- FAQ:
- True End?
- True End. No reason to do anything else.
- Why is this on Hard? I thought you were doing Very Hard?
- I looked into it, and the only difference is that there's a huge multiplier (it's like 2/5) on experience on Very hard. For Example, I was at level 6 after Shadow Chie on my hard mode test, with no extra grinding. On my other test file, I'd have to use another day, grind out nearly 4 times the enemies...
- Aren't persona speedruns traditionally done on hardest difficulty, true end?
- As far as I can tell, the ONLY difference is the experience and money multiplier. Enemies have identical health, deal identical damage, and appear the same frequency I'd have to do so much grinding, I feel it'd lose all merits as a speedgame and end up a very optimized let's play. We're talking scumming almost 7 snuff souls, killing almost 10 enemy hordes per level... I can't imagine this being interesting to play or watch. Perhaps there's a different persona route that will work better for Golden, but I won't be the one to discover it. If somebody comes along and finds a better way to handle Very Hard mode, I'll adjust to the new route and help as much as possible. As it is now though, I just don't think it's a feasible, interesting speedgame without the very minor difficulty drop, especially when there are no enemy differences between the modes.
