- Change log:
- Huge performance update
- Added footwear select screen
- Light spawns are reduced, lighting increased to compensate
- Added new sounds for Pokkuri shoes (the black japanese shoes)
- Adjusted footstep audio filters and effects
- Improved audio latency (audio should be a lot more in sync)
- Adjusted screen shake from footsteps
- Terrain restoration should be smoother now
- Adjusted Tanuki enemy to be more clear
- Tried to fix terrain stairs so the player won't get caught. It works but now the player may not be able to get on the stairs to begin with. So I need to look at that.
- Current known issues:
- Terrain tessellation was disabled for just not working. It literally works flawlessly inside the Unity Editor, but not in the player .exe.
- Some destruction effects were removed in the progress in implementing the new optimized destruction system. I want to readd a lot of those removed destruction effects.
- The frustum that scans whether an object should be rendered or not, may not work at certain angles.
- New shadow distance changes really only works properly at 400.
- Props may not render properly once they are sent flying.
- Desired changes:
- Add (optional) gore on player death
