop anything past that if the Deacon had it's way.
- No words would be given to something considered less than human, his hand outstretched tospew star-fire towards the charging demon.
- (Acacius)
- [ Fight Happens! Belfanur.. Lost ]
- He thought that he could eventually end up spotting that wolf! That it would be cool.
- Neat. Interesting. But of course, the encounter is anything but that.
- He's needless to say, initially stunned by his brother.
- His lord?Rise, and expand." There's a crack--
- like glass breaking as ice rushes fourth!
- "DEV! EXPLAIN WHAT THE FUCK'S GOIN ON, OR I'MA BE WORSE THEN THOSE CIGARETTES!" He shouts!
- Dev may be aiming to attack someone, but-
- Another Ookami aims to intervene, it seems.
- (Rakki Henka)
- A firm bolt of stellar energy fended off the initial charge of the shiv-wielding demon. An opportunity to create enough distance for the Deacon to engage the battle on his own terms.
- Orbs of cosmic energies are hurled out to occupy the demon's attention, rushing in to deliver his own fury onto the abomination.
- Although, it didn't come as easy as he thought. His own triumph over the fledging demon and the witness of Thim beating it as well brought a underestimation of just how quickly little Belfanur could adapt and grow in terms of power.
- Sparks of lightning catch the Deacon's skin. Church cloth stained red much to Acacius' own surprise, that shiv of it's having found merit in it's slashes.
- Carelessness, or a sign of the demon's own growing skill? That 'victory' of it's put more resolve on the Deacon to see the creature before him smitten.
- The Deacon would maintain his close-quarter combat with it for but a few more moments, landing a fist into it's gut before he leapt back, bringing about a new cosmic affliction onto the demon with the coming slew of cosmic magic that sought to eradicate him once again.
- Nothing to hold enough power to fulfill his intent however. If the demon was quick, it may yet be able to escape off before the Deacon could press on again.
- (Acacius)
- Demons are natural predators, however small this once were - Belfanur grew a lot during the year. The passage of time only served for the entity to develop more adequately, evolve and reach great distances.
- As expected.
- Their first encounter had been like the beginning of this fight - fast and straight forward, with Acacius as the one to come out on top! But subsequently, the being returned the favor.
- Faster and stronger, in addition to carrying a shiv that helped its claws to deliver strong slashes..
- And in that, the electricity helped helping the entity to advance without stopping.. Managing to give some problems to the Deacon! However, as much as he tried his best - in the end the demon was 'smited' by the church member..
- Being hit by the cosmic light that sought its end, but this time, the thick skin would withstand much of the damage and in that.. The being would be able to use the moment to escape!
- Injuried? Yes? But alive.
- And maybe, now he could find his hunting party on the way.
- Again he lost, but once more.. He survived and so, would return stronger than before - as this, is how demons are.. Always adapting, evolving.
- (Belfanur)
