>It had been a few weeks since Lucya, Selene, and you made it to the new apartment
>And as far as all three of you were concerend, everything was better
>The apartment itself had the same amount of rooms as the old one, but more space per room
>But the furnishings were far nicer, and the appliances seemed more modern than the ones in the last place
>The neighborhood was nicer as well, definitely a higher income average tenant than at the last place
>You didn't forsee any problems with it at all
>Lucya got right to work with her training as Rifle Sister for the area; going around and having introductory meetings at the local stores and the church she was assigned to
>Selene went along with Lucya on her visits, but stayed at home most of the time during the day watching movies or shows on your computer, playing the occasional gmae
>Work was just what you expected out of it,not very challenging, but very intense as to try to leave a good impression on upper management
>You were happy with the situation as a whole, and the two girls made it known that they shared your sentiment
>The fourth monday you were there, when you got home, you found Lucya sitting at your computer for a change
>Not wanting to disturb her, you head into your bedroom to change into some comfier clothes for the evening
>You took off your shirt just in time to hear Selene's voice behind you
"So you have been working out lately...no wonder your blood tastes better."
>You were rather glad that you chose not to put the mirror on the inside of the closet door
>Otherwise, she would see how red your face was from being watched
>Truth be told, you had started working out once you got moved in
>'New location, new outlook or something like that', was your reasoning
>You finished putting your clean, baggy t-shirt on and turned around to her, your face having calmed down a bit
>"Yes, I have. I'd still prefer you at least look the other way."
"Hmmm, no. This is just like when you got Lucya and I wet so we would stop arguing and you walked in on us in your shirts. Go ahead and change."
>You grabbed a pair of athletic shorts that you normally lounge around in or go to the gym in and quickly strip off your khaki pants and swap them for your shorts
>Selene looks at you with a mildly disappointed look on her face
"Oh come on, not even gonna give me a show?!"
>"No, I've got to get to the gym before the after work crowd gets there. I'm lucky that the plant gets out so early, because then I've got enough time to get home, change, and then go to the gym. I'll be back in a little over an hour."
"Awwww, that's no fun. Can I have a snack first?"
>"That would be a bad idea Selene, don't want to be down too much before going to work out."
"A taste then."
>Pausing to determine the relative intelligence of this idea, she gets off the bed and walks over to you, looking you in the eyes


>You hold up your wrist and offer it to her
>As she usually does for a snack or a taste, she rubs the skin she's going to bite into, and then looks at you, waiting
>You nod once and she leans down and punctures the skin, her fangs going into you a short distance that causes a slight discomfort for you
>The discomfort is gone when her hands grab your free hand and hold onto it
>A few more seconds of this almost peaceful scene and she breaks away, licking up the slight amount of blood that pooled at her fang marks
>She backs up a step and looks at you
"Go work out now, I'll be good until later~."
>She gives you a teasing smile as you step backwards through the door, smiling at her in return
>"Bye, Lucya, I'm heading to the gym, be back in an hour or so!"
>The only sounds that you hear from the second bedroom where you keep your hobby stuff was the clicking of the mouse and rapid typing on your keyboard
>It was surprising to you that she would take that much interest in the computer now, when she hadn't before you moved
>Past that, you didn't think much of it as you went out the door

>A little over an hour later, you walk through the front door of your apartment again, back from the gym
>Selene is in the kitchen making dinner and waves to you before turning around, cursing as boiling water in a pot splashed over onto the stove
>You had a shower and changed into basically the same clothes you were in, but more for comfortable lounging than activity
>As you come out to the small card table that you used for a dinner table for the three of you; Lucya also walked out of the spare room
>She was wearing jeans and one of your button down plaid shirts, her hair up in a secretary bun with the miniature bayonet pin sticking through it; just like she had worn to church a month ago
*Hey, Anon...*
>"Yeah, Lucya?"
*Katherine suggested we have an event as like a sort of "get to know you" gathering of Waffengeist and their owners, so that the three of us could get to know them on a more personal level.*
>"Hmmm....what did you have in mind, Lucya?"
*Well, I've already convinced a few people that I've already met to help out with bringing some food and some entertainment, and found a hotel that will let us use a ballroom, all we need is you and Selene to agree to it.*
"What am I agreeing to?"
>"She has a point, Lucya. Need to know what it is before I agree to it."
*Right, sorry. Been working on it most of the day, so I've been scattered. Well, given the nature of Waffengeist to be able to change their appearance pretty much at will; I figured why not have a costume party!*
